April update,Per my usual MO my reading went off track with the start of spring. I am ok with that because I found two new series I liked enough to read them in their entirety. It was YA and graphic novels month but I ended up with less GN and an excessive YA list.
Read my PIFM but did not get to all my color challenge. Oh well still a great month of books. I also got to read two books I won in GR giveaways.
Number books read is 20 (1 box set), 10 new authors!
Total number of pages read is 8,018

Congratulations on the move. I am impressed that you managed time to read, when I moved I was brain dead and even though reading is relaxing I was to tired to try.

Oh, I remember reading this when it first came out in paperback and enjoyed it but now I am wondering how I would feel now rereading it.
I am definitely pushing The Vanishing Half and Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents further up on my TBR. Also adding Wintering: The Power of Rest and Retreat in Difficult Times to my TBR.

An enjoyable YA fantasy set in a medieval setting where the young heroine is a police woman in training. A great mash up of fantasy and a police procedural. Four stars
I have Klara and the sun as a group read this month. Didn’t read the spoilers but am curious enough to bump this up to reading this weekend instead of next.

Finished my color challenge and PIFM books and 1 translated book.
For April I am going to attempt two more box sets and some graphic novels. The first read of the month was great so fingers crossed the trend continues.
