Feature Friday – Monstrous Matchmaker

Feature Friday at KellyApple.com

ARI’S BACK! And she’s ready to spread her special gift of love to everyone who gets too close. (Which sounds a little alarming and like maybe she should go to the doctor or something, but it’s ALL GOOD, MY FRIENDS! All good.)

*ahem* Monstrous Matchmaker follows Ari as she works on hooking her monstrous friends up with the honeys of their dreams.

You know how it is…she’s part of a couple so she thinks EVERYONE should be part of a couple.

Fortunately for her, her friends are okay with that. Mostly. There might be a feeeeewwwww who dig in their feet a bit, but they all end up in their happy place and that’s what this series is about, right?

RIGHT!

(Psst. This cover is getting an overhaul in the next few weeks [hopefully], so it better matches the style of the Monstrous Revelations cover. STAY TUNED!)

Looking Back on May

Looking Back on May at KellyApple.com

(My friend thinks it’s funny that I always start these posts with an OMG! WHERE DID THE MONTH GO? and I don’t want to disappoint so…)

HOLY WHAT? WHERE DID MAY GO, PEOPLE?

Seriously. These months are flying by and I’m side-eyeing them hard because I don’t always get the things done I think I’m going to get done, but SUCH IS LIFE.

Anywho. May. It was here, now it’s gone. I did things in May. Things I’m pleased about.

To start with, Monstrous Revelations: The Complete Series went live at the end of the month. YAY! I’m LOVING on the cover, btw, and plan on (definitely) giving Monstrous Matchmaker: The Complete Series an overhaul to better match the style of this one and (possibly) taking a look at Monstrous Tales: The Complete Series to see if it should be redone just so they have a cohesive look.

Part one of the spin-off series for Cin and Vane is well underway, too. I don’t have release dates for that series (of a series name or a titles), but it’s IN PROGRESS and that gladdens me greatly.

Keep an eye on this site for the updated Monstrous covers (coming soon, I hope!) and tidbits on the new series in progress.

Here’s to a productive month!

Feature Friday – Monstrous Tales

Feature Friday at KellyApple.com

To celebrate the release of Monstrous Revelations: The Complete Series (OMG! IT’S HERE!), we’re going  waaaaayyyyy back to Ari’s beginning this week.

The Wicked Woods kicks off our girl’s monstrous adventures. Ari meets her hunky green monster-man and gets to experience the supernatural world in allllll it’s glory. You know what they say: Once you go tentacles, you never go back.

I’m kidding. Nobody says that except me.

Anywho. Ari’s sexual liberation through the supernatural community goes on to encompass a werewolf (Michael!), a dragon (Max!), a merman (Thisseral!), a naga (Jerinth!), a minotaur (Akakios!), a gargoyle (Vane!), a sasquatch (Lon!), and then circles back around to a gathering of her newfound friends and the monster who started it all–her green honey bear.

Ari’s a bit of a hyperactive mess at times, but she figures things out and manages to save the love of her life and make a WHOLE BUNCH of really great friends in the process. She also finds out that she’s not exactly a run-of-the-mill human like she thought she was.

GOOD TIMES!

Monstrous Tales: The Complete Series is the only book in the Monstrous series that contains bonus story-ettes that can’t be found in the serialized parts. While I loved adding extras into the Complete Series, I started writing Series Shorts that I added to the site for everyone to enjoy and never quite got around to making exclusives for the other two complete series. Whoops. Live and learn, right?

Right.

So. Monstrous Tales: The Complete Series. See how it all began.

Waiting on Monstrous Revelations: The Complete Series? Well, it’s HERE!

GUYS! Monstrous Revelations: The Complete Series is HERE!

FYI, there’s no additional content in this bad boy, it’s just the eight parts of the MR serial compiled into one book. So if you’ve read the serial, there’s nothing new here.

Except that cover. OMG, THAT COVER!

(Seriously, I kinda love this cover and it totally highlights how badly Monstrous Matchmaker: The Complete Series needs a new cover, thankyouverymuch.)

Anywho. The Monstrous cycle is now complete. You can read Ari’s story from beginning to end whenever you want.

Annnnd…I might have started on Cin and Vane’s spinoff book. *bats lashes*

Arabella Colton might be just a flighty nymph, but she grew up believing she was mortal and that puts her more in touch with the world than any of her supernatural friends. She can see the world getting smaller every day and she knows it’s only a matter of time before the supernaturals hiding (in plain sight and otherwise) are outed.

What’s a nymph to do when the monsters she loves are in danger? She goes on the offensive, of course. She’s going to force humanity to accept her friends whether it’s ready for the revelation or not.

Feature Friday – Hard Wired

Feature Friday at KellyApple.com

And now we’re up to Eugene’s book. Eugene. Heh. That guy!

True story, this story was originally written as a pick-me-up during one of the NaNo months. I would write a couple hundred words (basically a scene) after getting my actual words in for the day and share it with my writing group.

Raw. Totally unedited. Off the wall bonkers sometimes. It was…ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous. And, MAN, did I have fun writing it.

I shelved it after finishing it and picked it up a month or so later and realized that I liked the story about Eugene, the dude who masturbates so much he turns into a hairy computer yeti. So I rewrote a few scenes and worked it into the Pinnacle Point world and…EUGENE!

This guy still makes me laugh.

Hard WiredHard Wired

(Pinnacle Point #4)

Amazon

Release Date: March 16, 2016

Pages: 42

Genre: Monster Erotica

Eugene Turner could be the poster child for the socially awkward. In real life, his pick-up lines always fall flat and he’s more of a laughter generator than a stud.

Which is why he prefers spending most of his time hooking up with the lovely ladies he meets online instead of prowling the bars for a real-life honey. When he’s wired in, he has women begging for his attention and enough naughty pics sent to him to keep him happy night after night.

An unexpected betrayal, a transformation of epic proportions, and a meeting he never expected could give Eugene everything he never knew he was missing. As it turns out, there’s someone out there for everyone when you live in Pinnacle Point. Eugene is proof of that.

Warning: This book contains a man who can’t keep his hands out of his pants. Or his pants on. Or pictures of himself off the internet. Some people have all the fun.

Looking Back on April

Another month gone by. What the what?

It was an exciting month, too. Why? Monstrous Changes, the final book in the Monstrous Revelations series, came out which boggles me a bit. I mean, there’s a whole lot of parts to the Monstrous saga and it’s done now. It’s DONE.

I almost don’t know what to do with myself.

Next up, a few cover redesigns (Monstrous Matchmaker neeeeeeds a facelift. For real.) and compiling Monstrous Revelations into a complete set so you can pick up Ari and read her from cover to cover with nary a hitch. Or something.

Then? I don’t know. Maybe a weird little sci-fi romance story. I’m not 100% sure about that, though, but POSSIBLY.

Stay tuned!

Feature Friday – Future Perfect

Feature Friday at KellyApple.com

OMG, guys. THIS BOOK. You might have heard me make a couple jokes over the years about how now my family and friends won’t have to listen to me muse about whether a threesome is really a threesome if two of the people involved are the same person. While that may be slightly incorrect because I STILL think about it sometimes, THIS IS THE BOOK THAT LET ME EXPLORE THE POSSIBILITY.

Seriously, my BFF Amanda used to have to listen to me go on about it ALLLLL THE TIME!

I’d apologize, but I’m not even sorry.

Because time travelling threesomes are AWESOME.

AWWWWWESOME.

Just ask Logan Harker!

Future PerfectFuture Perfect

(Pinnacle Point #3)

Amazon

Add on Goodreads

Release Date: February 10, 2016

Pages: 44

Genre: Futuristic Erotica

Three years ago, Logan Harker quit his job and moved sight unseen to Pinnacle Point. With his cousins living there already, it seemed like a no-brainer.

Somewhere along the way, the no-brainer turned into a WTF?!? With one cousin now haunting the local hotel and the other a sex-crazed zombie, Logan’s wondering if it’s time to hang up his pocket protector and get out of Dodge. He’s all set to turn in his resignation when a new project crosses his desk. Unable to resist, Logan throws himself whole-heartedly into one last, mind-bendingly complex algorithm.

Given he’s planning on leaving, Logan doesn’t expect to see any results. When he comes face to face with a future version of himself it’s a shock. Finding out he’s a bona-fide sex machine in the future blows his mind. Having his future-self lure an intern into a threesome with him is beyond believable.

Faced with the incontrovertible truth of his perfect future self, Logan has to decide if leaving Pinnacle Point without exploring all the possibilities it has to offer is something he’s willing to do. Throwing away this potential future seems downright wrong to his mathematical mind.

And Logan is nothing if not thorough about his calculations.

Warning: This book contains a threesome. Kind of. I mean, is it really a threesome if two of the people are the same person? You’ll have to decide that on your own.

Feature Friday – Dead Sexy

Feature Friday at KellyApple.com

All right. Where to start with Zane’s story…

I knew book 2 in this series was going to be called Dead Sexy and I knew it was going to be about a zombie who was, well, dead sexy. He’s also a bit of a dirty talker, but that evolved as I started writing him.

Basically, Zane’s story started because I wanted to write a book about a zombie who wasn’t gross and decaying. He’s just a dude who was dealing with some pretty big life changes after being bit. He happens to be a zombie. He happens to be perfect as a body guard because he’s nigh on indestructible.

Did I mention he has a thing for the lady he’s body guarding?

A big thing, if you know what I’m saying.

Anywho. Zane and Maisie. He’s Chance’s cousin (thus how the Harker Collection bundle got its name) and he’s just as oddly supernatural as Chance. Because this is Pinnacle Point, the place where odd supernatural things come home to roost.

Here’s to the sexy zombie!

Dead SexyDead Sexy

(Pinnacle Point #2)

Amazon

Add on Goodreads

Release Date: January 13, 2016

Pages: 39

Genre: Monster Erotica, Paranormal Romance

When his ghostly cousin tells him there’s an open position at the PI firm where he works, Zane Harker jumps at the chance. There aren’t many places willing to hire a zombie and being dead hasn’t stopped the bills from piling up.

His new gig has a lot of perks, not the least of which is his current job guarding the delectable Maisie Banks after she receives death threats for her PR campaign to lure supernaturals to the small town of Pinnacle Point. The feisty brunette is a handful who spends her days arranging photo shoots of half-naked couples for her next PR push.

He might be a zombie, but spending day in and day out watching beautiful people make out for the camera reminds him his libido is alive and kicking. And Maisie doesn’t seem the least disgusted by his lack of a pulse. If anything, he thinks it makes her like him even more.

He might have a job to do, but no one said he couldn’t enjoy himself while doing it.

Warning: This book contains a zombie. Not a gross one. A gorgeous one. And just because he doesn’t have a properly beating heart doesn’t mean he can’t perform admirably. Maisie certainly doesn’t have any complaints.
