Showing God You Love Him
In this self-centered world, we tend to be very focused on God’s amazing love for us, but God’s greatest command is to love HIM with all our hearts and we should give serious consideration to whether and how we are continually expressing our love to Him IN OUR HEARTS, IN OUR WORDS, and IN OUR ACTIONS.
Jesus makes clear those who love Him are to obey Him (John 14:15), but how delighted I was one day when the Holy Spirit led me to Psalm 100 and showed me 6 more ways in that relatively short psalm ...

Victorious Vessel for God!
What comes to mind when you read the following verses? Please read them, and then read on!
“And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” Luke 22:31-32 KJV
Never in a million years did I believe years ago when someone pointed out these verses to me that I would ever have any victory in my life and most certainly not enough if I had ...
Be Thankful, Don’t Complain!
“Be thankful, don’t complain,” the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart. I had just woken up, had not gotten a great night’s sleep, and still groggy had begun to think about a situation in which a loved one was hurting me once again. Ouch. Big ouch.
As many times as the Lord over the years has reminded me to NOT think about certain things, to take those thoughts captive (2 Cor. 10:5), and to think about the things He tells us in the Bible to think about, I was definitely on the wrong path. The Lord was...
Having a Hard Time?
One day I wrote someone with some encouragement I am strongly led to share with you now about the hard stuff in our lives which I believe we all experience at times to one degree or another. Some seem to go through harder stuff than imaginable for much if not most of their lives. Others a more moderate amount. Still others seemingly much less. But we all face challenges at one time or another, don’t we?
“I’ve been through many struggles and continue to, but through it all the Lord has brought me...

Apology: Dog Wheelchair Donations
I would like to apologize to those who made donations for paralyzed ministry dog Miss Mercy’s new pink wheelchair. First, thank you so much for your love & generosity! Second, I am sorry to let you know the wheelchair was very low quality & additionally had multiple problems. A very kind hotel worker where I currently am for my ministry work graciously spent several hours along with another worker advising and a hotel guest offering to help trying to make the wheelchair work. But I felt it unwis...
Serving God – with LOVE
I am sad to confess I spent most of my time in the working world back long ago when I had paid positions and wasn’t a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ and didn’t have my ministry with a terrible work ethic. I picked jobs to please me and to make money. End of story. My motive was to satisfy self in one way or another.
I did everything from going out drinking with co-workers to getting into a relationship with a married man “getting divorced” to spending my time at work running up their long dis...

Loving All
If you read the following verse too quickly, you might miss a vitally important word in it concerning love. Please see if the word stands out to you as it stood out to me one day thanks to the Holy Spirit who lives inside God’s followers and whom God promises will teach us.
“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” John 14:26 KJV
“Hearing of thy lov...
Pray Don’t Interfere!
Once again I was thinking about some loved ones and the needs I felt they had and how exactly I felt I could and should “intervene” to help. Of course I needed to come to the rescue, right? After all, someone needed to help and of course it should be me. Or so I thought in my pride and in my worry about the people. In my flesh apart from God. In my sin.
But before my thoughts went too far and I became any more distracted from my day’s work for the Lord, He “intervened” not with them but with me!...

Your Story Isn’t Over
Every one of us has a life’s story, and if we’re alive and breathing right now, which I am as I write this and you are as you read this, our stories aren’t over yet.
Whether the Lord gives us only a few more breaths or decades more time on this earth or somewhere in between, we still have our stories to live out on this earth. Just how will we live them? Will we live them for self, or will we live them for the Lord Jesus Christ?
Will we live out the rest of our stories according to the world’s w...
Cloned Christians
When I realized several women attending the same Christian fellowship were praying just like one another, and in a bit of an unusual not-so-typical way, I didn’t think too much of it. But not long afterward this message came to me – about cloned Christians.
Let’s be careful, friend. We’re not to be cloned Christians. We’re not to grow in each other’s image and look, sound, and be like every other Jesus follower. We’re to grow in God’s image. And God created each of us uniquely to love and worshi...
