101690 Sadly "Our House" was another disappointment~I quit reading when the "F" bombs started, and when I saw it was going to involve adultery I lost all interest!

my next two tries are~ A Grave Issue (A Funeral Parlor Mystery #1) by Lillian Bell

and ~ A Christmas Kiss (Life on the Moors Book 4) by Eliza J Scott

101690 The Space Between was ok, but nothing special. My next book~ Off To Be The Wizard,I DNF,and didn't care for at all. Hoping my next read~ Our House by Louise Candlish is going to be a favorite!

101690 Perfectly Good Crime was a great 5-star read for me with a mystery- crime-drama, and a very sweet romance.

Now I'm going to start "Growing Season" a back-to- the- land-novice- farmer type story which I love.

101690 Hi Ramla, Oh yes, Cowboy romances are my weakness. I don't read any of the many Billionaire romances that are prevalent these days.
Billionaires are just so out of the average woman's league, how can any woman get past the implausibility of those plots????

I am not familiar with the author Jessie Gussman. Some of her books sound like ones that I would enjoy, so I will check her out.

101690 Hi Ramla, I tried two of her books and decided she is not an author for me! Confessions of a Shopaholic, and The Undomestic Godess. Her books are just too implausible to even be funny. Plus crude sexual talk and "F" bombs!

I am now enjoying an Amish-themed romantic suspense~ Plain Target (Amish Country Justice, #1) by Dana R. Lynn

101690 The Colony was awesome! So was my next book, a super sweet and swoony cowboy romance~How to Catch a Cowboy in 10 Days
Oct 06, 2019 05:49AM

101690 The above book was a wonderful 5-star read for me.

I love when I find a book "gripping in the very first chapter, which is how I found the book that I just started~ The Colony by F.G.Cottam~ The Colony (The Colony, #1) by F.G. Cottam

Great read for Halloween month!
101690 Several of those titles sound promising, Ramla.
101690 Such a good answer, Ramla, and I totally agree. I really, really, really, dislike love triangles and especially when the heroine goes with the least worthy guy!
Oct 04, 2019 02:22PM

101690 So good to see you again Ramla. Thanks for adding your FAV authors. I must check them out.
