My thoughts:

I loved this book!  This is the second time I have read a book by this author and fell in love with her writing.  She has a way of grabbing you into the book from the first page. I have read book 2 in this series and now this one as book 4.  I need to get book 1 and book 3.

Vivian is returning for a wedding and finds a great story to boot.  She gets on the plane and who is her seat mate good old Chance the man that broke her heart.  Chance was just as much in shock when he looked up into the eyes that had made him feels things long ago.  He comes up with a plan for them to act like they are together so his meddling aunt will leave them alone while they are in town for his father’s wedding.  Vivian goes a long with it but can’t trust her heart.  She is still in love with him but knows he will block her.

The family has other ideas along with her friends on meddling to get these two back together.

The story is funny at times and the characters are great.  You won’t feel left behind if you pick up this book to read first.  You will get some back ground info to help.

My thoughts:

This was a cute Amish romance.  Aubrey doesn’t know if she is going to partake in Rumspringa as her sister Emma has up and left.  She ran off and is now in NY what her family and Jamie doesn’t know, Emma writes Aubrey letters.  Aubrey really likes Jamie who has moved to town recently.

Jamie knows she is hiding something but continues to get to know Aubrey as he really likes her. When he finds out the truth he is upset and slowly gets over it but worries she will leave like her sister did.  The whole community feels the same way and even whispers about it.

A surprise happens ( don’t want to spoil anything ) and Aubrey has to make a choice that might make Jamie rethink his love for her.

The authors do a great job with the book, there are some typo’s and grammar issues that can be easily fixed.  The story continues to book 2 which I will be looking for.  I want to know how this couple does.  A very interesting read.

I was able to review these patches from Tomoson.  I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.  I have never used the patches just have taken the pill.  I was surprised only have the patch on for a few hours I had more energy than I usually did before.

How do develop your characters? Do you use outlines, story boards, sketches?

KATE: Interestingly I’ve never thought about using sketches, despite the fact that I’ve always enjoyed drawing and painting. Thank you for the idea, though. I might have to try it! To answer the question, I have a general idea of what my characters look like, their traits and beliefs, when I start the book, but they evolve and grow as my writing progresses. The only guide I use for my writing is the book proposal or synopsis, but I can always visualize quite clearly what my characters look like, and have a good appreciation of how they will behave in specific circumstances.

She lived in four countries and spoke five languages before settling down in Canada again to attend university. After graduating with a degree in civil engineering, she held a variety of positions in the field of real estate development and operations, and ran three substantial organizations. While her writing during this period was mostly business related, including presentations and speeches she delivered both nationally and internationally, her passion is and always has been fiction.

Kate’s business and personal experiences enable her to write fiction with a deep, often first-hand knowledge of what she is writing about. This approach makes Kate’s stories richer and more vivid.

My thoughts:

I have not read the other books in this series but this is a stand lone read you won’t be lost or feel like you have missed out of anything.

This book was fantastic the clues where well done  and there are several to keep you guessing and the characters were great.  Antonio must have had an allergy and someone has hidden his meds.  Willow and her friends Dora, Ashley and Hayley try and figure out what is going on.

Willow had more than just a murder to solve she wants to know what is up with Loretta and Clay.  Maybe they are more than just friends.

I will be reading more books by this author.
