Growing Pains

Growing Pains

This can happen in your life as well when you try holding onto things that no longer serve or fit you. From the greatest life event to the seemingly insignificant, when you stop growing, you start shrinking.

Resist Perfection

Resist Perfection | Tracie Braylock
Perfection. The elusive, unobtainable ideal we too often strive for.

Perfection will paralyze you, leaving your goal out of reach, telling you your work isn’t good enough and that something is incomplete. There is no truth to this.

The Business of Being Born

Angry. Mortified. Saddened. I was flooded with all of the emotions while watching the documentary The Business of Being Born, and I was only 20 minutes in!

As a nurse I’ve had the honor of witnessing hundreds of births. Some natural, some with some form of medication and many, many c-sections. I’ve also given birth naturally to three of my own beautiful babies.

What disturbs me about the whole birthing process in our country is the lack of full disclosure. The sharing of all of the details re...

No matter the external situation, the level of chaos or the extent of confusion, all is calm and peace abounds in His presence.

I’m thankful for my relationship with God because no matter what this life brin...

Align Your Work with Your Purpose

Align Your Work with Your Purpose | Tracie Braylock

Do you have to drag yourself out of bed, out the door & into a place that you despise all for the sake of having a job to pay the bills?

That dream. That goal. That life. Yo...

3 Reasons Why You Must Love Yourself First

3 Reasons Why You Must Love Yourself First | Tracie Braylock

Love is generally thought of as an act or feelings demonstrated toward someone other than ourselves. We thrive from being loved, and healthful relationships make our lives more enjoyable.

When we try to give love, or anything else, to others and we have not taken the time to give this gift to ourselves...
