1176148 I found the Worst Hard Time fascinating also. I thought that the Big Burn was also very interesting, Enjoy your reading.

1176148 Finished Night Road. So far I have read 3 books by this author Kristin Hannah. This was my least favorite but I still rated it **** -- I would give it 3.5 if I could. The Nightingale was far better in my opinion. I had a hard time with the characters in this book -- especially the mother.

1176148 Finished book #3 The Girl in the Plain Brown Wrapper **** I try to read at least one Travis adventure a year. January is usually a good reading month for me.... hopefully I will continue.....

Alondra -- I prefer Rhyme to Dance but enjoy them both. I have not tried any of the short stories...I will have to look into that.

1176148 Finished book #2 Silver Girl I gave it 3 stars. Not my usual genre but it was a good fast paced story.

On to book #3 The Girl in the Plain Brown Wrapper--good old Travis.

1176148 Great list ! Horse was my last read of 2022 — Geraldine Brooks is one of my favorite authors. Her historical fiction is so well researched that I always learn a lot. Happy reading
