What to Do With Unused Ability

“When the master comes and finds the servant doing his work, the servant will be blessed.”

Luke 12:43 (NCV)

All of us have unused abilities. But there are three ways that you can start cultivating your abilities so they are being used for good and for God’s glory.

1. Estimate your abilities.
Do an assessment of your life. Do an audit of your abilities. What are you good at? Make a list. If there’s one thing I could say to young people today to prepare for their future, this is it: Know your strengths. Know your weaknesses. Consider the capabilities God has given you.

Parents, help your kids understand their SHAPE—their Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences. Your children have far more abilities than they think.

2. Dedicate your abilities.
Commit your abilities to God for the use he intended. Romans 12:1 says, “Offer yourselves as a living sacrifice to God, dedicated to his service and pleasing to him” (GNT). Say, “God, you gave me these abilities. Now I’m going to give them back to you. I want to use them for the purpose for which you gave them to me.”

3. Cultivate your abilities.
That means to practice, improve, sharpen, and develop. Any ability God gave you can be increased with use. The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 10:10, “If the ax is dull and its edge unsharpened, more strength is needed, but skill will bring success” (NIV).

How do you get skills? Practice. God says you need to sharpen your ax. A dull ax takes more energy. He says to work smarter, not harder. Sharpening your abilities—your aptitudes, your skills—is a spiritual responsibility.

God invested enormously in you. First, he created you. Second, he shaped you with spiritual gifts and personality. Then he sent Jesus to die for you. God made an incredible investment in your life! And one day he’s going to ask you, “What did you do with what you were given? How did you use your abilities to honor me, to serve others, to make a living, and to be an example? How did you use them to help other people?”

In Luke 12:43, Jesus said, “When the master comes and finds the servant doing his work, the servant will be blessed” (NCV). I want you to have that blessing. I want God to find you using your abilities in the ways that he intended.

Talk It Over

Take a few minutes to estimate your abilities. What are your strengths? What are your weaknesses?
What abilities have you not dedicated to God? What would it look like to dedicate them to him?

Every good thing you have is a gift from God. Take a few minutes to thank him for the abilities he’s given you. You can pray something like this: “God, I don’t even know all the abilities I have, but I thank you for them. Help me to discover them. Today I dedicate them back to you. I want to use what you’ve given me for your purposes. I want to cultivate my abilities. I want to get better at what I’m doing. I want to honor you by being the best I can be. I want to use my abilities to honor you, to serve others, to make a living, and to be an example. I want to use my abilities to have money to share with those who are poor and to help my church grow and reach out. Help me to make it so. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

El Mejor Sueño Para tu Vida

“Pues yo sé los planes que tengo para ustedes—dice el Señor—. Son planes para lo bueno y no para lo malo, para darles un futuro y una esperanza”. Jeremías 29:11 (NTV)

Antes de que nacieras, Dios ideó su sueño para tu vida. Pero muy a menudo en la vida nos enfocamos en nuestros propios sueños en lugar de lo que Dios ha planeado para nosotros. Creemos saber mejor que Dios lo que nos hará felices y plenos.

Efesios 2:10 dice: “Pues somos la obra maestra de Dios. Él nos creó de nuevo en Cristo Jesús, a fin de que hagamos las cosas buenas que preparó para nosotros tiempo atrás” (NTV).

Necesitas el sueño de Dios para tu vida más que tu propio sueño. ¿Por qué? Porque Dios te conoce mucho mejor de lo que te conoces a ti mismo. Y Él sabe cómo Su sueño para tu vida encaja en el plan más grande que tiene para el mundo. No puedes saberlo todo, y no puedes tener la perspectiva correcta todo el tiempo, pero Dios sí.

El sueño de Dios para tu vida consiste en las metas y los planes para los que te creó, y Su sueño es mucho más importante que tus propios sueños.

Dios no te ha prometido bendecir todo lo que se te ocurra. Probablemente no elegirías como sueño una vida “llena de buenas obras”. Seguramente se parecería más al sueño de mi infancia: ¡convertirme en una estrella de rock! Afortunadamente, ese no era el sueño de Dios para mí, y Él tenía algo mucho mejor reservado.

“Pues yo sé los planes que tengo para ustedes—dice el Señor—. Son planes para lo bueno y no para lo malo, para darles un futuro y una esperanza” Jeremías 29:11 (NTV).

Puede que hayas tenido algunos sueños que no fueron la elección correcta o algunos en los que te equivocaste. Tal vez pensaste que ibas a casarte con cierta persona. Pero ahora, mirando hacia atrás, te das cuenta de que habría sido un desastre. Tal vez tuviste que renunciar a un sueño y pensaste que sería tu fin. Pero ahora, mirando hacia atrás, ves que en realidad era sólo el comienzo de un sueño mejor de Dios para ti.

Cuando tengas que elegir entre tu sueño y el sueño que sabes que Dios te ha dado, elige siempre el plan de Dios. El sueño de Dios para tu vida siempre es bueno. Nunca te hará daño. ¡Te dará una gran esperanza y un futuro maravilloso!

Reflexiona sobre esto:

Piensa en un momento en que un sueño que tenías para tu vida resultó ser el plan equivocado. ¿Qué te enseñó acerca de depender de Dios?¿Cuáles son algunos sueños que crees que Dios tiene para tu vida? ¿Cómo te ha revelado esos sueños?¿Qué significa entregar tus sueños a Dios?

Si no has confiado en Jesús, ¿por qué esperar más?

Haz esta sencilla oración: “Querido Dios, sé que soy un pecador y te pido perdón. Creo que Jesucristo es tu Hijo. Creo que murió por mi pecado y que lo resucitaste. Quiero confiar en Él como mi Salvador y seguirlo como Señor, desde este día en adelante. Guía mi vida y ayúdame a hacer tu voluntad. En el nombre de Jesús hago esta oración. Amén”.

To Get More Passionate, Get Closer to God

“Look, I’m standing at the door and knocking. If anyone listens to my voice and opens the door, I’ll come in and we’ll eat together.”

Revelation 3:20 (GW)

God gave you a heart, and in your heart he placed passions, desires, and dreams. But unless they are under his control, they will be misused, they will be abused, they will be misapplied, they will be misdirected, and they will be wasted in your life.

All around the world, millions of passionate people have interests, dreams, and ambitions that are being misused and abused. And it breaks God’s heart. In spite of their talent and their passion, these people are unhappy—because when your passions are misused, it makes you miserable.

Some of you might be thinking, “I’m not really passionate about anything right now.” You know what that means, right? It means you are disconnected from God. You cannot be connected to God and dispassionate. When you are plugged into God, it’s like plugging into 220 volts. You get passionate!

God is a passionate God. The only reason you have emotions is because you’re made in his image. God is emotional. God gets jealous when he sees you ignoring him for something else. God has loved you with an everlasting love; no matter what you’ve done, he will always love you. That’s passion!

When you spend time with God daily and you get plugged into him, you can’t help but be passionate. You start to develop God’s heart for the world. You start to feel the way he does. Who you hang out with really does make a difference.

I can prove it with any teenager. Put a teenage kid with a group of dispassionate kids who are apathetic about everything, and that kid will become apathetic within a matter of weeks. Why? It matters who you spend your time with.

Would you like to have more energy in life? More enthusiasm? More get-up-and-go? Let me tell you where to get it. The word “enthusiasm” comes from the Greek words en theos—en meaning “in” and theos meaning “God.” When you get en theos—“in God”—you’re going to be enthusiastic. The closer you get to God, the more energy, vitality, and passion you will have in life. The further away you get, the more bored and apathetic you’ll become. You’ve got to open your heart to Jesus.

In Revelation 3:20, Jesus says, “Look, I’m standing at the door and knocking. If anyone listens to my voice and opens the door, I’ll come in and we’ll eat together” (GW). If you’re not a believer—or if you’re a Christian who’s wandered away from God—Jesus Christ is standing and knocking at the door of your life. But he’s a gentleman. He’s not going to bust the door down. You’ve got to open it up.

Talk It Over

How do the people you spend time with and the things you spend your time doing make you more or less passionate about God?
What are you passionate about? How can it bring glory to God?
What changes can you make to your schedule to help you prioritize a daily quiet time with God?

Will you follow Jesus today?

The Bible says you can only get to heaven by trusting in God’s Son, Jesus Christ. You can’t earn your way into heaven: “It is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9 NIV).

If you’re ready to commit your life to Jesus, start by praying this prayer:

“Dear God, you have promised that if I believe in your Son, Jesus Christ, everything I’ve ever done wrong will be forgiven, I will learn the purpose of my life, and you will accept me into your eternal home in heaven one day.

“I confess I have sinned, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus died to take away my sins and that you raised him to life. I want to trust Jesus as my Savior and follow him as Lord from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.”

No Cedas a tus Temores

“Él nos libró y nos librará de tal peligro de muerte. En él tenemos puesta nuestra esperanza, y él seguirá librándonos”.   2 Corintios 1:10 (NVI)

Dios te está cuidando, así que no escuches tus temores. Es una decisión que debes tomar. Confía en Dios y no caigas en tus temores.

2 Corintios 1:10  dice, “Él nos libró y nos librará de tal peligro de muerte. En él tenemos puesta nuestra esperanza, y él seguirá librándonos” (NVI).

La promesa de Dios a los creyentes es, que no importa lo que nos pase Él está trabajando  para nuestro bien —si lo amamos, si lo seguimos y si creemos en Él. La Biblia dice, todas las cosas trabajan juntas para bien— no es que todas las cosas son buenas pero ellas están trabajando juntas para bien.

Esto significa que podemos dejar de escuchar nuestros temores. No hay dificultad, dilema, derrota o desastre en la vida de un creyente que Dios no pueda sacar algo bueno. Entonces no hay necesidad de temer al futuro.

Tus temores revelan que no confías en Dios. Haz una lista de tus temores y pídele a Dios que te ayude a identificar por qué tienes temores en esas áreas. Luego pídele ayuda y reemplaza esos temores con confianza.

Ahora, el siguiente paso es muy importante. Espera que Dios empiece a ayudarte a aprender a confiar en Él en cada uno de tus temores. Luego verás como Él te ayuda.

Every Believer Has Spiritual Gifts

“There are different spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit gives them. There are different ways of serving, and yet the same Lord is served. There are different types of work to do, but the same God produces every gift in every person.”

1 Corinthians 12:4-6 (GW)

When you know who God has shaped you to be, then you know who you ought to be, and you can start focusing on how to make better use of your life.

The moment you step across the line spiritually and begin following Jesus, you say, “I’m going to go God’s way, not my own way. I’m going to let him direct my life. I want to follow God’s purpose, not my purpose. I’m going to do what I was wired and made to do.”

When you take that step, God also gives you four major gifts:

Forgiveness — Romans 5:15 says, “For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought death to many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of forgiveness to many through this other man, Jesus Christ” (NLT). The first thing Jesus does is to wipe out everything you’ve ever done wrong. It’s all forgiven! There is no condemnation.

Eternal life — God has long-range plans for you. The Bible says in Romans 6:23, “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (NIV). You’re never going to work your way or earn your way into heaven. The only way you’ll ever get into heaven is by God’s free gift that you accept by faith.

The Holy Spirit — Romans 5:5 says God “has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love” (NLT). How do you know when you’re letting God live through your life? When you embody the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Special abilities — In the Bible, these special abilities are called spiritual gifts, which makes them different from material or physical gifts. Most people who are believers don’t even know they’ve got spiritual gifts, much less what they are. But you have them!

The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 12:4-6, “There are different spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit gives them. There are different ways of serving, and yet the same Lord is served. There are different types of work to do, but the same God produces every gift in every person” (GW).

What is a spiritual gift? God has a purpose for your life, and your spiritual gifts are the equipment he gives you to do what he asks you to do. God will never ask you to do something he doesn’t give you the ability to do. God gives you your spiritual gifts the moment you accept Christ. You don’t get to choose your gifts, and you don’t earn your gifts.

Your gifts also are not for your benefit. Your spiritual gifts allow you to help other people. And other people can use their gifts to help you.

When I use my spiritual gift of teaching, you get blessed. When you use your spiritual gift, the people in your church get blessed. It’s like a puzzle. If one jigsaw piece is missing, what’s the first thing you notice? The one missing piece. When we develop and use our spiritual gifts, we all get blessed.

La Luz en los Tiempos Oscuros

“Fuimos oprimidos y agobiados más allá de nuestra capacidad de aguantar y hasta pensamos que no saldríamos con vida. De hecho, esperábamos morir; pero, como resultado, dejamos de confiar en nosotros mismos y aprendimos a confiar solo en Dios, quien resucita a los muertos”. 2 Corintios 1:8b-9 (NTV)

¿Sufrió Jesús? ¿Se sintió solo en ocasiones? ¿Fue tentado a desanimarse? ¿Fue incomprendido, difamado y criticado injustamente? ¡Claro que sí! Ninguno de nosotros está exento del sufrimiento, la soledad, el desánimo o la crítica injusta, porque Dios está desarrollando dentro de nosotros el carácter de Cristo, y, para ello, debe llevarnos a través de todas las circunstancias en la vida por las cuales pasó Cristo.

¿Esto significa que Dios causa tragedias? ¡No! Dios es bueno, y no causa el mal ni hace el mal. Pero Dios puede usar los tiempos oscuros y estresantes para el bien. Él los usará para enseñarnos a confiar en Él, para mostrarnos cómo ayudar a los demás y para acercarnos a otros creyentes.

La Biblia dice en  2 Corintios 1:8b-9, “Fuimos oprimidos y agobiados más allá de nuestra capacidad de aguantar y hasta pensamos que no saldríamos con vida. De hecho, esperábamos morir; pero, como resultado, dejamos de confiar en nosotros mismos y aprendimos a confiar solo en Dios, quien resucita a los muertos” (NTV).

Entonces, ¿qué debes hacer cuando estás pasando por momentos difíciles?

En primer lugar, negarte a ser desalentado. Después, recuerdas que Dios está contigo. Finalmente, dependes de la protección y guía de Dios.

Todos pasamos por momentos difíciles. La diferencia para aquellos que creen en Jesús no es la ausencia de la sombra, sino la presencia de la luz.

Be a Missionary in Your Workplace

“Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven.”

Matthew 6:20 (NIV)

No matter what you do for a living, you can use your workplace to further God’s Kingdom by using your business contacts to spread the Gospel and bring glory to God.

I once got a call from a German man who was the president and CEO of a major international sports apparel company. He said that he had just read The Purpose Driven Life and that it changed his life. He told me, “I’ve read this book, and I am now a Christian. I just need to know one thing: Should I resign as CEO of my company and become a pastor?”

I said, “No way! Let me show you how to use your job for the Kingdom, how to be a Kingdom builder and not just a wealth builder. Do you have an executive team?”

He said that, yes, there were six of them, and two of them were also Christians. I said, “Start meeting with those two and praying for the other three. Your first ministry is to win your three coworkers to Christ. How many employees do you have at your company?”

He said they had about 25,000. I responded, “That’s called a megachurch! You’ve got 25,000 members in your congregation. Start praying for them. Be available to them. Establish good Christian principles in your business.

“Do you want to influence other CEOs? Then you need to stay a CEO because you’ll have far more influence on them as a CEO than as a pastor or missionary.

“Would you like to influence culture? When you do celebrity endorsements with pro athletes, sit them down and tell them that you’re not just their sponsor; you are their friend. Give them your business card and tell them to call you whenever they have a need.”

In today’s global economy, the new missionaries are businessmen and businesswomen. Many countries won’t let a pastor or missionary in, but they’ll gladly welcome your business.

When you use your business for the one thing that’s going to outlast everything else—the Kingdom of God—you are being a Kingdom builder and not just a wealth builder.

There is nothing wrong with using your work to build wealth. But Jesus said in Matthew 6:20, “Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven” (NIV). The only way you can invest in heaven is to invest in people who are going there. When your work points people to God, you are storing up treasure in heaven to use for eternity and you’re advancing God’s Kingdom!

Take some time to pray for the people in your workplace. Ask God to help you see opportunities to minister to your coworkers and tell them about Jesus Christ.
How does your attitude toward your job change when you consider that God put you in your job to share the Gospel with your coworkers or employees?
What is one way you can use the wealth from your job to build God’s Kingdom?

Escudo de la Fe: Protección que el Dinero no puede Comprar

“Tomen el escudo de la fe, con el cual pueden apagar todas las flechas encendidas del maligno”. Efesios 6:16 (NVI)

Como seguidor de Jesús, tienes dardos de fuego que vienen hacia ti todo el tiempo. Entonces, ¿qué tipo de dardos de fuego están llegando a ti? Satanás implanta los siguientes pensamientos en tu mente:

Duda. Comienzas a preguntarte, “¿Ese es Dios realmente? ¿Puedo confiar en Dios totalmente? ¿Es solo eso mi interpretación?”Desaliento. Satanás te dice, “Tú nunca vas a conseguir nada mejor. Tu vida no va a cambiar. Ni siquiera lo intentes”.Demora. Uno se pregunta, “¿Por qué está tomando tanto tiempo?”. Cuando quieres que suceda algo y no ha sucedido hasta ahora.Dificultad. Uno se pregunta, “¿Por qué es tan difícil? ¿Por qué es tan difícil hacer que mi matrimonio funcione? ¿Por qué es tan difícil conseguir un trabajo?”.Depresión. Te dices a ti mismo: “No vale la pena”. Ni siquiera te da ganas de hacer un esfuerzo.

Todos estos dardos vienen a ti constantemente. Ellos crean inseguridad en tu vida. En tiempos de gran incertidumbre —como cuando estás sin trabajo o  estás pasando por una transición importante en tu familia— estos dardos de fuego volarán hacia ti más rápido. Es mejor estar preparado para ellos.

Pablo nos da el único antídoto adecuado para estos dardos de fuego: el escudo de la fe. La Biblia dice: “Tomen el escudo de la fe, con el cual pueden apagar todas las flechas encendidas del maligno” Efesios 6:16 (NVI).

¿Cómo puedes lidiar con estos dardos? Ponte el escudo de la fe. Es la única protección que tienes contra la duda, el desaliento, la demora, la dificultad, y la depresión. Confía en Dios, no importa lo que veas, escuches o sientas con respecto al mundo que te rodea. Necesitas la certeza de Dios cuando te enfrentas a la incertidumbre de los dardos de fuego de Satanás.

En resumen, tendrás que poner en duda tus dudas y creer en tus creencias. La mayoría de la gente hace todo lo contrario. Dudan de sus creencias y creen sus dudas. Eso es simplemente tonto. Cree lo que Dios te dice en su Palabra.

Vi una etiqueta hace muchos años que decía: “Dios dijo, yo lo creo, ese lo establece”. Puede ser un sentimiento agradable, pero es mala teología. La verdad es, “Dios lo dijo, y eso lo concluye, el que crea o no, no afecta”. La verdad de Dios no se basa en que tú lo creas o no. Sigue siendo cierto incluso si no lo crees, porque Dios no puede mentir.

Es necesaria esta clase de certeza en días difíciles. Con el escudo de la fe, tienes la certeza de que las promesas de Dios son verdad incluso cuando no parecen ser verdad en tu vida.

Cada vez que empiezas a creer en tus dudas y dudas de la Verdad, le dejas a Satanás una puerta abierta en tu vida, y él va a usar esa puerta para atacarte de muchas formas.

Jamás te puedes despegar el escudo de la fe, sin embargo, Pablo nos dice que debemos usarlo “en todo momento”. Satanás nunca dejará de lanzar sus dardos de fuego hacia ti pero mantén la guardia. Confía en Dios y su Palabra, sin importar lo que está pasando en tu vida.

El escudo de la fe es la mejor protección que el dinero no puede comprar.

God Uses Your Work to Develop Your Character

“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much . . . If you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own?”

Luke 16:10-12 (NIV)

The book of Genesis tells the story of a man named Joseph. God gave Joseph a vision of becoming a great leader, but for 40 years he lived and worked as a slave, and for much of that time he was imprisoned. Those decades were the testing ground of Joseph’s character.

When the day came and the time was just right, God pulled Joseph out of that setting and placed him in a position of power in Egypt—where he had always planned for Joseph to be. During all the difficult years of toil, God had been growing Joseph’s character and preparing him for his leadership role.

Whatever your work is—whether you’re working hard in obscurity or enjoying a position of power—God is developing your character too. In fact, God is far more concerned about who you are than what you do; he is much more interested in your character than he is in your career. Your workplace is a life course in character development.

Do you have a boss who drives you nuts? Think about this: God can use a boss who tests your patience—or a workplace that you’re unhappy in—to develop and grow your character. He plants seeds of love, joy, peace, and patience in your heart, and then he fertilizes those seeds while you work.

You may be at work and wonder, “How come this is going on? Why is this such a tough place? Why are these people picking on me? Why can’t I be happier at my workplace?” You’re basically asking the same question that Solomon asked in Ecclesiastes 1:3: “You spend your life working, laboring, and what do you have to show for it?” (GNT).

The answer is this: character. Life is preparation for eternity. You’re not going to take your career with you to heaven, but you are going to take your character. And while you are here on earth, God is developing your character and testing your faithfulness. Will you be faithful to do the right thing, even when you don’t feel like it? He’s watching to determine what kind of job he is going to give you in eternity.

Jesus said in Luke 16:10-12, “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much . . . If you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own?” (NIV).

Whatever work God has given you, be faithful to do it will. Remember, it’s more about your character than it is about your career!

La Paz: Destruye la Preocupación

“Prepárense poniéndose el calzado de anunciar las buenas noticias de la paz”. Efesios 6:15 (PDT)

El conflicto te hace un blanco fácil para los ataques de Satanás. No importa si tu conflicto es con Dios, u otras personas, o incluso contigo mismo; se abrirá la puerta para que Satanás te destroce.

Te convertirás en una presa fácil para sus planes. Se va a abrir cada área de tu vida a los ataques de Satanás.

Tú no quieres eso. Es por eso que el escenario del fin del mundo para muchos países, están enfrentando guerras en varios frentes. Si estás luchando contra ti mismo, los demás, o Dios, no se puede luchar contra lo que Satanás está haciendo en el mundo. No se puede luchar una guerra de varios frentes de manera efectiva. Tú nunca tuviste la intención de hacerlo.

Todos los niveles de conflicto hacen que te agites por ayuda y búsqueda de una base firme, como si estuvieras hundiéndote en arenas movedizas.

Es por eso que Pablo exhorta a los creyentes, “Prepárense poniéndose el calzado de anunciar las buenas noticias de la paz” Efesios 6:15 (PDT).

Los soldados romanos tenían tachuelas en la parte inferior de sus zapatos. Estos pequeños clavos ayudaban a conseguir un mejor agarre con sus zapatos, como tacos para los jugadores de fútbol. Sin ellos, los soldados se resbalaban y se deslizaban en la batalla. Ellos no serían capaces de mantener sus posiciones.

Sin ponerte “la paz que viene de las Buenas Nuevas”, también te resbalarías y te deslizarías en el camino de la vida. Pablo está escribiendo acerca de tres aspectos diferentes de la paz: con uno mismo, con los demás y con Dios. Se llama la reconciliación, y la necesitas en todas las áreas de tu vida. Si te despiertas cada mañana en paz contigo mismo, con Dios y con los demás, te encontrarás en una posición fuerte. Serás capaz de mantenerte firme contra los ataques de Satanás.

Satanás trata de atacar tu paz por medio de la preocupación. Podemos preocuparnos por nada. Podemos preocuparnos por nuestro futuro. Podemos preocuparnos por las finanzas. Podemos preocuparnos acerca de las relaciones. A menudo, nos preocupamos por lo que los demás piensan de nosotros. Cuando nos preocupamos, significa que un área de paz relacional está fuera de control. De hecho, la mayoría de las veces esto significa que estamos fuera de control en cada una de esas áreas.

Y eso significa que estás descalzo y no dejas que la paz de la Palabra de Dios tome el control.

La Biblia dice: “Los que aman tu Ley disfrutan de gran paz y nada los hace tropezar” Salmo 119:165 (NVI). En otras palabras, cuanto más amo y obedezco la Biblia, menos me siento ofendido por lo que otros dicen. Cuanto más amo la Palabra de Dios, menos me siento ofendido por lo que me pasa. Cuanto más amo la Palabra de Dios, no se verá afectado mi caminar con Dios.

Elige creer lo que la Palabra de Dios dice de ti, de los demás y sobre todo, acerca de Dios.

Elige creer la Palabra de Dios porque obedecerla te trae paz. Elige creer porque Jesús lo hizo. Elige creer porque lo que la Palabra de Dios dice acerca de ti y el mundo que te rodea, es cierto.

Reflexiona sobre esto:¿Cuál es tu mayor preocupación en este momento?¿Qué dice la Palabra de Dios acerca de lo que estás preocupado?¿Cómo se puede confiar en Dios para que te ayude con lo que te preocupa?¿Qué relaciones en tu vida necesitan ser sanadas?Si todavía no has confiado en Jesús y no te has comprometido a seguirlo, ¿por qué esperar más?
