Like reading? Have I got a read-a-thon for you!

Ohmigosh! It’s almost time for the 2nd of the 3x yearly Bout of Books read-a-thon! What’s that? you ask. WELL! It’s just a week long readathon where you read as much as you can (or just read WHEN you can if life gets in the way) while connecting with other book lovers!

ISN’T THAT EXCITING?!?!?!

(I feel like I might be over exclamating, but, MAN, a week of books, books, and more books while talking about books with a bunch of other people who read books! HOW CAN YOU EXPECT ME TO REMAIN CALM?!?!?!)

Bout of Books 34 starts on Monday, May 9 and runs through Saturday, May 15. It’s super chill (seriously chill) and fun. (As a co-host of this glorious event, I’m not even saying that just to say it. I SINCERELY love Bout of Books week. There’s so much reading and bookish talk going on. It’s a blast!)

Feature Friday – Demon Restrained

This Friday, we’re going back to the beginning with Bas and Evie’s book. (And by “back to the beginning”, I mean this was the first book I mustered the courage to publish. BOY was that nerve-wracking.)

So. The captured demon and the abused werewolf.

This book contains:

a snarly demon who is NOT pleased to have been captured in the human worlda seriously beaten down werewolf who wants nothing more than to fade into the woodworka nasty spella little blood magica Happy For Now ending (although in my head they’re DEFINITELY a HEA)

Bas is not a happy guy when we meet him and Evie is a shadow of herself. Evie’s father is a massive jerk (SO MASSIVE) and the pack house has become a place of violence and pain.

Which sounds like a big downer, doesn’t it? Well, Bas and Evie connect on the sly and our girl finds the strength to help the big, snarly demon out of his predicament.
