101690 Sad to say hat Dark Carnival was nothing like the first book in the Dark Bayou trilogy. I didn't like it at all,and had to stop reading because of offensive elements, and not be reading the third book!

Now for a 'palate cleanser~ I will try ~ Honeysuckle Hollow by Jennifer Moorman

Could not finish.I read fiction for enjoyment and pleasure and try to avoid books that are full of misery and angst, such as this one was, plus unlikable characters.

101690 Finally supposed to get mid 40's here through the weekend. Too cold, too early for my tastes, but it seems that EVERY season, every year..... the weather breaks records anymore!

Thanksgiving dinner was wonderful, and I enjoyed watching the 'My Lottery Dreamhouse marathon before The National Dog Show came on at noon.

I am not a parade watcher. The only one that I ever enjoyed was the western themed one in Cheyenne, WY during the annual week of 'Frontier Days' celebration.

WELCOME to all of our new members!

I wish everyone a wonderful, safe and fun, thanksgiving.

We are supposed to have our 15th coldest Thanksgiving ever, so my son(Mike) and I are just staying in and having a roast chicken with all the sides.
