On the road again!

As many of you probably have figured out by now, I've been on the go a lot this year. We just got back from a blissful two weeks on the southwest Irish coast. Waterfalls! Wildflowers! Pubs! We hiked miles and miles and miles and loved every minute. We got home Sunday night, and I'm still a bit jet-lagged...I got up at 4 AM looking for coffee. ;-)
Now I'm looking forward to going on the road again from June 24 to July 5. I'll be making stops in the Chicago and Milwaukee area, New Orleans...

Writes With Kittens

Yasmine Gelenorn's NIGHT MYST is a ground breaking book. Some may think there can't be anymore ground breaking books but this one will change your mind. If you don't like tension, don't read this book. If you don't like amazingly innovative characters, don't read this book. If you don't like over-the-top sexy scenes—uh uh, this is not the book for you. On the other hand, my flowers, if you enjoy a little (or a large) thrill now and again—get your orders in...

Video, Photos, and other Highlights from the Reader & Author Get Together

Photobucket

Another Get Together is in the bag, and WOW did I have fun!

Every year the event gets better and better, in large part due to the fantastic volunteers! I have a photo of our "core" volunteers, but this in no way covers all the people who help in so many ways. Literally, if something needs to be done, 3 or more people are there, ready and willing to jump in.

How Nora Roberts got me past my slump

[image error] Let me just preface this by saying I've never actually met Nora Roberts. But a week or so ago, when one of my stinking cats woke me up at 3:15 a.m, she became my new best friend. I know, I know, usually they're my darling cats. Not so much, however, when Mojo is jumping on the bed, stomping across my body and piercing my brain with his dentist drill meow, then launching himself from my hip to the floor, only to immediately repeat the process.

Which....is not the point. That would be that by th...

ELIZABETH CRUISES THE INSIDE PASSAGE

Hello, everyone! I can't believe how long it has been since we last met on this page. Life just keeps happening at warp speed.

Right now I'm all excited about the publication of DEATH ECHO on June 8th!

The story of Emma and Mac, danger and death, life and love, begins in the Pacific Northwest AND unfolds against the gorgeous backdrop of the Inside Passage between Vancouver Island, B. C. and mainland Canada. The people in DEATH ECHO are like the water itself--quick and sometimes...

Please welcome Elizabeth Amber to Running With Quills

I am absolutely thrilled to have fellow Kensington Aphrodisia author Elizabeth Amber as my guest at Running With Quills. Elizabeth's Lords of Satyr series has become a real favorite of Aphrodisia fans, and her latest, Dane, The Lords of Satyr, begins a new trilogy about three half-satyr/half-human brothers, within her erotic historical paranormal romance series. Dane is an RT Book Reviews Top Pick in the June issue (4.5 stars), a Night Owl Romance Top Pick, and has garnered numerous 5-star...

Please welcome Deanna Raybourn to Running with Quills!

Please welcome Deanna Raybourn to Running with Quills! I'm off hiking, kayaking and pub-hopping in Ireland ahead of THE WHISPER hitting stores in late June. Of course, I have books with me. Tucked into my suitcase are Deanna's SILENT IN THE SANCTUARY and SILENT ON THE MOOR. I'd heard so much great "buzz" about Deanna and had SILENT IN THE GRAVE on my ever-expanding TBR pile. I finally came up for air and dove in and...wow! I love this series! It's clever, witty, rich in detail and totally...

Contest winner and Susan's new release

[image error] Hey all. Just butting in for a moment to tell Michelle Benard that she won Christie Craig's contest. Sorry about the delay--I was out of town for the weekend, so didn't get a chance to post it earlier. Please email Christie at ccraig6@earthlink.net with your address and your $15 B&N gift card (how cool is that!) will quickly wing i [image error] ts way to you. :)

Also, I forgot to tell everyone I have a book out as well. It's a reissue, but I'm a happy girl, because Skintight was one of those books that just...

CONTEST TIME

ON MEMORIAL DAY WE REMEMBER THOSE WHO HAVE GIVEN THEIR LIVES FOR OUR COUNTRY AND ALL WHO SERVE IN OUR ARMED FORCES TO KEEP US SAFE.

[image error]Good morning, my flowers:

I'm still bubbling on about my Court of Angels series. Also I'm busily hatching new plots to enmesh other characters. All three of the first books are in the Independent Mystery Booksellers' Killer Book List!

At the moment I'm running a contest for an autographed set of the first three books: OUT OF BODY, OUT OF MIND and OUT OF SIGHT. All y...

The Gift of Love & a Give Away!

Photobucket

Each year I try to do what I call a "benefit" anthology - a collection of novella-length stories from myself and a variety of other authors. I call them "benefit" anthologies because the advance, as well as author and agent proceeds, go directly to a local charity. Generous authors donate their time and effort to contribute a story, and Berkley Publishing arranges the special contracts.

For June 2010, we'll have THE GIFT OF LOVE to benefit the Conductive Learning Center, a special school for c...
