November 1, 2014 brings in a lot for me and to me

I will be heading to Hyderabad to participate in the launch of three books and one new literary magazine:

‘I Muse…’ a collection of Gita Iyengar’s poems. I will be reading a few of Gita’s poems.

Neesah, a new literary magazine co-edited by Nivedita and myself.

Neesah is a bimonthly e-magazine that will gradually have an annual print issue. Neesah explores the different sections associated with the Book.  Along with writers and poets, articles, unique bookstores that love the ‘book’ dearly, book reviews, the backbone of the publishing industry: editors, illustrators, cover designers will be featured.

Neesah means new beginnings. For our launch issue, we had a melange of stories, poetry, book store review, book reviews, article with a underlying theme as ‘newness’. Neesah wishes to connect everyone associated with the Book to understand each other’s work.
