Quit Fighting God!

Stop fighting God! However you are resisting and rebelling against Him, however you are holding back from obeying Him, however you are refusing to submit and surrender to Him, however you are going your own way instead of living life His way, however you are rejecting God and His will for your life, however you are procrastinating on doing what He has told you to do, STOP FIGHTING GOD!

Humble yourself before God almighty, cry out to Him in prayer, seek Him, read the Bible, keep crying out to Him...

My Dog Ate a Fruit Loop!

I was thrilled and so joyful as I watched paralyzed ministry dog Miss Mercy perched on her knees as she desperately and delightedly gobbled up a yummy orange Fruit Loop. The combination of decades of relentless struggles, an intense ministry, and a falling-apart world makes it such I am prone to forget to acknowledge, enjoy, and praise God for His goodness and endless blessings – right down to watching a paralyzed dog excitedly gobbling up a Fruit Loop.

Apology, Update & Prayer

Hi everyone,

Please forgive me for sending out so little of my Good News Daily Devotional over the past few months during this incredibly challenging, totally unexpected, and wildly beautiful season of my life.

Scary Snake Story

I hate snakes, am scared of snakes, and have had too many close calls with snakes including the poisonous kind. Imagine my surprise when visiting my Aunt in her new senior facility independent living when the maintenance man came over and warned us to stay away from a certain area where there was a poisonous copperhead snake.

My Aunt informed me the location was where we had just walked through! God had protected us from a dangerous encounter!

Will You Do This In Your Trials?

“Will you be thankful even in the midst of a trial?” the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart.

Oh my! My life has been filled with relentless trials, I am in a grueling one even as I write this, and then came God’s question.

God is growing me through it all, and He is testing me concerning something He has taught me.

We are to be thankful to the Lord at all times.
