Loving it so far! Really creepy indeed.
I'm reading this while it's dark outside and suddenly I hear a sound coming from the corridor, yikes! The clothes I had hung out to dry just fell to the floor, without anything or anybody there (or so I hope lol)

I agree it’s not really scary (but then, I’ve watched and read so much horror that I hardly find anything really scary anymore), but I did find it quite eerie right from the start if you let yourself immerse into the story.

Really liked The Haunting of Hill House too!

I finished Red Queen. It was quite predictable but fun nonetheless. Looking forward to #2.

I’m going to take a small break from YA to read A Dog’s Way Home but will return after that.
