The new edition of This Zine Will Change Your Life is live and thinking about July 4th. Or something like that.

The new edition of This Zine Will Change Your Life is live and thinking about July 4th. Or something like that. We have a new story, The Arrival by Nathaniel Tower, which we are way excited about, and, as always, photo action from Adam Lawrence, a music selection from Jason Behrends and prose love from Pete Anderson. We hope you enjoy this edition and we appreciate all shout-outs and links. We also think you're special.

Jamie Iredell is back. Not that he left, its just that he has a new joint we think you should check out.

Friend and most excellent writer/poem prose-ist Jamie Iredell - he of TBWCYL, Inc. favorite Atlanta, both the chapbook and podcast - has a new joint out from Greying Ghost Press called When I Moved to Nevada which we are so ordering. You?

MONKEYBICYCLE subscription drive madness. And stuff.

The crew at MONKEYBICYCLE has always been quite good to us here at headquarters, running with a handful of pieces by TBWCYL, Inc. spokesperson Ben Tanzer including It's Only Rock and Roll, But I Like It and A Short History of Happy New Years (and Not So Happy Endings), and so in return we want to take a moment to hype their big subscription drive this week. And there we've done it, so hit it. Thanks.

The Demon Boy. A new joint from the quite awesome Michael Paige Glover.

We are quite geeked to let you know that the quite cool Michael Paige Glover, the artist who did the quite awesome cover for Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine, is venturing into the comix realm with his new joint The Demon Boy. The project is still evolving, but it looks like a lot of fun and we hope you will take a look, because you never know, it just might change your life.

This Self-Portrait Will Change Your Life, Week Twenty-Four - "Post-run: Summer Edition."

As it has been the hottest week of the year, it seemed only fitting that for this edition of This Self-Portrait Will Change Your Life, our highly self-absorbed effort to post one self-portrait per week for one year, we should post a shot post-run, because the self-portrait we posted during week one was taken following a run during the coldest week of the year. That portrait is below, but as always you can follow the whole project at the Flickr. You may also be wondering whether we will post a se

Inexorable. Assuming that's the right word. Is it?

Some much appreciated praise for Repetition Patterns.

Good friend and crack short story writer Ken Wohlrob had some kind words for Repetition Patterns which he recently posted on Goodreads. Many thanks to Ken whose work we admire, and for the rest of you an excerpt. Cool?

"It's a sign that midway through any of these tales, you suddenly care about what happens to these characters, as if they were your own old friends. Having read Ben's work before, this collection stands out as his best effort."

Dave Eggers loves us enough to write. Okay, that may be strong, but he does want to "buck us up." Pretty cool, yes? Yes.

You may recall that we were quite taken with Dave Eggers offer to "buck-up" anyone feeling down by the current state of books and book love. You may also recall that we said we would write him and ask to be "bucked-up" and then report his response to you. Well, you will be happy to know that we kept up our end of the deal and he did as well. Fairly cool, we think, and while we are not going to share the entirety of the response here, or anywhere really, here is an excerpt:

Tyler and Bengelsdorf publishing madness. Or, if you prefer, a This Zine Will Change Your Life contributors update.

We are quite geeked to share two excellent pieces of publishing news from This Zine Will Change Your Life contributors J.A. Tyler and Tobias Amadon Bengelsdorf. First off, long-time friend and TBWCYL, Inc. favorite J.A. Tyler and his kick-ass ml press are not only gearing-up to mail out the next round of ml press chapbooks, but are mass-producing Charles Lennox's A FIELD OF COLORS, which having consumed it during the weekend, we would like to be sure you know is quite a gem, sad and wonderful al
