Thinking about family...

My apologies for a late post, but it's been "one of those" weeks and I just haven't quite gotten it all together. Embarrassing, really, to admit, especially since the week is over and we're starting a new one, but we've had family visiting and everything else sort of takes second stage when the grandkids are around.

We missed out on wishing you all a happy 4th of July! Hope yours was fabUlous. Here in the Pacific Northwest it was cold and wet. Now, Seattle summers histori [image error] cally begin on the 5th of July, but we usually have a week or two of gorgeous weather in May to help get us through until then. Not so this year. THE WHISPER is out! Tales from the road...

Hi from New Orleans! Although I might be in Memphis when you read this. The entire contents of my suitcase are heaped on the bed here in my hotel, and I'm repacking after 7 days on the road in 5 different hotels. I don't get home until July 11, but it's been fun so far!
Yesterday was a real treat. I got to be in a beautiful city, meeting readers and booksellers on the day THE WHISPER went on sale. We started with a TV interview. I walked into the sitting area, and there was a man asleep...

It's finally out!

Wolf Tales 10 is finally out! I've been so excited about this particular book...it's not like it's my first. Far from it--counting the anthologies, this is the 19th story in the ongoing series about my sexy Chanku shapeshifters. What's different about this one, though, is that I killed off a main character.
