Eeee Eee Eeee by Tao Lin.

We have read the Eeee Eee Eeee and we have to say one reason we did so is because people seem to either freakishly love it or absolutely hate it which we frankly find terrifically appealing. We would add here, that if you are interested in getting a look at the range of reactions to the book just visit the Eeee Eee Eeee Goodreads page. It's wild. That said, we can see why people hate it or love it, really, we get it, and our thoughts are thus, it is an oddly affecting and poetic stream of consci

The ml press July trio is in the house, er, office, and it is the love.

There is mail and in that mail is a package from ml press. In that package is a trio of tasty literary delights rife with vivid imagery and endless compulsion. These delights are a thousand & one others by elizabeth ellen, thunderstorm as familial convulsion by ryan call and parts by molly gaudry an excerpt from the novel(la) WE TAKE ME APART which is forthcoming from the press in December. We think these delights should be consumed by you. Soon, even now. We also think that they just might chan

This Self-Portrait Will Change Your Life, Week Twenty-Seven - "Eeee Eee Eeee."

We saw a dolphin. We entered a trapdoor. There was a camera on a table. We stared at the camera. We took this self-portrait. It is week Twenty-Seven of This Self-Portrait Will Change Your Life, our wildly self-absorbed and ongoing effort to take one self-portrait per week for one year. This week we are reading Eeee Eee Eeee by Tao Lin and we plan to let you know what we think soon. Like real soon. No really, we mean it. In the interim we invite you to follow this project in its entirety on the F

The new edition of This Zine Will Change Your Life is live and thinking about the end of the world. Or something like that.

The new edition of This Zine Will Change Your Life is live and thinking about the end of the world. Or something like that. We have a new poem, The End of The World by Luis Cuauhtemoc Berriozabal, which we are way excited about, and, as always, photo action from Adam Lawrence, a music selection from Jason Behrends and prose love from Pete Anderson. We hope you enjoy this edition and we appreciate all shout-outs and links. We also think you're special, but you knew that, right?

Reed. Walsh. And some very kind words for Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine.

Two wholly unique writers that we greatly admire here at TBWCYL, Inc. headquarters had some very kind words to say about Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine this week over at the Goodreads.

First, John Reed author of All the World's A Grave and Snowball's Chance wrote:

"Tanzer evokes what it is to be smart and puzzled, and full of ennui. A deft portrait of characters in mid-wander."

And second, William Walsh of Questionstruck fame and a contributor to This Zine Will Change Your Life said:

Tranny by Steve Lafler.

For those of you who have not imbibed on legendary comix dude Steve Lafler's earlier work, including the quite stellar 40 Hour Man and the quite killer BugHouse trilogy, please do, and in the interim please feel free to warm-up with his latest work Tranny, a loving homage to cross-dressing superheroes and the people who worship them.

An awesomely coincidental Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine (500) Days of Summer casting intersection.

Some time back we were asked to cast the still unoptioned, unscripted and unproduced move version of Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine by StoryCasting.com and when we did we couldn't imagine a more perfect pairing for the lead characters of Geoff and Jen than the very awesome Joseph Gordon-Levitt and the freakishly lovely Zooey Deschanel. Imagine our surprise and excitement than when we read about the new indie break-up "it" movie (500) Days of Summer starring none other than Joseph G

Safelight by Shannon Burke.

We just had the great pleasure of sucking down Shannon Burke's Safelight and while its thematically and even tonally similar to his excellent Black Flies, Safelight struck us as both sadder and tougher, with the level of compulsion and paranoia ratcheted way up and totally absorbing. This dude can really craft a story and we hope you will take a look, because it just might change your life. Like big time.
