When I was seven, I decided I wanted to be an artist and a writer. I thought it would be an excellent way of finding out more about the world. It has since been a fine journey in staying balanced, making connections, and continually learning something new. I'm very happy to have such a creatively rewarding and fulfilling occupation.

I write children's books, YA books, NA books, graphic novels, and romance books, and I have a Sunday comic-strip 'The Smartist'; if you haven't seen it yet, you should. I'm deeply interested in art, boo

So, ahem, be warned. Don't ask me such questions.

Seriously, I do two other things. I milk the situation by writing about it - http://www.maysuninc.com/articles/wri... – and I work on several projects simultaneously. So if I get stuck on one, I leave it for the moment and move on to another.

Finishing another thing generally gives me the energy and enthusiasm to return to work more effectively on the previous one. Unless, of course, it's a complete dud that needs to be abandoned for the continuing good of humankind.(less)

The Sunshine Time - Season 1 Episode 1 by Sonal Panse
“Granna carried a card in his pocket that said ‘Travish Zarafshan is deaf and mute and doesn’t know sign language,’ and every time the military police stopped him in the street to check his ID, he showed them that. He got a real kick out of doing that too, but Nana didn’t at all find it amusing.”

“I had looked at him and the surrounding noise faded away and time seemed to come to a standstill. And in that moment of crystal clear clarity, I had known with unwavering certainty that whatever beckoned in the future, he was going to figure in it. Our destinies were irrevocably intertwined. It was not rational, it was electrifying.”

“An uneventful, quiet life together is more my idea of a romance.”

“Really? Oh. Well. It won't get you featured in any of the ballads though.”

“Yes,” he said, with a heavy sigh. “And that will be the great tragedy of my romance.”
Sonal Panse, The Sunshine Time: Season 1 Episode 2

“Who’s it?” said Conor Larkin, appearing in the adjoining balcony, followed by Ricky and Jason.

“The Turtle from the Train Station,” said Guy.

Right, I thought, that’s the impression I made. He remembers me as an honorary member of the reptile family.”

Sonal Panse Hi Nandakishore,

Nice to meet you. I've just been browsing through your bookshelves. You seem to read a lot on the Third Reich. Two writer recommendations if you haven't already read them - Victor Klemperer and Hans Fallada.

Best,

Sonal

Nandakishore Mridula Thanks for accepting my request. :)
