Welcome Laura and Christine. I am so glad that you found our group. How did you find us?I hope you find many wonderful titles here, and hope that you enjoy interacting with the members here. :D
Sad to say hat Dark Carnival was nothing like the first book in the Dark Bayou trilogy. I didn't like it at all,and had to stop reading because of offensive elements, and not be reading the third book! Now for a 'palate cleanser~ I will try ~

I have just started Dark Carnival

~ Book 2 in the Dark Bayou trilogy.I loved the first book~

Don't know why I waited so long to continue this series......oh wait, yes I do, it's because I continually find new books to add to my TBR mountain,LOL!
Anyway, I hope I enjoy this one as much.
Just starting~A Ration Book Christmas: A heart-warming Christmas classic for fans of Mary Gibson

Could not finish.I read fiction for enjoyment and pleasure and try to avoid books that are full of misery and angst, such as this one was, plus unlikable characters.

O-M-G the third book in a row in this series to rate a full 5-stars from me~WOW!Taking a short break, before I dive into Ripple-book #4.
Highly,highly recommend,this AWESOME, Sci-FI, techno-thriller!
I haven't been really wowed by my reads lately, so since I was wowed by the first two books in the "Breakthrough" Sci-Fi/Thriller series, I am now reading book#3~

Finally supposed to get mid 40's here through the weekend. Too cold, too early for my tastes, but it seems that EVERY season, every year..... the weather breaks records anymore!Thanksgiving dinner was wonderful, and I enjoyed watching the 'My Lottery Dreamhouse marathon before The National Dog Show came on at noon.
I am not a parade watcher. The only one that I ever enjoyed was the western themed one in Cheyenne, WY during the annual week of 'Frontier Days' celebration.
Hi Everyone, hard to believe that another year has passed!WELCOME to all of our new members!
I wish everyone a wonderful, safe and fun, thanksgiving.
We are supposed to have our 15th coldest Thanksgiving ever, so my son(Mike) and I are just staying in and having a roast chicken with all the sides.

I'm on page 47 of 265 of What Did We Use Before: Especially found the moon landing(or hoax) info interesting!
Since I totally loved "Lock The Cellar Door", and after reading the first chapter of the next book at the end of LTCD,as soon as I finished it, I had to immediately purchase the Kindle edition of the next book~ "Midnight At Half Moon Bay", because I want more of Gen and Mack's story, plus her new assignment sounds really interesting and mysterious. :D
ETA: This one, sadly doesn't rate my Favorites shelf, just 3-stars for me.
