Jason Riley does Between the Lines. Nicely.

Another day, another TBWCYL, Inc. favorite. Today we are geeked to spotlight the Jason Riley who very generously hosted one of the stops on This Book Tour Will Change Your Life and currently has a kick-ass interview titled The State of the World up on Between the Lines where he riffs on a variety of topics including Werner Herzog, Harry Morgan, Kindle and The Volcanoes Above Us. It's most entertaining and very likely to change your life, maybe even for the better.

Coolness. Corey Mesler rocks the YouTube.

Long-time TBWCYL, Inc. and This Zine Will Change Your Life favorite Corey Mesler is now officially rocking the YouTube. It's quite good stuff and while we think it just might change your life, in case you're even somewhat questioning our judgment on this, please feel free to watch the below clip. Nice, right? Way.

A quasi-Solar Anus, Atlanta, When I Moved to Nevada and Collin Kelley round-up. Plus a new edition of This Podcast Will Change Your Life. Nice.

Okay, first off big thanks to Jamie Iredell for hosting TBWCYL, Inc. spokesperson Ben Tanzer at this past week's Solar Anus reading, much fun, and second, please do take a look at Jamie's new joint When I Moved to Nevada which we blurbed on earlier this week here at the blog. It's quite good. Also, very nice to have met co-reader and poet Collin Kelley and hear him read from his new book Conquering Venus which we promise we will read and report on right here some time soon. And, if all that was

This Self-Portrait Will Change Your Life, Week Thirty - "Solar Anus."

We went to Atlanta. We did the Solar Anus and read "Jesus Walks" and "Ira Glass Wants to Hit Me." We drank Miller High Life. And Podcasted. It was quite nice and we will have more soon, for reals, but in the mean time, we have Week Thirty of This Self-Portrait Will Change Your Life, our effort to post one self-portrait per week for one year. You of course can follow the project in its entirety on the Flickr. You can also send us of a self-portrait of yourself and we will post right here on This

The Collectors by Matt Bell.

Travel. Time. Read. Repeat. We continue to be on the road and we continue to consume books. Which brings us to The Collectors by Matt Bell. Haunting. Beautiful. And rife with compulsions writ both big and small. Really, really, good stuff. And available from Caketrain as a free E-book. Get it now. There you go.

When I Moved to Nevada by Jamie Iredell.

In preparation for the Solar Anus reading tomorrow night in the Atlanta we consumed When I Moved to Nevada by Atlanta-based author, Solar Anus co-host and This Podcast Will Change Your Life participant Jamie Iredell. We are quite happy to report that while it mirrors a variety of similar themes in Iredell's quite impressive Atlanta - bars, fights, drugs and chicks - it is simultaneously more expansive and less claustrophobic which we attribute to its keen focus on the natural world and its endle

Some much deserved Orange Alert Sunlight at Midnight, Darkness at Noon media love.

How cool is this, there is both an article in New City discussing the Chicago literary reading scene which nicely highlights among others, the work of the Jason Behrends and Orange Alert, as well as, an interview with Hosho McCreesh and Christopher Cunningham on the Kung Foox Art Collective blog where they riff on many of the topics - life, writing, and all that entails - that make Sunlight at Midnight, Darkness at Noon such an excellent and thrilling read. Good stuff, yes? Yes, now please take

This Self-Portrait Will Change Your Life, Week Twenty Nine - "Delayed."

Work. Family. Travel. And water parks? Yes. And the result? We were so close to not getting this week's self-portrait posted. Luckily though, Week Twenty-Nine of This Self-Portrait Will Change Your Life, our effort to post one self-portrait per week for one year, is here, which means, that you can rest easy, and we get to remain as self-absorbed as ever. Meanwhile, if you want to follow the project in its entirety you may do so at the Flickr, and if you, our dear friends, would like to see your
