"Ben Tanzer is a master of the art of dialogue." Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine is having a nice week indeed.

We are quite geeked to let you know that Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine is having quite a nice week indeed. Today we are happy to share a review that author Stephanie Johnson of the quite wonderful short story and flash fiction collection One of These Things Is Not Like the Others recently posted on the Goodreads.

"Ben Tanzer is a master of the art of dialogue--both in terms of what is said and what remains unspoken. Most Likely You'll Go Your Way & I'll Go Mine captures the...

The new edition of This Zine Will Change Your Life is live and driving and full of George Anderson.

The new edition of This Zine Will Change Your Life is live and driving. Or something like that. We have a new poem Driving on North Mountain by George Anderson, which we are way excited about, and, as always, photo action from Adam Lawrence, a music selection from Jason Behrends and socialized medicine-infused prose love from Pete Anderson. We hope you enjoy this edition and we appreciate all shout-outs and links. Finally, please note, that we think you rock. Big time.

"A dizzy ride into the precarious place where two human hearts try to cohere." Some quite kind words for Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine.

We are, and have always been unabashed fans of novelist, poet and short story writer Corey Mesler. And it means a lot to us when he has kind things to say about our work. He recently had some praise for Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine which he posted on Goodreads and we are way thrilled and appreciative all at once. Many thanks man, and drinks on us for sure when next we meet.

"Ben Tanzer gets it. He gets the current zeitgeist: pop culture, the hookups, the office chatter...

"The detail is beguiling." Repetition Patterns receives some kind words from The Short Review. That, and an interview.

We are quite thrilled, and most appreciative, to have received some very kind words about Repetition Patterns from The Short Review. They also asked TBWCYL, Inc. spokesperson Ben Tanzer to do an interview and excerpts from both are below.

The review:

"Some of these stories might seem inconsequential. They're about tiny happenings or changes. People long for something, they grow up or move away. But the detail is beguiling, and often something dark or unusual is happening behind closed doors...

The last bag. And no, that's not a reference to Donna Summer, The Basketball Diaries or Junkie. Not exactly.

Once upon time we decided to sell out. We thought if we were to co-opt a major corporate marketing campaign for our own purposes we would sell many, many additional copies of the Lucky Man. And so, when Dunkin' Donuts ran its "How I Keep America Running" YouTube contest we jumped on it. The Top Five videos would play on the Dunkin' Donuts website. We placed in the Top Fifty. We did not get to see our video on the website. We did not get sell many, many additional copies of the Lucky Man...

This Self-Portrait Will Change Your Life, Week Thirty-Four - "PaintWriteDeathLifeArt."

It is Week Thirty-Four of This Self-Portrait Will Change Your Life, our endlessly self-absorbed effort to post self-portrait per week for one year, and this week we have titled our self-portrait "PaintWriteDeathLifeArt," because one, we were thrilled to attend a retrospective of TBWCYL, Inc. spokesperson Ben Tanzer's father Michael Tanzer's work as an artist, and two, we were honored to have been invited to read something at the preview show for the retrospective and decided to read an...

Short Street by Timothy Gager and I Am Going To Clone Myself Then Kill The Clone And Eat It by Sam Pink.

Travel equals time equals reading. Today we traveled and today we finished two somewhat diametrically opposed story collections, Short Street by Timothy Gager and I Am Going To Clone Myself Then Kill The Clone And Eat It by Sam Pink. The former is a tight collection of short stories as snapshots centered on a variety of problem drinkers and people on the make and the latter a group of flash fiction explosions centered on body parts and bodily fluids, dead animals and Katie Couric. And yet, they
