These days, when we are buying anything we like to go by word of mouth. Choosing phone psychics when you want to have a psychic reading or picking a reader can be a daunting process. The gift of Frenemies

A Frenemy is someone who might look on the surface like a friend but who does things that you might expect from an enemy, or someone who at the very least doesn’t have your best interests at heart.  We have Sex and the City and Gossip Girl to thank for that particular word,  a mash up of friend and enemy, passing into popular use.  But believe it or not, it’s a phenomena that has long been recognised in spiritual traditions that have a slightly different way of talking about what’s going on and what to do about them.

To begin with, how do you know if you’ve got a Frenemy?  It might take you some time to work out that you’ve got one because at the start they appear to be a friend, but over time you start to notice more and more things that make you feel uncomfortable when you’re around them.

 

Tell your best joke and they’ll be the one rolling their eyes when everyone else is laughing.  When it matters, they aren’t really listening or even paying any attention to you at all.  They can criticise your appearance whilst pretending to be helpful, ask you whether you think you’re really up to it when you tell them about a job or promotion you’re going for, and often you’ll find out that you somehow got left off their invitation list when they were arranging get togethers in your social circle.

In a nutshell, you can tell that you’ve got a Frenemy when you come away from spending time with them feeling a bit less, maybe slightly down on yourself, or just tired, as though you’ve been spending too much psychic energy being on the defence.Which you have.

Really, it’s all a psychic power game and the intention is to drain you to gain power.  So what can you do from a spiritual perspective?

1/Don’t take it personally.  This piece of Toltec wisdom reassures you that it’s never about you.  If you detach from the situation when you’re with them, you’ll probably begin to notice that you’re not the only one they do it to and you might even notice that they don’t do it to everyone.

This is a real opportunity for you to get curious and learn something about psychic energy between people or what psychologists call the dynamics of relationships.

Are there some people they never do it to?  Are there others who just let the acid comments or cold freeze roll over them without seeming to be affected at all?  What’s the difference between all of the different kinds of interactions that happen?  If you can stay detached and just watch quietly, you could learn a huge amount!

2/Have compassion for them.  That might be a tough call when they are the ones delivering the barbs, but it’s usually because they are feeling insecure and bad about themselves deep down.

Practice forgiveness, letting go and imagine them bathed in a pink light of unconditional love when you aren’t around them and you might even find the psychic energy shifts and they start to behave quite differently when you’re with them again.

 

3/Have compassion for yourself.  Being spiritual doesn’t mean that you have tobe a doormat, and I always say that you can love someone unconditionally from a good, safe distance!

The Shamanic approach to life tells us that our outer world is a reflection of our inner world.  Shifting our energy can make dramatic changes to the way that people treat us. Do a double check to make sure that you aren’t giving your power to them and are giving yourself the perfect amount of nurturing and support.  You might find that the put downs melt away like magic!

 

5/ Draw the line. It’s up to you to decide whether there’s enough good stuff between you to allow the friendship to continue, or whether you want to spend your time and energy with other people who just don’t do the same things.

If you do decide that you want to withdraw don’t be surprised if they play the victim, it’s probably best not to have a showdown about it. Say your piece calmly. Gradually phase out the time you spend with them and up the time that you spend with others who make you feel good and psychically energised.

If you’re in the same social circles, you can just make sure that you always seem to be the other side of the room to where they are.  Don’t be tempted to gossip about them or get drawn in to any associated

drama as that creates a psychic energy field that will actually make it harder for them to change for the better, if that’s what they are going to do.

6/ Find the treasure. It’s difficult when feeling betrayed and especially if you have been giving your love and energy to a dishonest friend but bear in mind that, even though we might not enjoy these kinds of relationships, they can hide rich spiritual treasures beneath the surface.   The Dalai Lama says, “In the practice of tolerance, one’s enemy is the best teacher.”

 

Who knows, you might just have a soul agreement with this person so that you can drive each other up the wall in order to eventually bring out the best in both of you!  Remember that at a soul level, we are all connected and only every really dealing with different aspects of the whole.

Try these things and you could find that you transform, they transform, the relationship transforms and you end up blessing the day you met them as you now can value yourself and you may finally have the self love to run like the wind and find true friends!

You may be finding things hard and you are not getting the outcomes you wish, this is because they are not right for you, you are not on the right path, if there is tension and resistance it is the hierophant trying to guide you in another direction and believe me no matter how stubborn you are, the hierophant will beat you, he is very stubborn, but this is only because he wants you to live the harmonious life you deserve and your soul cries out for. So when this card appears be prepared for a spiritual kick up the butt!! Lovers

A very high-energy card today, today’s card is the lovers, they say that all you need is love and it seems to be around at the moment. The Lovers represent perfection, harmony and mutual attractiveness. This card speaks of a trust in a suitor or partner that brings with it strength and confidence to overcome the obstacles in life. The bond between the lovers is incredibly strong and is often reflective of a soul mate connection or very intimate and close relationship. When this card appears, it usually means this time is likely to bring LOVE in capital letters to the centre stage of your life. You will be quite happy about who you have in your life and others will likely remark that you are “glowing.” This is serious stuff. The Chariot

This card has a lot of energy come in with it but also a one full of contradictions. The first things that spring to mind with this card are determination, victory and control. It talks of being ‘at war’ and struggles and having to find the fight in yourself to be victorious but there’s always a but, this battle could actually be with ourselves, internally so to speak. Its like the ying/yang card, we all want to move forward in life and all have the ability to do this but it is how we do this that is key to our happiness. At times we will feel angry, and frustrated either at ourselves or with others, by acting from these emotions we lose straight away but by suppressing them we can cause ourselves to suffer physically as it manifests into ill health, what we must learn to do is to be assertive and also take control of our emotions. We must have unwavering faith and determination to fight for what we want or believe in. Many feel that living a spiritual life means that we don’t feel fear or get frustrated, but we are still human, what we must do is acknowledge our feelings, even sit with them for a while but not let them manipulate us or our actions, we must put our ego aside in order to win this battle, or even look at ‘is winning really the important thing here?’ there is nothing worse than a hollow victory where we lose our dignity in the process, some people tend to be so caught up in the “winning’ that they forget their goal, and to most our goal is happiness. This card is a very karmic card and although we sometimes are not happy with the outcomes the universe throws at us, it always operates fairly. It never takes sides. The hermit tells of a time of introspection, going within to find answers, you may be feeling quite meloncholly and searching for answers within yourself, something has happened that has made you wake up and take notice and you are thinking long and hard about what it is you truly want, has someone made you re-evaluate what you thought you want? The card today is the wheel of fortune. If you are feeling troubled at the moment, then this card tells you to stay strong in the face of adversity, life has its ups and downs and sometimes we need to go through troubles in order to appreciate the happiness we have when they are over. This card talks of cycles and this is often associated with karma and although we sometimes feel like life is a roller coaster ride, this card usually predicts that changes are likely to come soon. Strength

Strength is a pretty straightforward card, it tells you to quell any rage you might feel today and use your strength to act rationally in situations, as sometimes it takes true strength to do this. Today’s card is the hanged man, oh poor you, your head is having conflicting thoughts and you are really not sure on which way to go. A lot of indecision around at the moment, you may be feeling a little stuck and not sure what your next move will or should be. You feel like you are at a cross roads, you feel you should do something but you really are not sure what, you are sort of stuck in limbo, there is however a reason for this, the reason is that you need to take time to ponder and look inwardly to really suss out and feel what your next move should be and what it is you want. There is no rush to make this decision, you are the one putting pressure on yourself, if you notice in the card, the man is hanging by his foot and not his neck, this is saying that although he does need to make a decision eventually, it does not have to be made straight away, give it time, you have time on your side at the moment, don’t make any rash decisions, you aren’t being forced to, just go with the flow. Today’s card is the death card, now please don’t let this scare you, people often recoil in horror if this comes up in their reading, but it does not mean actual death, the opposite in fact, it is a wonderful card signifying transformation and transition. This card indicates endings and as we all know endings can be painful, this could be the end of a relationship, the end of an era or the end of something else that has been significant in your life, but what you must remember is that ending one thing means a beginning of something else, this is the cycle which cannot be stopped. Think of the caterpillar, when it ceases to be what it once was, it is transformed in to a beautiful butterfly, and does it mourn this change? Or does it learn to fly and relish in its newfound freedom? This card is about leaving behind all things in the past that no longer serve you, and taking that first (slightly scary) step in to the future, change only happens when it is needed, so have faith that this change is for your best. Look at how wonderful we all feel when we see a new born baby, or animal, try to feel this way about your rebirth that is happening now, accept it don’t try and control it, clear out your clutter, both physical and emotional and make way for a wonderful new phase that is coming in your life. Remember as one door closes another door opens.

Temperance

Today’s card is temperance. Now when this card shows up the main thing that it is telling you is you must achieve balance. Patience is also relevant with this card and it tells that by bringing both of these into your life it will be more peaceful and you will achieve harmony. When you fight against something you put up a resistance, when you allow something to take over us we again shift the dynamics and we suffer but by merging with our obstacles and trying to work with them or around them we bring in balance and things will flow a lot easier. Within your relationships with others you need to distribute the energy equally. If you are taking or giving more than the other then again discord is the result, equal give and take is called for here. Temperance can also reflect a period of self-evaluation in order to re-examine your life priorities. You are now at a time when you are seeking a much greater balance between your inner and outer self, maybe even searching for a higher meaning and purpose in life. During this transition, you may experience a clash between the old and the new you, sometimes this can make you feel confused about which direction you ought to take and what is really important to you. Today’s card is the devil. What this card urges you to do is stop any denial! Look deeply and often painfully at what you are using these excesses to mask, take time to actually feel your inner feelings of hurt or low confidence and ask yourself, do these things actually help you or are they just adding to self punishment that you may feel you deserve. By understanding yourself you can begin to make much needed changes, everything is ok in moderation, if you need help with any of your issues, you need to ask for it now, before it gets totally out of control, this is not a sign of weakness, this is actually a very powerful act that will give you back control of yourself and your life, also have a look at who you are surrounding yourself with, are these people that lift your mood and make you feel good about yourself? If they aren’t get rid, negativity is a sneaky little fecker and creeps in without you knowing when you are around it. There can be dark forces around us, but light and positivity can conquer these, so allow yourself to shine, take a stand against any self doubt or negative chatter in your own head and by those around you, remember fear is a liar, it is your egos way of controlling you fear stands for FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL, look only at the facts and allow yourself the freedom you deserve, you will then gain peace of mind. Today’s card is the tower, this is probably the card you don’t want to see, but it isn’t all that bad, its infect very bittersweet. Prepare to not just be eased out of your comfort zone today, you will be catapulted, something could happen that seems to rock the very core of your world. You may find out a lover has been cheating, lose your job or many other scenarios, that will bring destruction and chaos into your world BUT and there is always a but, don’t let the tower scare you, as the universe never takes away without giving back better, the tower is a sign that the universe is sick of you just sitting back and taking no action, so it boulders in and takes control and removes what you should have yourself. If you do find a lover is distrustful, isn’t it better you know, so you can stop projecting your loving energy on someone who isn’t worth it, if you do lose your job, you probably hated it anyway and wouldn’t have applied for a one that you would love as you were in your comfort zone… so please be assured that whatever the tower throws at you today, one day you will realise that it was for the best, extra blessings are being sent to you today, fasten your seatbelts as you may be in for a bumpy ride

Today’s card is the star; I really love this card as it always brings with it a wonderful energy of hope and happiness. This card is very much linked with the universe, spirituality and healing. Its message is trust, know that whatever you are experiencing or have endured in the past is now or soon will be over and a time of renewal, peace and happiness are on the horizon as this is a very positive card. The star also tells us that we need to never give up on our dreams, as long as we believe, anything is possible, so start manifesting today as your dreams can become reality. Use the law of attraction to get clear in your head what it is you truly desire, believe it will come to you and then get ready to receive it. The universe offers us unlimited possibilities and opportunities, its like a well that never dries up and we can take from it what we need, but we have to realise its there first. Fasten your seatbelts!! You may be experiencing a sort of mental roller coaster ride at the moment, where you seem to have lost your way, you may be having crazy dreams or acting quite erratically, you feel like you are walking blind and not sure of your next turning. Judgement

Today’s card is judgement, when the judgement card shows up it indicates a sort of epiphany, an awakening to something that you have failed to see or rather have chose not to see in the past. You have finally heard the voice of the universe and are actually listening. It is telling you that you need to live your life in a different way and you need to be true to yourself and your needs. You have opened yourself up to a new possibility to lead a fulfilling life that serves your higher needs. Speak your truth, it’s like I can actually hear the angels singing and blowing their trumpets in a celebration of this. The newfound clarity that comes with this card will force you to make a decision, which may be quite hard but is essential. It involves facing something head on, and to let go of something you have been clinging on to for too long. If you have endured challenges in recent times, then the Judgement card suggests that you may have some rest from this now, there are others around who have experienced something similar to you and who can show you the way to freedom from your troubles, they can help you heal, Let them guide you and help you. You know you deserve better than what you have had, or how you have been treat, so use the courage you have and make this final decision, it wont be easy but I promise you it will be worth it.

The world has a wonderful feel connected to it. The world talks of completion and fulfilment. All of your efforts are finally paying off and you have reached the end of a journey or have completed a major life cycle of you getting through a tough time in your life and starting a new more positive cycle. You have been through some hard and testing times and are still standing; this card indicates a new sense of serenity. Everything is finally coming together and you have done so well to keep your head. Life is a continuous process of ‘becoming’. You are now free to go in any direction, live your dream and you will be triumphant in anything you do. You are free to choose your own path at last, for you have learned your lessons well. So when this card appears be prepared for a spiritual kick up the butt!! A very high-energy card today, today’s card is the lovers, they say that all you need is love and it seems to be around at the moment. The Lovers represent perfection, harmony and mutual attractiveness. This card speaks of a trust in a suitor or partner that brings with it strength and confidence to overcome the obstacles in life. The bond between the lovers is incredibly strong and is often reflective of a soul mate connection or very intimate and close relationship. The Chariot

This card has a lot of energy come in with it but also a one full of contradictions. The first things that spring to mind with this card are determination, victory and control. It talks of being ‘at war’ and struggles and having to find the fight in yourself to be victorious but there’s always a but, this battle could actually be with ourselves, internally so to speak. Its like the ying/yang card, we all want to move forward in life and all have the ability to do this but it is how we do this that is key to our happiness. At times we will feel angry, and frustrated either at ourselves or with others, by acting from these emotions we lose straight away but by suppressing them we can cause ourselves to suffer physically as it manifests into ill health, what we must learn to do is to be assertive and also take control of our emotions. We must have unwavering faith and determination to fight for what we want or believe in. Many feel that living a spiritual life means that we don’t feel fear or get frustrated, but we are still human, what we must do is acknowledge our feelings, even sit with them for a while but not let them manipulate us or our actions, we must put our ego aside in order to win this battle, or even look at ‘is winning really the important thing here?’ there is nothing worse than a hollow victory where we lose our dignity in the process, some people tend to be so caught up in the “winning’ that they forget their goal, and to most our goal is happiness. Justice

The justice card reflects the need for the truth, it urges you to not only speak this to others, but also to yourself, it speaks of a time of making a decision, there is some area of your life that needs attention and I feel that you may have or will soon have this wake up call, Now justice is never about punishment even though it can be uncomfortable. It strips everything down to the cold hard facts and brings all evidence to light, it is about bringing balance in where things have not been right and you cannot hide from the truth. This card is a very karmic card and although we sometimes are not happy with the outcomes the universe throws at us, it always operates fairly. It never takes sides. Look at areas today where you may be intent on ‘winning’ is that really the best option or is your ego just telling you that would be the best outcome? Sometimes walking away with your head held high is better than winning a hollow victory. Check all legal papers today, look out for speed cameras and stay not just within the earthly law, but also the karmic one too, be balanced, be impartial and be truthful and you will be fine.

Hermit

The hermit tells of a time of introspection, going within to find answers, you may be feeling quite meloncholly and searching for answers within yourself, something has happened that has made you wake up and take notice and you are thinking long and hard about what it is you truly want, has someone made you re-evaluate what you thought you want? Have you felt something and this has caused you to retreat through fear? You may have had a sort of spiritual awakening, an epiphany moment as the hermit is a very spiritual card, he is being guided and although he stands still at the moment he needs to embark on his journey soon. The answers you seek are within you, you just need to listen to your inner voice and stop trying to drown it out, you have come a long way, and you understand yourself so much better now, trust in yourself and trust that the universe is guiding you here, honour your own wisdom and let your inner light shine, this will in turn attract those who shine themselves and will lead you to the beautiful connections that will nourish your soul. Take time to contemplate today but don’t over- analyse as this could cause you to retreat further, ask for a sign and you will get it, maybe in the words of a song or something you see written

Wheel Of Fortune

The card today is the wheel of fortune. If you are feeling troubled at the moment, then this card tells you to stay strong in the face of adversity, life has its ups and downs and sometimes we need to go through troubles in order to appreciate the happiness we have when they are over. This card talks of cycles and this is often associated with karma and although we sometimes feel like life is a roller coaster ride, this card usually predicts that changes are likely to come soon. This card also is linked to destiny and it reminds us that many situations in our life are beyond our control, and to just go with them instead of trying to determine an outcome, things happen for a reason although at times this causes us frustration and leaves us questioning “why?” this card gives us the message that ‘this to shall pass’ have faith, keep keeping on and things will eventually turn in your favour. The Wheel of Fortune is about keeping optimistic and having faith in the Universe that it will take care of the situation in the best way possible

Strength

Strength is a pretty straightforward card, it tells you to quell any rage you might feel today and use your strength to act rationally in situations, as sometimes it takes true strength to do this. It tells you that you have an inner strength that has got you through so much and it will again, it is whispering ‘things will get better, things will get better’ it is telling you to look to the past and see how much you have endured, and know that this difficult time you are experiencing will also one day be in the past, but until then you have it inside of you to get through this, even though it may be hard. Strength is not a force with which to exert power over others, but a force to stop others exerting power over you. Hanged man

Today’s card is the hanged man, oh poor you, your head is having conflicting thoughts and you are really not sure on which way to go. A lot of indecision around at the moment, you may be feeling a little stuck and not sure what your next move will or should be. You feel like you are at a cross roads, you feel you should do something but you really are not sure what, you are sort of stuck in limbo, there is however a reason for this, the reason is that you need to take time to ponder and look inwardly to really suss out and feel what your next move should be and what it is you want. There is no rush to make this decision, you are the one putting pressure on yourself, if you notice in the card, the man is hanging by his foot and not his neck, this is saying that although he does need to make a decision eventually, it does not have to be made straight away, give it time, you have time on your side at the moment, don’t make any rash decisions, you aren’t being forced to, just go with the flow. Look at things differently, take your time and weigh up your decisions and look at what would really be best, the hanged man nearly always means you have to let go of something from your past and this is a scary prospect but in doing this you will gain so much more, The Hanged Man asks you to turn your world around and view your situation differently. Death

Today’s card is the death card, now please don’t let this scare you, people often recoil in horror if this comes up in their reading, but it does not mean actual death, the opposite in fact, it is a wonderful card signifying transformation and transition. This card indicates endings and as we all know endings can be painful, this could be the end of a relationship, the end of an era or the end of something else that has been significant in your life, but what you must remember is that ending one thing means a beginning of something else, this is the cycle which cannot be stopped. Think of the caterpillar, when it ceases to be what it once was, it is transformed in to a beautiful butterfly, and does it mourn this change? Or does it learn to fly and relish in its newfound freedom? This card is about leaving behind all things in the past that no longer serve you, and taking that first (slightly scary) step in to the future, change only happens when it is needed, so have faith that this change is for your best. Look at how wonderful we all feel when we see a new born baby, or animal, try to feel this way about your rebirth that is happening now, accept it don’t try and control it, clear out your clutter, both physical and emotional and make way for a wonderful new phase that is coming in your life. Remember as one door closes another door opens.

Temperance

Today’s card is temperance. Now when this card shows up the main thing that it is telling you is you must achieve balance. Patience is also relevant with this card and it tells that by bringing both of these into your life it will be more peaceful and you will achieve harmony. When you fight against something you put up a resistance, when you allow something to take over us we again shift the dynamics and we suffer but by merging with our obstacles and trying to work with them or around them we bring in balance and things will flow a lot easier. Within your relationships with others you need to distribute the energy equally. If you are taking or giving more than the other then again discord is the result, equal give and take is called for here. Temperance can also reflect a period of self-evaluation in order to re-examine your life priorities. You are now at a time when you are seeking a much greater balance between your inner and outer self, maybe even searching for a higher meaning and purpose in life. During this transition, you may experience a clash between the old and the new you, sometimes this can make you feel confused about which direction you ought to take and what is really important to you. Devil

Today’s card is the devil. This card can indicate obsession, addiction and excess, usually its something you do to excess that you know deep down is wrong for you but you feel compelled to carry on no matter what detrimental effect this has on your life, you feel an almost hypnotic pull towards self destruction. Has recreational drug taking become more frequent? are you seeking the thrill in physical pleasures or are you becoming obsessed with a relationship that you know deep down may not be good for you?, these are all situations associated with the devil, temptation is so strong here. What this card urges you to do is stop any denial! Look deeply and often painfully at what you are using these excesses to mask, take time to actually feel your inner feelings of hurt or low confidence and ask yourself, do these things actually help you or are they just adding to self punishment that you may feel you deserve. By understanding yourself you can begin to make much needed changes, everything is ok in moderation, if you need help with any of your issues, you need to ask for it now, before it gets totally out of control, this is not a sign of weakness, this is actually a very powerful act that will give you back control of yourself and your life, also have a look at who you are surrounding yourself with, are these people that lift your mood and make you feel good about yourself? If they aren’t get rid, negativity is a sneaky little fecker and creeps in without you knowing when you are around it. There can be dark forces around us, but light and positivity can conquer these, so allow yourself to shine, take a stand against any self doubt or negative chatter in your own head and by those around you, remember fear is a liar, it is your egos way of controlling you fear stands for FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL, look only at the facts and allow yourself the freedom you deserve, you will then gain peace of mind. Tower

Today’s card is the tower, this is probably the card you don’t want to see, but it isn’t all that bad, its infect very bittersweet. Prepare to not just be eased out of your comfort zone today, you will be catapulted, something could happen that seems to rock the very core of your world. You may find out a lover has been cheating, lose your job or many other scenarios, that will bring destruction and chaos into your world BUT and there is always a but, don’t let the tower scare you, as the universe never takes away without giving back better, the tower is a sign that the universe is sick of you just sitting back and taking no action, so it boulders in and takes control and removes what you should have yourself. If you do find a lover is distrustful, isn’t it better you know, so you can stop projecting your loving energy on someone who isn’t worth it, if you do lose your job, you probably hated it anyway and wouldn’t have applied for a one that you would love as you were in your comfort zone… so please be assured that whatever the tower throws at you today, one day you will realise that it was for the best, extra blessings are being sent to you today, fasten your seatbelts as you may be in for a bumpy ride

The Star

Today’s card is the star; I really love this card as it always brings with it a wonderful energy of hope and happiness. This card is very much linked with the universe, spirituality and healing. Its message is trust, know that whatever you are experiencing or have endured in the past is now or soon will be over and a time of renewal, peace and happiness are on the horizon as this is a very positive card. The star also tells us that we need to never give up on our dreams, as long as we believe, anything is possible, so start manifesting today as your dreams can become reality. Use the law of attraction to get clear in your head what it is you truly desire, believe it will come to you and then get ready to receive it. The universe offers us unlimited possibilities and opportunities, its like a well that never dries up and we can take from it what we need, but we have to realise its there first. Water is natures gift to us and we or anything could not survive without it, it nourishes us and hydrates, think of a plant when it has been hot, it wilts and looks all forlorn, but give it a little water and within a short time, it stands strong and tall and vibrant. The Moon

Fasten your seatbelts!! You may be experiencing a sort of mental roller coaster ride at the moment, where you seem to have lost your way, you may be having crazy dreams or acting quite erratically, you feel like you are walking blind and not sure of your next turning. If you are a creative type, you may be bombarded with ideas that you need to get out, like the crazy writer sitting up all night putting his words to paper, there is a fine line between the madness the moon brings and the genius it uncovers. A fabulous card with a fabulous feel today. Today’s card is the sun. This brings with it a lovely warm energy, like when you feel the sun on your face for the first time of the year and instantly the cold dark winter seems to be behind you. Judgement

Today’s card is judgement, when the judgement card shows up it indicates a sort of epiphany, an awakening to something that you have failed to see or rather have chose not to see in the past. You have finally heard the voice of the universe and are actually listening. It is telling you that you need to live your life in a different way and you need to be true to yourself and your needs. You have opened yourself up to a new possibility to lead a fulfilling life that serves your higher needs. It speaks of rebirth, resurrection and using intellect teamed with intuition to have came to this understanding, you know now what you need to do. Speak your truth, it’s like I can actually hear the angels singing and blowing their trumpets in a celebration of this. The Judgement card suggests that you have reviewed and evaluated your past experiences and have learned from them. It gives you the chance to unburden yourself from the past, bring well deserved peace and harmony back in and also talks of you feeling so much better after this. The newfound clarity that comes with this card will force you to make a decision, which may be quite hard but is essential. It is a card of forgiving and forgetting which is so important to do before you close the door on something that you know deep down should have happened a long time ago. I loved it so much I thought I would create one just for you, and while I am at it, get some of my psychics to create mini readers too. It’s hopefully a fun and inspiring taste of Tarot for you and also to get to know the voice of some of our psychics.

If you look at the card, they only have to lift the chain to escape. Being a prisoner to the Devil is an illusion.

The Tower – This is a very significant card and some people think it is one of the Tarot ‘bad boys’. But before you freak out, I suggest you read my full article on The Tower here. The Tower is bringing sudden change that can often feel like an upheaval. Sometimes it is only dramatic events that release us from situations that no longer serve us. After The Tower comes great healing and inspiration.

The Star – Inspiration, healing and sweet, sweet love. The path ahead is clear and the drama is over. You may have gone through a tricky time but finally you are out the other side. Follow your inspiration and believe in yourself. When you do this, you send a calling signal to the Universe, and the love that comes values you as you value you. Something fabulous this way comes.

The Moon – Your unconscious is on fire, listen to your psychic intuition. Pay careful attention, especially around the Full and New Moon for a sense of what is true when it comes to your love life. Sometimes this card reveals someone working against you or not being honest, but your intuition is strong enough to know who it is. It also awakens your desire for something deeper.

The Sun – One of my favourite cards and an excellent love card. Joy is on the way to you. Playfulness, happiness and a deep sense of trust, not only in love but in your soul path. The pleasure that comes with this card is usually solid and you will soon know who or what really makes your soul soar.

Judgment – It’s crunch time with no hiding. It might look like the front cover of a Walking Dead DVD but actually, this is a joyous card. A decision has to be made about your love life but your soul knows which path to go down. If not, you will any minute now! Finally you are ready to take action, deal with your stuff and move forward, free of past love burdens.

The World – Otherwise known as the best card in the pack! The world is at your feet and love should become easy and give you a sense of completion. Of course, the world is always turning, so we can’t rest on our laurels. But right now all should be well in your world and love should become something to celebrate. Of course, love can mean many things, and this card urges you to walk in love in all ways, not just passion and romance. Either a current relationship becomes what your want it to become, or new love pops up and it really is covered in roses!

Pentacles

The King of Pentacles – A strong Earth sign (traditionally male) Taurus, Virgo or Capricorn. Powerful, stubborn, successful, down to earth but can be a bit pig headed.

The Queen of Pentacles – Strong, generous Earth Sign (traditionally female) or Earth mother qualities. Clever, good at business can also be pig headed :)

Knight of Pentacles – Strong, stubborn, materialistic, good with their hands, earthy. When they commit they commit.

Page of Pentacles – Earth sign or earth young (in mind or body) person. Excited about life, ambitious, thoughtful. Committed but may procrastinate.

10 Pentacles – You are being protected and someone is watching over you. Trust in your beautiful spirit and avoid anyone who is too cynical.

9 Pentacles – Sensual, abundant and down to Earth you are about to reap a love harvest! You are coming into your power and enjoying or about to enjoy being a sensual being.

8 Pentacles – You’re working hard to make things work in love and through your work on yourself things move forward. If you are single, perhaps there is someone who admires you at work.

7 Pentacles – Even if your love life is tip top, you might be feeling a bit bored. Beware of just wanting a conquest for the sake of it as that would soon get boring too! Are you or a love interest being detached or stubborn?

6 Pentacles – Love takes the form of a generous figure who loves spoiling you but beware there isn’t an energy imbalance. Generosity takes many forms and it’s important to have equality in a relationship.

5 Pentacles – You’ve been through the wars emotionally and may be feeling a bit lost and vulnerable. Don’t worry, healing and shelter are at hand and the hard times are hopefully on the way out.

4 Pentacles – You may feel as if someone is being tight fisted when it comes to love. Either you or someone else is withholding the love vibe or giving in to the fear of moving forward. Happiness cannot happen if we cling too tightly to things. It’s time to let go and fly.

3 Pentacles – Success! It’s time to lay some firm foundations. You’re at the beginning of a love cycle which has the potential for solid growth.

2 Pentacles – On the one hand, you may feel that you are juggling your affairs (for some of you in more ways than one!). On the other hand, you realise that you can do it and you have the skill to make love work for you. There may be an overseas connection which tugs at the heart strings.

Ace of Pentacles – Happy days! A secure, abundant and wonderful time is heading your way. The worries are passing and you should truly feel you have turned a corner. If you are single, look out for a lover who is strong, capable and possibly very successful.

King of Wands – An energetic and enthusiastic soul who loves an adventure. Charismatic and fiery. This King likes action and doesn’t mess about. Passionate with an all encompassing belief.

Queen of Wands – This Queen is equal to all and s/he knows it! Adventurous and powerful s/he does not bow down to anyone and puts her passion into action. Is it time to put your passion into action?

Knight of Wands – Fire, fire, fire! This soul only does full on. At best passionate, eager and very warm. At worst has a problem with road rage etc and being disagreed with.

Page of Wands – Curious, adventurous and loveably naive, this Page may be young but has a world of openness. Idealistic and exciting, usually a pleasure to be around.

Wands

Ace of Wands – Oh yes, passion in action! The Ace of Wands is one of the most sensual cards in the deck. Desire fulfilled, full on love action, and if you are asking about a love affair it should be go, go, go! Sometimes this card is seen as the fertility card. Great carnal chemistry and delights await!

2 Wands – ‘Curiouser and curiouser!’ cried Alice! There may be an offer of love which you can’t see or decide upon. There could also be someone you quite fancy but don’t feel is a long term prospect? This card tells you that there is more here than meets the eye, so don’t be afraid to try something or someone who is a little bit different.

3 Wands – You may feel that real love is in the past, yearning for an ex to return or perhaps thinking about the beginning of a relationship rather than working on the present. It’s time to turn around and embrace your future. Great things await.

4 Wands – You might be thinking about moving in with someone, moving home, or having a date at home or in the home of your love interest. This could be the start of something solid, or a rejoicing at moving to the next level. If you’re invited to a housewarming or house party, it might be a good idea to say yes!

5 Wands – There appears to be a bit of banter going on but make sure you aren’t making mischief just to get a paramours attention! It’s fun to tussle with a love interest but make sure you aren’t hurting their feelings, and if a flirt is going too far with the jibes, gently tell them so.

6 Wands – Yeah baby! Victory is afoot! You have the chance to conquer in love, but do it gently and with good grace. This is your time to ride high and feel as if you have achieved your desire. Love should be a a long dip in a warm ocean this week.

7 Wands – Under pressure from all sides, you might feel as if you are not being heard. You also seem overwhelmed but you still have a good chance of victory. Don’t let other people interfere with your relationships or friendships or let anyone try to force you to think like them. You are a beautiful free spirit and true love is two free souls choosing to be together while respecting each others freedom and differences.

8 Wands – Waite called these the ‘arrows of love’ which gives us a clue to the fabulousness of this card. Love energy is going to start hurtling forward and it might just catch you by surprise. It might feel like a bronco ride with nothing but a shoelace for reins, but it will certainly be fun.

9 Wands – Are you or a love interest being defensive? Being defensive is a natural response, especially to criticism, but in love it serves no purpose but to alienate the two love birds. In this card we see someone who has won the battle but maybe lost the war, as they are so effected by the experience. Try not to see things as an attack. Be a warrior of love and break the pattern and communicate from a different angle. Not all love experiences will be the same and it’s time to feel safe or make yourself safe again.

10 Wands – Can’t see the wood for the trees? Your love life (or lack of it) may feel like a heavy burden, however if you really check this card out you can see there is an easier way of carrying those pile of wands! If you are experiencing problems, seek a listening ear or find a life coach or therapist to help you see the other options.

Swords

King of Swords – An intellectual, powerful soul with a razor wit. Possibly an air sign (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) can be emotionally detached, so it’s important you can handle that as it’s probably not personal and just who they are. Seductive but may have a hint of Grey about them…

Queen of Swords – Don’t mess with this Queen or she will slay you with her steely stare. She has a brilliant mind and does not like foolishness. Successful and powerful, she might find it hard to express her emotions. Possibly an air sign (Aquarius, Gemini, Libra).

Knight of Swords – Fearless, clever but sometimes reckless, this Knight is never afraid of a challenge. This soul can be quick to anger and loves an intellectual tussle. He hates to feel stupid and can act a bit intellectually superior which could be annoying. However equally if they are in touch with their heart chakra they will fight just as hard for you.

Page of Swords – Someone young or young at heart who is very passionate about the truth, the thing is most truth is relative and coloured by emotions and life experience. The page has not learned all there is about emotional intelligence and empathy but cares passionately none the less. They can be angry (or indicate an angry young child impacting a relationship) but they if they love you, they believe in you wholeheartedly.

Ace of Swords – This is a big moment of truth. Whatever the truth is, it shall be revealed, and this truth should in some way give you your power back. This card gives you the strength to think things through and to implement a plan and also to say your piece and be heard. It can also indicate a lump sum of money coming in.

2 of Swords – A decision has to be made but perhaps you are in two minds about it? How do you feel your love life can improve? You may be blindfolded at the moment but you really do have the power to rip that blindfold off and see what you need to see. The next step is to act.

3 Swords – There has been an emotional wound in the past that is so deep and perhaps went on for so long that you are used to it. You are a true warrior of love and have allowed yourself to feel deeply and open up to your vulnerability. Don’t give up now! It’s time to heal the wound and free your heart. Open up to love again and most importantly love your precious self.

4 Swords – You may be giving a loss of some kind and your love mojo is gently resting and putting itself back together. Be gentle with yourself and know that at the moment you are gathering yourself for the next adventure. Listen to your heart and your emotions and take care of yourself.

5 Swords – This is a tough time for you where you may be feeling that someone has acted unfairly or responded way out of proportion to a situation. Don’t worry, they have probably alienated themselves with their actions. If you are at all tempted by revenge, please do not go down that road. You know the old saying ‘if you’re out for revenge, dig two graves’. This energy passes quickly and before you can say ‘hey presto’ you are surrounded by a different soul group as long as you keep your own souls integrity.

6 Swords – It’s a time of emotional passage for you. Congratulations you have started the healing journey. Leaving something behind and letting things go is a tough decision (literally, emotionally or spiritually) but also liberating and soul enhancing. A new cycle is beginning.

7 Swords – The trickster. Does your intuition tell you someone is not being honest with you? A fib, lie or trick is revealed. I can hear you say ‘Michele! Why have I scrolled all the way down here for this bit of news?’ However, trust me, whenever I have got this card it has always given me a gift as it reveals someone has not got the right intentions. I would much rather know so I can release them and keep my energy for my real soul friends and lovers! Celebrate as the truth comes out.

8 Swords – Do you feel trapped in an emotional situation or even disempowered in the love department? Please look at this card and rejoice! As you can see the person in this card feels imprisoned, but can actually whip off those ties and blindfold and walk out of that gap. Old thinking or old feelings may keep you trapped, but now is the time to leave your emotional cage and let your soul see opportunity, freedom and the bigger picture.

9 Swords – Something is messing with your love mojo leaving you worried and possibly having fitful or sleepless nights. Perhaps you are feeling down or suffering from over thinking? Give yourself a break, stop blaming yourself and give yourself a good dose of self love. You are a beautiful soul and even if times have been hard, the wheel will turn and love will eventually rule the day.

10 Swords – As I point out in my Talking Tarot App, the 10 of swords shows someone who feels so betrayed they feel not only stabbed in the back, but also the ear! Perhaps you feel extremely let down or betrayed, but I promise you this feeling will pass and you will heal. If nothing has happened recently perhaps it is time to heal the past and let go of your fears regarding love? Trust your soul to make the right decisions in love and always listen to your gut feeling.

Cups

King of Cups – Usually this King is emotionally intelligent, in touch with his emotions, warm, creative and nurturing. If this King is not in touch with all of their gifts they can be emotionally weak or manipulative; but they can make you feel damn good! Often a water sign or lot’s of water in the chart (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces).

Queen of Cups – This Queen is loving, emotionally flowing and usually very warm. She can be clingy or even manipulative if she has not stepped into her regal power. Sensitive, empathetic and quite psychic as well.

Ace of Cups – I love this card and lucky you for getting it! The Ace of Cups symbolises a peak emotional experience. Your cup runs or will run over with joy, pleasure, love and abundance. Emotions are flowing, blissed out on spiritual and soul connections and generally feeling things on the deepest level.

2 Cups – Hooray! The soulmate cards! Of course soulmates can mean many different things but this card is one of the best cards you can get when asking about love. Two people on the same vibrational level, loving, supporting and understanding. You have met or are about to meet your soul match.

3 Cups – Friendships, celebrations and experiencing happiness. This cards shows three women friends having a jolly good time. Hopefully some good love news has you out with your pals cheering your good fortune in love? Friends are so important, so keep in touch with the ones that mean something special to you.

4 Cups – In the house of love you appear to have forgotten you may have other options! The person in this card is staring intently at the 3 cups in front but not realising there is another tantalising cup wafting to one side. Could there be another love possibility that you are not seeing? Is there a situation to be resolved in your love life but you’re stuck thinking of only 3 solutions, or should I say, soulutions? Look for another answer, it might be right in front of you!

5 Cups – I love this card, although it looks like all is lost and indeed you may feel as if something catastrophic or emotional has happened, this card tells you to stop ‘crying over the spilled milk’ and turn around to find real treasure. All is defiantly not lost and things are probably not as bad as you think. There is emotional happiness right around the corner.

6 Cups – This is a very special card and it makes me squeal with delight (almost!) when it comes up in my cards. it’s especially good if you are single as it means that you will meet someone who you have a very strong past life connection with. You are hopefully about to meet someone who you feel as if you have known all your life. It could be someone you already know, who just gets you and makes you feel open, soft and gushing!

7 Cups – Victor Hugo, the great romantic french poet once said “The soul has illusions as the bird has wings: it is supported by them”, and this card illustrates that. It’s so important to have dreams and especially to let our soul soar in love, BUT, make sure that what you think you feel or what you are chasing is real and not just some damn old windmill. Choose the right love.

8 Cups – This is another favourite card of mine. You are about to embark on a quest to find what is missing in your love life. It doesn’t mean anything negative at all, indeed this person is walking away from a stack of cups (or love) in order to find something important. This powerful card talks to our soul and sings ‘be true to yourself’ and ‘go for it’

9 Cups – Hooray! You pulled the wish card! This is a brilliant and dashing card to pull. It usually means your wish will be granted. Something you desire is coming, a love hurdle is overcome, your wish is fulfilled. The only thing I will say is of course ‘be careful what you wish for’! Enjoy!

10 Cups – Happy days, love rules the hour. Celebrations, joy and feeling totally connected to a lover or partner. You might be about to take the next step in love. A wonderful time is had by all as you are uplifted by being around those you love; not just partners, but those souls you consider your soul group. A deep sense of contentment is coming your way.
