Jayne brings you MIDNIGHT CRYSTAL video

Boy, howdy, am I excited. MIDNIGHT CRYSTAL, the third book in my Dreamlight Trilogy, goes on sale this week, Tuesday, Aug. 31st. Cissy Hartley of Writerspace and author Paula Graves (who also writes romantic-suspense) just finished the video. I got a real kick out of it. Once again, one of Betty Chu's charming English Angora rabbits is featured in the starring role of Gibson, the Dust Bunny. I hope you enjoy it!

Carla Neggers Welcomes Anne Stuart

I have a new historical series coming out and it's made me think about things. First things first — the series is called The House of Rohan, and it's about four generations of a very decadent family. The first is the story of a cousin, Alistair, and that's available for free from Amazon and elsewhere. Just look for THE WICKED HOUSE OF ROHAN. Then RUTHLESS, which is out now, RECKLESS, coming in late August, and BREATHLESS one month later. All with Very Bad heroes.

So just how bad can a h...

I AM A WORM!

How appropriate since I'm so good for the soil you need to grow even more beautiful, my flowers:

Seriously, I am a failure tonight. All day I've run in ever decreasing circles. TWO CHIMNEYS, the book I'm writing, keeps throwing me huge curves which I have to double back to fix. Argh!!!

Please forgive the lack of anything interesting from me today and continue to enjoy Kate's lovely, juicy excerpt. Wish I could win one of her advance copies:(

Love and blessings to all,
Stella

HellFire's a'comin'!

Okay, so I'm running around like the proverbial headless chicken tonight, thinking I've got absolutely nothing to blog about. I mean, all I've done this week is write. I get up at six, sit at my computer, and if I'm lucky I get to bed by one, but my final Wolf Tales was due last Monday, and even though my editor asked for a longer book and gave me an extension, my inner critic is having fits over being late. I'm not complaining about the hours--I love writing this series and I'm really going...

Welcome Back Kristan Higgins!

I'm outta town again. But this time I got us a guest blogger. Yep, Kristan Higgins is back. What can I say—she begged me, ya know? Okay, sure, so I'm a bit of a sucker for food—'specially seafood—but the girl is sneaky.

Just sayin'.

Still, she does write a darn amusing blog! (Not to mention book) So please join me in welcoming her to Quillsville! Take it away, Kristan!

Happy August, Everyone! Can't believe summer is coming to an end already. Friday the 13th - plus Book & T-shirt Giveaway!

Photobucket

Guess what? I finished my 2nd single title, "Trace of Fever," AND just finished a novella for the next benefit anthology, "The Promise of Love." (Both books are out in 2011, so a long way off!)

I'm pretty anxious to dive into the next single title, "Savor the Danger," featuring a super-fun, mega sexy, outrageous hero... but I'm going to force myself to take a few days off first. The old gray matter definitely needs to recharge!

So just as I was putting "the end" on the novella, I realized it w...

You Asked!

[image error]Good morning, my flowers:

For a few weeks I've been fiddling around trying to decide where my writing life should take me next/first. Now I seem to have decided (aha) so I will concentrate on some of those questions I asked for.

Mary wondered if we always wanted to be writers and if we held down other jobs.

I written or played with writing since I could form words on paper. I'm almost ashamed to admit that as an avid reader from childhood I never considered writing professionally until I was an ...
