118012 Now this is just what I need. Was planning something alike for this year, but have read (and bought) 1 new book + reading a second new book now. That was NOT the plan! Yes, my job is highly stressful too, so when I get home I don't have any further obligations but am just too tired to read or when I do read I just fall asleep, which I find quite frustrating cause that never used to happen to me.
I'm secretly hoping to read more than 12 books myself, but don't change my goal so I can feel super glorious if I succeed hahaha. Also I really want to focus on enjoying the book as Rosemarie said. I feel I'm a bit too focused on how much I read right now instead of just enjoying the book/story!

118012 Hi, my name is Susy and I'm from Holland (roots in Portugal).

I used to read quite a lot but then stuff happened and I stopped reading altogether. So not long ago I started reading again but often I find myself too tired to read or just not in the mood. I do remember how much I enjoyed reading and I long to feel that again.

I've been looking for a reading group to help/motivate me to reach that goal. A couple of months ago I joined a similar group. I've found it to really help me get back into my reading, although sometimes I feel a bit demotivated seeing how much everybody else reads (my challenge for this year is merely 12 books). Today I just stumbled on to this group and liked some of the challenges so decided to give it a try to participate in two groups.

I like most genres, do have a preference for fiction though, so I can just lose myself in the story. I just LOVE it when a book can make me forget where I am, who I am and everything else in this world and I just 'disappear' into the story being told.
