FASHION & ACCESSORY STYLE: Crystals, Stars, Studs and Glitter Rain Boots!
I know, I know, I said in the almighty wardrobe cull of 2014/2015 that I’d never buy black again, and then bought two black tops the following year, but when I saw these black pieces I went, fuck it!, I’m buying them.
I was in the op shop and walking down the jeans aisle when I saw these jeans hanging out from the rest of the row. I took one look at them and pulled them out. They don’t fit properly, but again, fuck it!, I wasn’t going to leave them there for $7. They’re long, jet-black and straight legged. Not a combination you find in a jean that often.

And, of course, I then had to find this black shopping bag with gold stars for $15 from Kmart. Except there was a $9 tag on the rack so I got it at the marked down price, yay. Then Kmart decided to sell these gold studded boots. I bought the first pair for $30 and what the hell, they marked them down to $19 the following week so I got an extra pair. It’s hard to get a size 11Au so I’ve got a spare.

Next were these awesome pink and gold star slipper bootees I found at Rivers for $10 on sale, and back to Kmart for these awesome pink glitter rain boots for $10.

And then there are these unicorn/pegasus slippers for $8 from, again, Kmart.

Seriously, if it hasn’t got stars or glitter, or aren’t unicorns or rainbows, I’m not interested!

My gift to Ellen DeGeneres and the anniversary of Jackie Collins’ death.
Today marks the third anniversary of Jackie Collins’ death.
Jackie was my mentor, my inspiration and my role model when it came to writing, and today marks the third anniversary of her death. That sucks, it still does. Too many celebrities have died in the last five years, and all have been a mentor or role model to someone.
Jackie was mine. RIP Miss Jackie C

Today is also the day I tell you about my gift to Ellen.
I mentioned this sometime last year, it was also on my writing to do list for this year, and now I’ve achieved it.
Two days ago I posted about the re-release of #teenblogger: To Follow or Not To Follow? and the release, finally, of all six Poems Of A Musical Flavour books along with the deluxe edition which are all out today to purchase off Amazon or order through your local book store, on my publishing imprint.
The reason I mention this again, is because #teenblogger is what I sent to Ellen.
I was told by my guardian angel/guide/helper/muse, whoever it was who’s looking over me, to get this book to Ellen. In early 2017 actually. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a lot I could do about things then, but I made sure to get it ready this year. I was pushing to get it to her by the end of May, but that just wasn’t gonna happen. It was a sense that she needed it by September. Well, I sent it off August 30 and it should have been there within a week.

Here’s what I sent.
A letter, telling her about myself and why I think #teenblogger is important. A small tiara and wand, along with crown stickers, because, you know, my name is Tiara King.

I used three tiara paperclips to hold the letter closed, and wrapped it up in three layers of pretty pink and blue paper. I had found a gorgeous box to pack it in, and tied it with pink and blue ribbons.

And if you look closely at the letter, you’ll see I have a faded image of #teenblogger’s cover on the paper.

Why did I do this? Not entirely sure what my guide/helper’s/angel’s motives were, I can guess, obviously, but I don’t want to put the wrong thing out there or jinx it.
Have you guys ever sent a present to a celebrity before?
It’s kind of like the fan clubs of old, now websites, where you’d send presents and letters into, and now concerts where people throw presents on stage, although, as we all know, most of those things never get kept and are either thrown away or donated. But I have my fingers crossed for this.

#teenblogger and Poems Of A Musical Flavour in paperback and on my new publishing imprint.
While #teenblogger: To Follow or Not To Follow? has been in paperback for a year now, and e-book format for two, I have updated it slightly to represent this year, plus laid out the interior myself, while my cover designer at Odyssey Books did the cover.

Previously, I published my paperbacks solely through Amazon’s CreateSpace. But, last year, I decided to set up my own publishing house, Royal Star Publishing, which I’ll do a post on soon, purely for the fact I publish under three names and have so many books and stories. It also means I buy my own ISBNs and have even more control.
CreateSpace will be closed down and gone within weeks. Instead of merging CS and KDP, Amazon chose to set up KDP Print, so CS will be shut down. That prompted the bigger decision for me, to also set my books up at Ingram Sparks which supplies books to over thirty thousand book/chain stores. So, I’m all over it.
Earlier in the year, CS decided to close down their e-stores, something you got free as part of publishing each title on Amazon. By doing that, they have made costs cheaper, so books can be cheaper. Which means, originally I priced #teenblogger at $12.49 due to printing costs, but now, I can price it at $8.99USD. Just over 100 pages at 5×8, I’ve priced it cheaper because it’s thinner than my next books. However, since CS is merging with KDP Print, the price may have to go back up again, but I’ll try and keep it at this price.
Poems Of A Musical Flavour have had a long arduous journey. I started releasing the e-books in 2017 with awesomely funky covers. But, due to financial issues caused by our version of Social Security, I had to put the paperbacks on the back burner and slowly get bits and pieces done here and there as I also had books being released under L.J. Diva and T.K. Wrathbone, so each had to have a money schedule and be done when it could afford to be done.
So, here they finally are.
All six in their paperback glory.

Yes, they are still the same as when I showed you last year, and you can see them here, I had hoped to release them last year, and then March this year at the latest. But when I knew that wasn’t going to happen I made sure they were ready by Sep 19th 2018 which is their release date, and yes, it’s just two days away. They have had their interiors massively updated with typo corrections and tweaks, plus my new publishing house logo is on the back.
I’ve also done a special deluxe 6-in-1 edition.

At 7×10 it’s running at 688 pages and is priced at $39.99 US / $44.99 AUD. The single books are priced at $12.99 USD / $14.99 AUD. You can buy them on amazon, or order them through bookstores.

I have also released them in two e-book box sets. 1-3 and 4-6 for $6.99US each.

These are the song lyrics I wrote from 1989 to 2002. I did state in these books that they are the only ones at the time of printing, but I have gotten back into it because I had to write lyrics for a character in an L.J. Diva book that’s also released this month. In fact, I’m releasing 17 paperbacks this month. Three T.K. Wrathbone, seven L.J. Divas, seven Poems and #teenblogger was officially launched, but released last month.
This month I am officially available across thousands of stores worldwide to be bought or ordered.
What have you guys done this month?

STYLE NOTES: The latest goodies to make it into my office!
God I love me a notebook, and I’m only buying ones with a reference to what I do these days, otherwise, I have way too many. Although, I did pull apart most of them for my planner, kept the covers, used the paper, otherwise they go to waste. But here is another in reference to what I do. I found it for $5 at my local Big W and decided to colour it in.

And, of course, one must have sparkles! I managed to track down the pink and blues ones on the left for $3 each, again, from Big W, and the neon pink on the right from my local Kmart for $1 each.

Above left is a gorgeous pink glitter heart pen holder from Kmart for $5, and two glitter pens, again from Kmart, for $1 each. Above right are two cute sticker books I bought from The Reject Shop for $2 each. Secret Agent is so James Bond. Henry Cavill, you listening? I should send you some. And, of course, a king cannot go past king stickers, which I’d say are very Game of Thrones-esque.
Below on the left are two gorgeous pink and blue sequined beanies, $7 each (not stationery, I know), and unicorn/mermaid planner die cuts $3 and paper $5. Below on the right are two paper trays I bought from Officeworks for, I think, $2 each on sale.

So they are the latest goodies to make it into my office, all glittery and sparkly. What stationery have you guys bought lately?

HEALTH & BEAUTY STYLE: Welcome to the family I heart Juicy Couture and Tous!
E very six months or so I need new perfume.

I’m fussy when it comes to how something smells, for me, perfume has to be fruity, and lightly spiced. I hate florals and thick smothering scents that makes you feel like choking. So, every time I’m after a new perfume, I stand in the local chemist and ask to niff new scents until I find something I like.
Two of those are Tous, which, as you can see, is not only in my two favourite colours of pink and blue, but has a pretty tropical print and a teddy bear lid. It’s so cute I couldn’t resist it and it smells good to. For $35 AUD on sale, it was a bargain for 100 ml.

And then there’s I heart Juicy Couture. I’ve already had one Juicy and loved it, and when I saw this bottle I had to smell it. It’s very similar to the last one, as many seem to be, has a gorgeous animal print bottle with a diamonte lever top. I highly recommend Juicy perfumes to anyone wanting a light fruity spicy scent. It stays on my skin for hours and I only need to top up once half way during the day. I spray my neck and chest, and from my shoulders to half way down my forearms. I never spray my wrists as perfume can tarnish watches and bracelets.

What perfumes have you guys tried lately?

Nikki Kathryn Planners and Updated Planner Shelf
I’m just getting around to talking about these now because I’m also showing you my updated planner shelf.
Nikki Kathryn planners are gorgeous and pink and glittery. I made my first purchase from eBay when I bought the large for quite a bit less than retail. I then bought the smaller one from WashiGang.

This was my first from WashiGang, and I also bought travellers notebooks for my forth coming travellers notebook covers (the webster’s I’ve already shown and now my Nikki Kathryn is next in this post), I got glue pens to use in my goals/travel planner when I get around to doing that, and got the cat stickers and unicorn pen as freebies. Thanks Shannon.

Here she is, the Nikki Kathryn travellers notebook in all her pink glittery style which I bought from a planner group on Facebook. These are the travellers notebooks I chose to go with her. Keeping to the fashiony, pinkish, girly theme. Paris, of course.

I found the Kikki K Love Life pen goes perfectly with everything.

And here are the three Nikki Kathryn beauties together as one little family.

And here is my updated planner shelf. The big white and two little Happy Planners have been put somewhere else as it all wouldn’t fit. And I tried to get it in a colour scheme, from white to pink to blue to green. You’ll see some flamingos and unicorns in there somewhere. Aren’t they pretty!
Back of shelf – three happy planners, Kikki K Letters, Recollections flamingo, Nikki Kathryn large, Kikki K Wellness, Websters planners and composition

Front of shelf – Kmart compendium, Nikki Kathryn travellers and small planner, two zippered Recollections, four Kikki K mediums, Websters travellers.

The next step is to find more blue ones, mainly glittery, and then maybe I’ll be done.
What’s your planner shelf like?
