Why will it disappear from your feed, Autumn?

101690 Hi Autumn, Welcome to the group, and thank you so much for responding to the question. I love learning how people find the groups they join on Goodreads.

Through other's profiles, is also how I have found several groups! :D

I hope you find many great titles to read here, and hope you will join in our discussion threads or even add your own.

101690 Couldn't even finish 14 for all the crude talk, and profanity, so I also removed 'The Fold'[by him] from my TBR list!

While I am waiting for Dark Matter to be returned to my library, I decided to read The Passenger which was available for download.

101690 I am so excited because a hold I was waiting for just came in for my Kindle. 14 by Peter Clines, then will be reading The Fold by him, and then~ Dark Matter by Blake Crouch. I am so excited to read all three of these books! Here's hoping none are duds, lol!

Margaret, I just started my 30 day free trial of Kindle Unlimited last month and I totally love it! I think it is well worth the $9.99 monthly subscription cost. What great entertainment for 10 bucks a month!

101690 Wow Ken and Margaret, really tough growing season for you!

In the 20 years that my late husband and I had a garden, our yearly challenge was fighting the summer drought, so we always had to place the garden within reach of hoses.

101690 Hi Kristi, glad to hear that your tomatoes and peppers did so well, but sorry about the other stuff. Hope you have better success next year. :D

101690 So was this a good growing year for veggie gardeners or a bad year, and please share your hardiness zone where you live.

I am zone 5 here, but no longer have my garden, I have heard it was a wet late spring, with the usual summer drought, but some got wise and planted for a fall crop of bush beans, and they are loaded.

101690 Just finished the first two books in the Cardwell Ranch series by B.J. Daniels, who is a new author for me. I was very happy with them, except the first book with some scattered curses and one not too detailed sex scene, isn't as squeaky clean as the second book is. Crime Scene At Cardwell Ranch (Cardwell Ranch #1) by B.J. Daniels

Justice at Cardwell Ranch & Crime Scene at Cardwell Ranch (Cardwell Ranch #1-2) by B.J. Daniels

The other books in the series don't sound as appealing to me, so I am going to start another of her series with~ Branded (Whitehorse, MT Chisholm Cattle Co., #1) by B.J. Daniels

101690 Thanks for those suggestions Ken! I have watched a few of the Brother Cadfael series on DVD from my library, and enjoyed them. I didn't know until recently that there are books, as well.
