And when a series of mysterious events occur around the castle, Cait, Bud, and Cait’s sister Sian tackle the case of The Corpse with the Sapphire Eyes, attempting to solve the mystery before another sinister event can ruin their destination wedding.
My thoughts:
I have not read the other books in the series, but there was enough of the back stories to make this a stand alone. You will not be lost. Cait and Bud only have Cait’s sister as a wedding guest. When they find a corpse at the foot of the stairs and the weather not cooperating and taking out the bridge it prevents the marriage taking place as they can not arrive or any help for that matter.
I was taken in from the very beginning the clues that Cait finds keep you glued to the book you do not want to put it down. As they try to solve the murder and find treasure. you will not be disappointed in this book at all. The author does as great job. I will be checking out the other books in this series.

My thoughts:
The books was very informative. What I like most was the yoga poses with the descriptions made it easier to understand and move on. The recipes in the book are wonderful and easy to make. The pictures and instructions are very easy to follow. This is a beginners guide and well worth it. My family has enjoyed a few of the recipes so far their favorite is the Apple Chips very easy to make and doesn’t take long either.
Be prepared to throw away some things if you are indeed ready to eat healthier for yourself and your family. It was hard at first but you can do it and this book will help that process.

was born in a small town in Kentucky. My family began poor, but worked their
way to owning a restaurant. My mother was one of the best cooks I have ever
known, and she instilled in all her children the value of hard work, and
education.
Taking after my mother, I’ve always love to cook, and became pretty good if I
do say so myself. I love to experiment and my unfortunate family has suffered
through many. They now have learned to steer clear of those dishes. I

My thoughts:
T.J. Kline is one of my favorite western romance authors. I have read Runaway Cowboy and it was brilliant writing just like Heart’s Desire. The characters worm their way into your heart and you want to find out if the happy ending comes along.
Jessie’s brother asked his best friend from college Nathan to help her out as her finances has been depleted from changing the dude ranch into a horse rescue. What her brother doesn’t know is Nathan hurt her a few years ago when he left with no word. No one knew about their romance. She doesn’t want him back into her life as she has never forgiven him for waking away.
Nathan doesn’t understand how much he had hurt Jessie as he has no clue why she is so upset. This makes Jessie even more mad when she sees him. She knows the spark is still there but they will have to rebuild their trust and see where things go.
Another great book from a talented author.

Nathan pushed open the door to his cabin and carried Jessie into the kitchen, turning backward to slide her rear onto the tile counter. He turned around and moved between her thighs, grasping her buttocks and pulling her against him, leaning down until his lips were only inches from hers. Her eyes flutter closed, her dark lashes laying against her cheeks, waiting for his kiss.
“I need a drink. You want something?” He dropped a quick kiss on her full lips and went to the refrigerator. Grasping the neck of two beer bottles, he held one out for her.
Slightly confused, she blinked her eyes a few times. “What?”
“A drink.” He popped the top from his with an opener and took a long swallow of the beer as if demonstrating. “Yes? No?”
She looked almost irate before she quickly masked it, narrowing her eyes before smiling at him. He could see she was trying to get a read on his sudden change of mood. “Sure.”
Jessie hopped down from the counter and took the second bottle from his hand. Sliding her hand over his, she slipped the opener from his fingers before popping the cap and flipping it onto the counter. She tipped her head back and took a long draw from the bottle as he watched. Hunger curled through him, tightening his need into a throbbing ache centered under the ridiculous belt buckle he’d purchased.
With nearly a third of the bottle gone, she tipped it upright and licked the amber liquid from her lips. “Oops, look at that. I spilled.” She brushed a hand over the front of her shirt and he almost groaned out loud. Sure enough, there was a small wet spot just over her right breast.
His mouth went dry when he realized what she was doing. Damn woman is playing with fire.
She set the bottle on the counter and, before he could stop her, she yanked her shirt over her head, tossing it at his face. He caught it with one hand and was hit with the sweet scent that was uniquely hers—hay and horses mixed with sunshine and vanilla. Nathan followed her into the sitting area where she sat on the arm of the couch, waiting for him with a half-smile curving her lips. He refused to let her see how she was affecting him, not until she lowered the barrier she’d erected around herself.
He made his way to the other end of the couch and flopped onto the soft leather sofa, his eyes never leaving hers. Nathan wasn’t sure how long he could hide this overwhelming desire. His jeans were already painfully uncomfortable, and his fingers itched to touch her.
“You in a hurry?” He saw her smile falter again. It happened every time he didn’t react the way she expected him to. He was finding that the trick to getting Jessie to let down her guard was to keep her guessing. “You promised me in the shower we could take it slow, remember? We never did.”
“This isn’t slow, Wall Street. This is a crawl.”

My thoughts:
I have to be the first to say I love this author. I have never read anything by her until now.
Allie McMurphy owns the Historic Hotel and Fudge Shop on gorgeous Mackinac Island. July 4th comes along and everyone is enjoying the festivities until the fireworks warehouse is blown up with the man Allie hired to take care of the display. It looks like sabotage but is it?
With fireworks and Mal Allie’s wonderful dog you will be kept guessing until the end of who done it in this great mystery.
I will be looking for other books by this author as she does a wonderful job with the story and characters.

My thoughts:
A Heart’s Obsession is book two in the Journey of the Heart series by Colleen Coble. The story takes places where where A Heart’s Disguise left off. Sarah and Rand’s story. Sarah is trying her best to win Rand back and out of the clutches of the commander’s daughter Jessica which will not be easy. Will then end up together. Or will Ben and Jessica stand in the way?
Again another great story by the author and this can be read as a stand alone but I would recommend reading the books in order. A great series.
