Aged Irrelevant
For every year that drips past my palms
Ignoring seconds like biting flies
Watching it all gain momentum
I am caught in remembrance
Of my lives long gone spent
Belonging to the middle of another century
Extinct at the millennial bell’s call
Where everything woke up
And nothing became true
No captives were taken
Only those with the will to coast
To rub shoulders with the next
Any one of a million lonely souls
The sentimental was strangled
All the elements turned plastic
Even love found a way t...

Dragon’s Heart
Must have been out of any entity’s loop
An alliance struck with a fallen empire
Courting every stolen heart as if his own
Clanking shiny sword on a locked gate
Nature’s maiden loved beyond centuries
Sits guarded by tongue’s ancient wisdom
Innocence’ fair preserved by hope’s faith
Eyes locked on her life’s majestic mate
As a knight rides, the silence has fallen
Only his armor glinting off tilted rays
Assured an easy battle, unopposed
He has come to collect his sighted prize
Dragon rises in de...

Worth
If it were as simple as reading the convoluted script of the poets or reciting their mantras, I might already have worth. If I could believe in things external, I may find a way to love myself. Whats on the inside remains, woven into my biology, unreachable by any human means.
I could dissolve the solutions to make them as worthless as my creations. Squander every cent not earned, or refuse the phrases of strength like water evaporated before nourishing the earth. The sun is my reminder. It...

Music Theme – Confidence
It was Lisa’s turn to pick the music theme this week. We do these on Thursday, usually first thing in the morning.I was on safari yesterday. I found some very rare animals, and I will share the pictures before the end of summer.
Confidence is something that fluctuates for me. Generally speaking, I am more confident in the areas I practice most. Those things coincide with what I am good at with the result being a sense that I can complete what I start; confidence.
I had the pleasure and honor...

Love Is In The Air – Part 5
Nothing signifies that summer is near better than love bugs. I admit this was not quite as difficult to find as some of my other ‘loving bugs’, mostly because love bugs are in a perpetual state of lovemaking and there are thousands of them.
Their position in nature has only come into perspective since the invention of the automobile. They are nature’s twice annual paint removers, as well they will decorate your windshield like few bugs can. Their “honeymoon flight” is often interrupted by by...

+Bipolar Stats –
April
It turns out that my monthly statistics on WordPress are a great way to track moods. I have been encouraged for years to keep a ‘mood log’ of some sort, but have found over and again that I become fixated while trying to identify where I land on the scale from day to day. It just isn’t healthy to quantify something so erratic.
Who would have thought that it has been logged for me?
This is a great, free service being carried out by WP. I could show my p-doc my blog stats during my visi...

The Sailor’s Stone Pt. 1 (An Epic)
Epic.

Prologue
On the dust of a hill skirting Earth City sat a man, a sailor, keen eyes full of visions, limbs throbbing with great power, head trembling in anger, heart not set to port nor starboard nor stern, but set stra...
