MY PERSONAL COLLECTION: Clothing and shoe bargains!
Geez, living behind a shopping centre with such great stores who are constantly on sale makes for a great closet full of great clothes. I’ve been buying so many this year that I have thrown out about 25 old pieces of clothes and about 5 pairs of shoes. Because yes, I bought more of those too!

Silver glitter high top sneakers for $30 from Spendless Shoes
Real leather boots also from Spendless for $40. I threw out a pair of these because they weren’t leather and about 10 years old. The comfiest boots I’ve ever worn as I also need to wear arch supports for my flat feet and these accommodate them just fine. The thick tire tread soul cuts out all impact waves and you feel nothing. It’s like walking on cushions.
Funny thing, I’ve become a bit of a Gerard Butler fan this year, although I’ve known about him for about a decade and have seen Olympus Has Fallen about 5 times. The brand of these shoes is Olympus, and their name is Ranger. Gerard’s character in the movie, Mike Banning, is a former special ranger amongst other things.
Mmm, is the universe trying to tell me I’ll end up with Gerard Butler…..lol.

I’ve bought ridiculous amounts of jewellery this year, all because of the end of tax year sales and the fact that the stores churn out collections every other week, so there’s always something on sale.

Earrings left: $8.50, bracelet middle: $3.33, bracelet right: $3. I also bought the hair band even though I have short hair and don’t wear hair accessories any more.

COUTURE STYLE: Charm Me and Charm You
A couple of years back I posted these necklaces separately as I did them. The photos weren’t all that good as the necklaces were laying down, but now that I have Betty, and since I needed to take pics of the OPULENCE ROYALE collection a few months back, I also took shots of all the couture I’d made, these necklaces included. I also included these pics in my jewellery book, HOW TO BE A JEWEL DIVA: Tips and Tricks to Buying, Wearing and Caring for your Costume Jewellery, available through my Madeit store.
It’s funny, I look at some of these charms now and go, “oohhh, that would look good on a bracelet stack.” Oh dear!

MY PERSONAL COLLECTION: Clothing bargains from Best & Less and Kmart
I seriously cannot believe the amount of clothes I’ve bought this year and we’re only 7 months in. Thank God for living behind a shopping centre with stores such as Kmart, Best & Less and Millers who are constantly selling their goods at low prices or heavily reduced prices.
The three pieces below came from Best & Less. The blue top was $10, the pink $7, and the light cardi throw over was also $7
These two came from Kmart. The tiger jumper was $17 at full price and the pug top was $10. Still incredibly reasonable prices for full price.

COUTURE STYLE: Warrior Woman
A few months back, before Easter I think, I decided to make Warrior Woman in an afternoon. Throw together a bunch of studs and spikes and you have the ultimate warrior armour. With metal laced bangles dripping with spikes to a spike belt, this is all any woman needs for fighting.
