Taking a Break and Coming Back Fully Loaded!
Hello! I’m going to visit some relatives in the Pennsylvania area, *cough*my mom *cough*, and thus, I won’t be able to post for two weeks since I’m on college break. Relax, she does have a wifi, she just has an aversion to my spending more than an hour with a computer. Anyway! I will be active on twitter and not entirely lost because I’ll be taking the chance to BUY ALL THE BOOKS.
No, really, I even made a list

Writing About Other Cultures. Right or Wrong?
I’ve been seeing a lot of discussions about diversity, but more than that, the concepts of cultural appropiation vs cultural appreciation that are at play in literature. This is a very delicate topic, and I’m writing this in the hopes of learning about what other people think about this, even though I’m sure some could disagree.
My interest began from simple convos on twitter I skimmed through. Bottom line: It felt wrong to me that it was oh so bad for ‘white’ people to, let’s say, use anoth...

Flash Reviews: Contemporary Romances
There’s been a lot of books I’ve read recently that haven’t made it to a review blog post. Some I had so much to say about, but unfortunately, my blogging drive has ben sketchy at best! So, in hopes that some day I DO get to write a review for them, but also wishing this will placate that restless part of me that demands of them to have a rating, I’m doing this!

Bookshelf Tour
I have no braincells to come up with a discussion post topic, but I really didn’t want to write another review. So, I went to the official page for the discussion challenge, hosted by Nicole from Feed Your Fiction Addiction, and Shannon, from It Starts at Midnight. Luckily for me, Shannon had a few ideas for the zombies who stayed up most of the night watching a TV Show. *cough* Not that I did. *cough*
Doing a bookshelf tour seemed a pretty awesome idea to get out of my slump in a different...

5 TV Shows You Should Be Obsessing About
As awesome as books are, there will always be something about watching a story develop right in front of your eyes that doesn’t cease to be breathtaking. Movies and TV-shows offer story-telling a different dimension of awesome that books lack since we’re ‘limited’ by our imagination. Sometimes it’s nice to compare what our imagination came up with, with what other people’s did.
Last year was my year of TV-Shows! I fell hopelessly in love with a couple and can’t wait for the next seasons. Her...
