One would think my name is quite unique, but I could not get it as a name on gmail or youtube because someone else had taken it. I recently received an email offer to buy back my own name for UDS4,000!
I reported all Ambeth Ocampos on FB leaving five legitimate ones that includes my private account. There are about a dozen "Ambet Ocampos." Fortunately, the Ambeth R. Ocampo FB page is now "verified."

September 21, 1972 was the date on the Martial Law Proclamation, its actual implementation was on September 23.
Stop describing the whitewash of the Marcos dictatorship and the martial law years as ‘historical revisionism.’
Historical revisionism means correcting what is wrong, erroneous, or false. The pro-Marcos narrative continually foisted on us, in social media, is nothing but barefaced lies and half-truths. This is not historical revisionism it is historical denialism.

My original column title for today was "Marcos writes His Story" that was probably logically or grammatically wrong. It was corrected to "Marcos writes his own story." Do you think we lost a pun or play on words?

360 view begins from Emilio Aguinaldo’s bedroom, to the spacious sala that leads out to the double doors, that open onto the iconic Independence Day Balcony. It ends with a gallery of historic photos and the entrance to the sala. Emilio Aguinaldo Shrine in Kawit is worth a visit. Next time I bring Freud.

It always pays to be curious.
Got down and dirty digging through a heap of old papers in an Ermita shop two decades ago and found two 19th century bank drafts: HSBC and what is now Standard Chartered.
Storekeeper priced these very reasonably at PHP 100, and if I had bargained well, I'm sure I could have gotten BOTH for less than PHP80. I felt the price was fair and paid without comment.
Do you agree with friends who scold me for taking advantage of the seller's ignorance? Was ...

Before & After ECQ. I finally look human again but wonder how my branch of Felipe and Sons will thrive: only one barber works, clients have to show proof of vaccination, strictly by appointment, no walk-ins. No complimentary back massage too. Hope clients tip generously.
