118012 I’d lost my graphic of the main characters, looked up another one and read some spoilers by accident grmpf

I’m at chapter 86 now.
Though I still find it very interesting, especially now we have more of MC, I’m starting to lose focus (this while my focus is already less with audiobooks). It is a bit on the long side this book lol
118012 Indeed
118012 Yes, really horrible to lose 14 of your (younger) years like that?
118012 I’m at chapter 57 now. Sparknotes have been life saving, thank you @Roseanne!
There are so many characters and (side) plots that it’s hard to keep track of.

If I don’t finish by the end of February (which will probably be the case), I will have to take a short break so I can listen to another audiobook for a readathon I’m participating in.

118012 I disliked her but ended up missing her (and the rest of the characters) after I’d finished the book

Indeed, so many names!

118012 I’m stuck at chapter 31. My concentration is so bad that I’ve started and listened to this one chapter 3 times already. Hopefully after this attempt I will be able to continue...

Anyone ever check out sparknotes online when they are reading classics? I started doing this a few years ..."

Yes, I loved that part too Roseanne!

Ehh, sparknotes?

Lol
I got such a “Sherlock Holmes” feeling listening to this chapter :)
118012 Roseanne wrote: "I do enjoy the chapters with Dantes the most but I find Villefort very interesting. I am into chapter 15 now."

True
118012 I’ve noticed I’m much more invested in the chapters where Dantes plays a role. In the other chapters I tend to lose focus lol

I choose Amelia Unabridged

(And please let me know what it was that Jenna wanted to tell Amelia all along)

It's my first time for The Count and am listening to it. David Clarke does an excellent job, I very much like his voice and he too has a different voice for each character. I might have someday read the physical/e-book though cause I always miss some details while listening. I've been having some sleepless nights so I'm at chapter 27 now.

Ah, that’s a bummer.

I do a lot of listening in bed, so no opportunity to make notes lol

I’m at chapter 19 now.
I believe it was chapter 17 reminded me of Sherlock Holmes....
