Reading Quirks

reading quirks

Because we bookish people are a weird bunch. I thought about this today, when before my Accounting class (sigh), I was hanging out with some friends. Well, they talked, I read. So, then, I get to a part of the book where after things being perfect for a while, it’s just so clear something bad’s gonna happen. I was lying on my back, but I suddenly sat up with an ‘I can’t do this!’ and put the phone away.

I don’t need to tell you about my friends’ stares. My best friend told the others that it...

No Time to Write and Too Much of It: No Way to Win

procrastinating

I used to complain I never had time to write. It was a time when my mother thought I spend too much time at the computer, so I had no other choice but to switch to paper. And… it was different. Words flowed more freely, but there was also this sense of non-permanency that bothered me to no end, because it wasn’t permanent. 9 out of 10 ten times, what I ended up typing in Word bore little ressemblance to the paper so I was often fed up about it.

Resources for Writers

I wouldn’t call myself a newbie anymore, but wouldn’t dare consid...

My Month in Movies: May Edition

mmm

A monthly recap of some of the movies I’ve watched this month with a very serious appreciation of each one :3 Jane Eyre

Jane Eyre

I went on a movie-watching spree a few weeks ago and because I’m such a literary person, loving of classics and all thingsBrontë, Austen and Dickens I decided to watch it.

Not at all because Michael Fassbender plays Rochester. Nope. I didn’t even notice him there.

I can say that Mia knows how to play the role of an obscure, litttle governess very well.

I do think that t...
