Enjoyed my visit to the Goa Arts and Literature Festival (GALF) 2019.
Sun-burnt, but happy to have shared my poetry and translations.
Glad to have met old friends, make some new. Missed many, but happy to have met those present! Grateful to this soul-nourishing experience of perspectives, and walks-of-life.
My visit to the Vagdevi Literature Festival, Odisha was an eventful 2-days, enjoying a palette of poetry, meeting old and new friends, slurping crab curries, and a short trip to the Konark sun temple.
Gleeful to read my poem ‘Transmogrified’ in Gujarati, translated by Udayan Thakker, published in the 312th issue of the bi-monthly journal ‘Kavita’, now in its 52nd year of publication!
Glad that my poems feature in ‘Modern English Poetry by Younger Indians’ [edited by Sudeep Sen | published by Sahitya Akademi (Indian Academy of Letters)] – an anthology of 70 poets in their 40s.
I’m looking forward this November-end, early-December 2019 to the launch of Red River Publication’s Book of Haibun | Volume 1 | Edited by Steve Hodge and Paresh Tiwari.
Two of my haibun feature in it.
It’s the artwork of the book to glee over. What when the editor himself is an artist!
So glad that dynamic publishers are much-supporting the form of haibun!
