They brought back the original cast for Jurassic Park Dominion!https://youtu.be/NZL4mUA57hA
Who is hoping the dinosaurs win?
Martin Sheen, Louis Fletcher and even Heather Locklear were good but Drew was memorable. This time Rainbird is being played by a Native American but he doesn’t look scary enough. Maybe he can act scary enough 🤷🏻♀️I enjoyed Reacher and season 2 has already gotten the green light! Alan Ritchson looked amazing and accurate. My only complaint would be the CGI tear at the end. It was unnecessary, the actor’s welling up was enough.
Fire starter has gotten a reboot: https://youtu.be/FjuJVK32gAwIt can’t beat Drew Barrymore’s performance but it looks watchable.
Camping With the City Boy - I liked this break-up-in-the woods story less this time around. Better early than divorced but it’s still a dip into drama I would rather not feel.
Netflix taking on Boeing! https://youtu.be/vt-IJkUbAxYAnd here’s another documentary on the plane that survived: https://youtu.be/0cS1SMptlnQ
The Call of the Wold- before this story I had never considered intentional communities, now I’ve read books about them! Ecovillage Ithaca is a favorite, you know a community is successful when the children return with their own families.
The heated blanket has been my friend. Leverage started off well, then became too cartoonish and goody goody.
I use to love a show called Leverage and Amazon has shown me that it was ripped off from a better British show called Hustle: https://www.amazon.com/Hustle/dp/B084...
Fyrewall - I like what Fiona said about large fires ultimately being prevented by fire. Sometimes doing nothing, letting nature be nature, is for the best. But the self healing self evolving symbiotic wall was too easy a solution.Watch Out, Red Crusher - just as confronting the second time around. The solar cells remaking a glowing peaceful utopia is a beautiful image. Rightly, naturally, this utopian order is challenged by the next generation. But I would fight, uh meditate, to stay in Aberdonia, there are more positives than negatives.
University Choir version of Some Nights! https://youtu.be/7bEZ65DEo54
Now I want all hit some translated to choir.
The Police Chief Scanlan’s Monthly (June 1970) ★★★★☆ “Let’s face it. The majority of people in this country are mentally ill … and this illness unfortunately extends into all walks of life, including law enforcement.”
Writing as Raoul Duke (Master of Weapons), Thompson laments his favorite magazine, The Police Chief, going soft. He now reads Guns & Ammo. Both magazines are still around. The first article I found on The Police Chief was about Diversity and Inclusion in capital letters. The first article in Guns & Ammo was about the Beretta 92x which offers “fresh possibilities for this decorated veteran.” Words that would make Hunter smile!
Those Daring Young Men in Their Flying Machines… Ain’t Whst They Used to Be! Pageant (September 1969) ★★★★★ “Colonel Cotton is the man who saved one of the $350 million experimental XB-70S by short-circuiting a computer with a paper clip.”
Excellent article on the Air Force’s test pilot program. From the swinging single motorcyclist looking to live fast and die young to the family man driving a Volvo with a fancy degree. Basically from the 40s to the 60s they went from Maverick’s to Ice Men. It gives the 80s Classic new depth.
