Music Theme -Water, Water Everywhere And Not A Drop To Drink
“See the sunrise over her skin, don’t change it…”
Thirst like desire runs every way but North, as rivers bend stone to their will. It crashes down and trickles sweetly, either way, life flows from high places to the sea where it becomes part of the whole. The sea is the only refuge, the escape from man, mother’s salty poison keeps us out.
To divert and sully this life is to design our destruction; an exchange of desire for madness, where thriving gives way to a blind chase for survival. No l...

Become
If I could invent myself over and over again, I might become.
.
If there was a way to escape the routine of life, its mundane, the ritual, I may become.
.
To set aside the norm and break through the barrier that keeps me earth bound, I could become.
.
When I let go of my mind’s whispers of untruth, I am becoming.
.
Now there is nothing here but my essence, I have become. I am a blank page longing to be filled with the magic of what I may become.
Now that spring is here, we are free to beco...

Embers
You painted a dragon and said it was me
Stood in the line of fire, the kind I breathe
No matter the direction, your hems singed
You stand in awe of sweeping destruction
In billowing smoke and new life ensuing
.
I was bewildered at your heroic display
Overcome with the excitement of one
The chains that bound me fell to the ground
A white flame victory of the heart’s true love
Lit by the fire from the core of your lungs
Written with Underground Energy.

The Case
Facing the shadow once again
A meeting so new with the old
It lives on while I still contend
Building a case against eternity
A frantic filling of every gap
Draping my spirit in anarchy
It towers above my weak knees
Dominates my fears so easily
Can’t know if he hears my plea
I asked for a savior to step down
Shadow confined him to a throne
Promise of wearing the great crown
The answer was empty, quite bleak
I hear no horse riding in for me
There remains only shadow speak
I am pulled between...

She…
She holds the sun in the perfect spot
Waits while I take my best shots
For every prize I sought in vain
She was there, holding the sun
While I played in the shadows
She made sure I could see
No matter how far it would take me
She holds the sun in the perfect spot
Pulls me from under when I cannot
For every prize I sought in vain
She was standing when I was not
The life I have left will surely be spent
Bringing treasures from darkness
Ever explaining where I went
She knows I’ll come find her

Love Is True – by Lizzie O.
This is true by the sky blue
This is true by the ocean waves
This is true by my parent’s love
Harmony and melody = love

Sunrise on Dauphin St.
Rhythm
She asked for a rhythm
The one playing in my heart
Said it makes her better
Alive, constant and sure
She thinks it’s my nature
Convinced I’ll play the part
Yet my rhythm was quiet
‘Til her song gave it start

My Night
Now I know why I was crying
A bitten lip saga, no whimper
Like you knew what it meant
To be in isolation, lonely bliss
But it finally came clear today
A delicate brand of deception
Your dance of flailing lights
All while escaping my night
I thought you knew how it went
Like swimming in our own cove
But you opened the gate alone
It closed and there is no code
Now I know why I was crying
Midnight sun is still blinding
Thought this night held you
Lips bleeding, still I am silent
