When the gods wake, the impossible can happen…
For Cin Malone, wanting to know more about her gargoyle mate’s people seems like a no-brainer. Finding out Vane has a brother potentially living close by is the perfect opportunity for a road trip.
After all, spending time with her grumbly honey is no hardship and meeting family is part and parcel with the mate thing, right?
Who would have ever guessed that one innocent road trip would have the power to change the world. Plus, you know, there might be some curse breaking, some treasure finding, and the type of family reunion no one was expecting.
Warning: This book contains family. Not all of which is good. Fortunately for Vane, the good far outweighs the bad. Double fortunately, this road trip gives Vane and Cin the opportunity to connect in plenty of places, if you know what I mean.

Feature Friday – Dangerous Curves
OKAY. Book 2 in the Wicked Pride series gives us Luna (BFF of Cami) and Sam (NOT the BFF of Cami since he was kind of a jerk to her at some point in the undisclosed past). To say Sam made some not so great choices at one point in his life (and that he gets totally tongue-tied around the lovely Luna North) might be an understatement.
The dude has made a mess of things and getting to the point where Luna sees him as more than an irritating pride mate takes a little work.
Dangerous Curves features…
a determined woman who doesn’t see what’s right in front of heran equally determined male who has no idea how to fix his mistakesa stinker of a datea face off between a leopardess and a lionessLet the sparks fly!

Genre: Paranormal Romance
Samuel Delaney’s had a rough couple of months. Not only did he find out his mom works for the government in a job she stubbornly refuses to speak about, now he’s helping his alpha deal with a sudden influx of wolves after their alpha mated with one of the cats from his pride.
Most importantly, the leopardess he’s been half in love with his entire adult life is actively looking for a mate.
And Sam isn’t even a footnote on her list of potentials.
Convincing the lovely Luna North to give him a chance would be a hell of a lot easier if he didn’t get tongue tied whenever she was around. He’ll have to rely on his cat’s instinctive ability to land on its feet if he hopes to make any headway with the stubborn beauty.
Because when a lion chooses his mate, he doesn’t back down.
Ever.

Feature Friday – No Reservations
OH MAN. Cami and Bran. These two are a little OTT and VERY hot for one another. A cat and a wolf, who knew, right?
The original premise for this book was based on a prompt for an anthology that ultimately fell through. I LOVED Cami and Bran’s madcap date, though. So even though the anthology didn’t happen, I wanted to share these two with the world.
After a wickedly wild date, appropriately steamy sexy times, and a couple of background characters I couldn’t get out of my head, I knew there were going to be a few more books set in this world.
In other words, Cami and Bran were only the beginning.

Cami Patterson has the worst luck with men. Everyone in her pride knows it and they steer clear of her so they don't end up with a broken bone or two or, even worse, dead. Needless to say, when her best friend sets her up on a blind date with a werewolf visiting from out of town, she doesn't expect anything to come of it.
She certainly doesn't expect a night of non-stop excitement including thwarting a robbery, getting chased by the police, and almost causing an international incident. Who has time to enjoy themselves with all that going on? Or of hooking up with her sex-on-a-stick date?
Cami just might have met her match in the wolf who laughs in the face of danger and doesn't hesitate to jump in when there's a damsel in distress. Who knew it would take a wolf to brave this cat's run of bad relationships?

Feature Friday – Heart of Stone
The Monstrous series was SUPER fun to write and I enjoyed watching Ari mature (there was at least a little maturity there, I’m sure of it!), but I didn’t feel like I’d hit the end of the stories that could be told in her world after finishing Revelations. I mean, the monsters had been revealed and things were changing, but there was still so much more STORY that I could feel there.
You know, like Vane’s story. What was up with that guy? Mr. Broody McBroodypants had this whole THING going on and I wanted to know his backstory. I also really wanted to write a book that took us to different locales. Vane and Cin’s road trip sprang from that. I wanted them to jaunt around the country doing couple-y things while trying to come to terms with OTHER THINGS. Things in Vane’s past. THINGS.
There were also the issue of the magic Vane had access to I wanted to explore and the whole “turn to stone during the day” thing. Because I’m an equal opportunity HEA-er. I want all my couples to end up as happy as happy could be and these two being forced apart during daylight hours while Vane was trapped in stone didn’t sit well with me.
In the end, Vane and Cin gave us a little road trip, a little introspection, and a meeting or two with a god. Because why not? Ari might have started the change when she helped reveal the monsters to the world, but that change hasn’t ended yet.
MWAHAHAHAHA!

Feature Friday – Monstrous Revelations
(Heeeeyyyyy, everybody. I used to do a Feature Friday post every Friday to showcase books on my backlist and…I just stopped? For no reason? Like, I took a 6 month vacation and forgot to tell myself about it. Wow. Last year messed up my sense of time, didn’t it? Anywho…Feature Friday is back. Hopefully consistently. You know, provided my brain doesn’t take another six-month vacation again.)
So. Ari has come a long way since her first lusty steps into the supernatural world. She’s found love and acceptance and she’s strong-armed anyone near her into finding mates of their own. I’m only mostly kidding about that. Ari’s matches were pretty solid. Even the ones she didn’t actually facilitate, but claimed credit for anyway. *cough*Vane and Cin*cough*
At the end of the Matchmaker, I knew there was more coming. Mostly because I wanted those monsters out and proud and able to walk down the streets without skulking in shadows. Thus Revelations was born.
It was time, my friends. Time for those monsters to be revealed.
Honestly, this is Ari we’re talking about, so she’s a little haphazard in her planning, but she has a good heart and it ultimately leads her to where she needs to be. And it works. Her insistence that they, as a monstrous community, are stronger together is sort of the cornerstone of Ari’s philosophy about life. When they band together, they can do amazing things.
So she bands them. She ropes her monstrous friends in and makes a plan and THINGS HAPPEN.
Great things. Sexy things, too. Which is to be expected given this is ARI we’re talking about.

Arabella Colton might be just a flighty nymph, but she grew up believing she was mortal and that puts her more in touch with the world than any of her supernatural friends. She can see the world getting smaller every day and she knows it’s only a matter of time before the supernaturals hiding (in plain sight and otherwise) are outed.
What’s a nymph to do when the monsters she loves are in danger? She goes on the offensive, of course. She’s going to force humanity to accept her friends whether it’s ready for the revelation or not.

Monstrous Planning
Monstrous Rogues
Monstrous Acceptance
Monstrous Choices

Looking Back on 2020 (better late than never!)
Well. Here we are with a whole month of 2021 gone and I’m just getting around to taking a look at 2020. HA. Yeah. That should tell you EXACTLY how weird the end of the year/beginning of the year was for me. (Long story involving half my family getting Covid and me being in quarantine for…almost 4 weeks? WOW. Yeah. Anyway. Fun fact, when you live in the same house as someone who tests positive, you get EXTRA quarantine time to make sure you’re not unintentionally spreading anything to unsuspecting people. I’m a total homebody, guys, and that was starting to wear on me after that length of time.)
Anywho. 2020 was a weird year. NOT normal in the slightest. I was ridiculously non-productive for most of it for all I was home and home and home. There was a lot of home last year. SO MUCH.
That said, I did manage to get some books published. In fact, 2020 saw the release of SIX books. (Which is honestly sort of mind-boggling because I feel like I got NOTHING done last year.)
Stone’s End (Heart of Stone #4) – April 8
Gravel Bound (Heart of Stone #5) – August 10
Best Laid Stones (Heart of Stone #6) – September 14
A Stone’s Throw Away (Heart of Stone #7) – October 4
A Rock and a Hard Place (Heart of Stone #8) – November 1
Heart of Stone: The Complete Series – December 9
2021 is…well, it’s going to be a little different, genre-wise. Right now I have a sci-fi series in the queue. It’s sci-fi romance (because I love me some romance), but light on the sexy times. Which…I’m not sure how I feel about that. But the story wanted to be told the way it wanted to be told and while there are definite romantic elements, the sex stayed behind closed doors.
I’ll keep you updated on future release dates for those as they roll around. (To make a long story short, I need to make covers for this series and…HAHAHAHA. Covers. The bane of my creative existence at the moment.)
Here’s to a (much more) productive year!
