101690 When I was in my 20's, I read some of those so-called romance books with graphic sex scenes. I never read one that I didn't find either crass/vulgar or hilariously ridiculous... or both!

101690 Margaret and Kristi, so glad to hear that your dinners were a huge success.: D My son and I totally enjoyed the Golden Corral Buffet.

My parents and two sisters ended up in Spokane, WA after my dad retired from the AF in'69, so the only family I have been around since marriage in '68 is my in-laws. Fortunately I love them dearly and we have enjoyed some great/fun Holidays together. Now that we are older and travel out of state less,to KY and IN., it's pretty much just me and my adult children and their families, here in Ohio.

I always found Thanksgiving to be a breeze, it's Christmas that I hate..... nasty weather to get out in, trying to think of right gifts, too commercialized, crowds in stores. I am a total scrooge when it comes to Christmas....BAH HUMBUG!

101690 It's that time for my family's BUTTER (not sugar) cookies with butter cream frosting. The ones we always used cookie cutters with, but much, much easier to just cut dough out in rounds, haha!
