‘Paper Asylum’ – shortlisted at the Rabindranath Tagore Literary Prize 2020
Very glad that my book ‘Paper Asylum’ (Copper Coin) is shortlisted at the Rabindranath Tagore Literary Prize 2020.
The jury says – ‘Rochelle Potkar is selected for her elegant haibun tackling subtly the intimacy of everyday womanhood.’
It’s a high for the hybrid form of haibun too. Also, thanking my associates and well-wishers – too many to name – for having faith in me.
This is for us!

Poetry Live with Kitab Khana (Lockdown logbooks)

Dear Friends,
You are welcome to the hearings, with or without red herrings.

I’m thinking about the power of love during lockdown.
Romantic poems that earlier faded against other themes, these days seem like the only recourse.
