I’m not 100% sure it’s an ocean thriller but the blurb said ocean, deep caves, monster, and look at the woman submerged in the cover! I’m counting it and I like McBride, I was sorry to see him end his Unit 51 series, that baby had legs.LaVar Burton reads 2043, by the way, and it’s a shorty.
Way to go Marie! I love to see people’s boards!1.

JFK is conspiracy trench. It’s the black hole all other conspiracies revolve around. Like 6° of Kevin Bacon. I bet there were pigeons looking down from the book depository…

Will you plumb the dark depths or rejoice in the rainbow reefs? It’s all there for the taking…
Can you smell the sea swelling?
Can you hear the waves crashing?
Can you feel the gods gathering?
It’s coming...
It’s that time of year again friends! Merfolk May is when we celebrate all the sea has to offer; from mermaids to monstrosities, from folklore to erotica - there are fathoms of fun for all!
Challenge begins May 1st
Post a list of everything you hope to read, challenge yourself to read more than last year. Comment as you read to let us know how it’s going!
One of my favorite conspiracies was Pigeons Aren’t Real. In real life, NASA robotics builds “insects” to someday explore other worlds.
Backtrack - pigeons, which are Everywhere, are actually intergalactic scouts exploring strange new worlds and reporting on resources.
For the record I think Predator, my favorite movie, is the most likely reason, based on human logic not science, of why we have never been formally visited. This galaxy is a nature reserve, a hunting ground.
The sea is full of mysteries and rivers shelter the unknown. Dating back to ancient Assyria, folkloric tales of mermaids, sirens, rusalka, nymphs, selkes, and other seafolk are found in many cultures. Dangerous or benevolent, seductive or sinister - modern masters of fantasy continue to create new legends of these creatures. Gathered here are some of the finest of these stories. Immerse yourself in this wonderful - and sometimes wicked - watery world!
I haven’t watched the Oscars since Billy Crystal but YouTube let’s me know when weird things are afoot. As both parties are rich and black there was no crime committed. I’m glad for Jessica Chastain and that is all. Everyone else is sketchy.
