I thoroughly enjoyed~
5 -stars!Now my next dead tree book from the library is ~
Wildwood
"A single mother. An abandoned farmhouse. An epic battle with the northern wilderness.
Broke and desperate, Molly Bannister accepts the ironclad condition laid down in her great-aunt’s will: to receive her inheritance, Molly must spend one year in an abandoned, off-the-grid farmhouse in the remote backwoods of northern Alberta. If she does, she will be able to sell the farm and fund her four-year-old daughter’s badly needed medical treatment.
With grim determination, Molly teaches herself basic homesteading skills. But her greatest perils come from the brutal wilderness itself, from blizzards to grizzly bears. Will she and her child survive the savage winter? Will she outsmart the idealist young farmer who would thwart her plan to sell the farm? Not only their financial future, but their very lives are at stake. Only the journal written by Molly's courageous great-aunt, the land’s original homesteader, inspires her to struggle on."
I was very happy with The Cats that Chased the Stormand also book 3 in this series~
.Then my next Kindle book was
which I found too depressing to finish.I think my next Kindle read will be a cozy from a different series ~
.And I am still reading and enjoying my first Fairy read~
Which I will finish today.
I was very happy with book-2 in the Time Travel Trailer series-Trailer On The Fly, and I also loved the second book in the (Cats That) cozy mystery series.
and the 3rd book in the (Cats that) Cozy Mystery series~
Hi Misty! I hope you enjoy "The Cats That Surfed The Web" as much as I did. I've got to get ahold of Book 2 in the series.I also want to check out "The Spaceship Next Door" recommended by you.
I really enjoyed the second book in the time travel trailer series. Now I'm reading my library's paper book edition of "The Hawaiian Quilt",
for daytime reading, and have to select a Kindle book to read at night on my Kindle Paperwhite.Ahhh cool, I can download the second book from the (Cats That)-series from Kindle Unlimited for my Paperwhite!
Saddle Tramps was a big snooze-fest for me, but I really liked our member author's (Karen Musser Nortman) A Campy Christmas. Now going to read the second book in her time travel trailer trilogy before I return to her campground Cozy Mystery series.
Really enjoyed both ~
and ~
and now going to start a mystery in the show horse industry~
a daughter has (and is working now)-- worked for show horse farms, so I am interested in this.
CNF the last two I tried~ London and Scag Lake, so now going to start ~The Time Travel Trailer by an author that I am familiar with and have enjoyed, Karen Musser Nortman.
Misty that would have been great to post a video of your trained cat, for all who think that cats cannot be trained, lol, such a video would have gone "Viral"!
Sure Glenn, everyone is most welcome to start their own threads, here. Just think which folder it would fit best in, then on the main page click "New" above the discussion threads. Give your thread a subject title , click which folder it should go in, write your thread then post it. You are able to "edit" it if you need to.BTW, just a suggestion, before choosing to join a group here at Goodreads, I always check the discussion threads to see if they interest me, and I also check the group's bookshelf to see if they have a number of interesting titles for me to check into.
I am definitely a review reading addict to the point that I also check the bookshelves of those whos reviews I enjoy, and I also click on "compare books" on their profile page to see how similar our tastes are, and check their bookshelves, as well.
The Listopia Lists here are also fabulous sources to find titles by genre. I have so many saved in my Listopia folder in my favorites, that it's ridiculous, but perused often, lol!
Love these personal stories. Thank you all for sharing. Pets can become such important and beloved members of our families.♥♥♥
You are most welcome, Glenn. :DI hope that you find several good titles on our bookshelf here, and for many more.... be sure to check my personal bookshelves on my profile page, by clicking on my avatar.
Thank you for responding Maggie and Glenn, and WELCOME to the group! :DGlenn, as an author, please be sure to read the rules about author 'self-promotion', as there are requirements to be met, before it is permitted in this group.
Self-Promotions Rules! Your books & blogs: Please read before posting!

Kristi wrote: "That sounds like a wonderful book, Chris. I've added it to my TBR list. 😁"I hope it enchants you, as much as it did me, Kristi! :D
I also want to read her~The House at the End of Hope Street
Okay, appreciate the info. As long as the cursing is not pervasive, I can overlook it. One of my favorite reads has 2 "F" bombs that were a totally uncalled for surprise, and out of left field!
Re:Kristi, "Silent Threat" sounds more like my type. I really prefer that authors leave out the "F" bombs and sex scenes. Thanks for the info on Dana Marton.
Re: D.R. sounds interesting, could you suggest some examples?Without the "author self-promotion", which you have not yet met the rules/requirements of this group, to post yet.
