1176148 Still Life by Louise Penny completed. ****
I am not real diligent about reading series books in order and I had already read one of the Gamache series. I enjoyed the book I read but I am glad that I read the first book in this series. I really enjoyed this one and it provided great background on all of the characters in Three Pines. I am sure I will enjoy many more books in the series.

Horse was one of my favorite books last year -- i enjoy all of Geraldine Brooks works. I always learn something interesting while enjoying a good read. I added some of your other books to my TBR

1176148 Completed book #1 Angle of Repose by Wallace Stegner. I gave it 3 ***. It was beautifully written, great character development but I just didn't connect with it. The book was recommended by a friend who also recommended The Overstory which I thoroughly enjoyed and recommended to others.

On to Louise Penny.
1176148 Always good to get the 1st one down. Looks like a good series—oh no—another one to add to the ever lengthy list of series.
