¿Quién vela por ti?

“Alguien que está solo puede ser atacado y vencido, pero si son dos, se ponen de espalda con espalda y vencen; mejor todavía si son tres, porque una cuerda triple no se corta fácilmente”. Eclesiastés 4:12 (NTV)

Necesitas personas que te defiendan, te levanten y te protejan, te ayuden, te aconsejen, te mantengan en el camino y te protejan. Todos necesitamos de alguien, porque todos tenemos puntos ciegos.

Filipenses 2:4 dice: “Cada uno debe velar no sólo por sus propios intereses sino también por los intereses de los demás”.  Si quieres un versículo contra-cultural, ¡este es!  En América, la idea general es, todo se trata acerca de “mí” —mis necesidades, mis intereses, mis deseos y mis ambiciones.

Pero la Biblia dice que nos debemos cuidar el uno al otro. ¡Somos una familia!  Como hermanos y hermanas en la familia de Dios, debemos defender a los demás y ayudar a los demás a mantenerse en el buen camino.

Desde el 11 de Septiembre del 2001, todos hemos estado más alertas en velar los    unos por los otros. Pero ¿sabías que tienes un enemigo mucho más destructivo que los terroristas? ¡Oh, sí! Tienes un enemigo personal, y él te odia. Su nombre es Satanás. Él quiere estropear tu vida. Él quiere arruinar tus relaciones. Él quiere derrotarte.

¿Por qué podría hacer eso? Porque él no puede hacerle daño a Dios. Cuando alguien maligno quiere hacer daño a alguien y no puede, entonces trata de lastimar a sus hijos. Satanás no puede herir a Dios, entonces él trata de herir a los hijos de Dios.

Cuando Satanás te ataca, él no se presenta disfrazado de rojo y te dice, “¡BUU!” ¿Cómo Satanás estropea tu vida? A través de hábitos que no puedes romper, heridas que no puedes soltar ni sanar, a través de problemas, circunstancias y de relaciones que rompen tu corazón.

La mayoría de los cristianos son derrotados, porque tratamos de pelear contra Satanás en nuestra propia fuerza. ¡Eso es tonto!  Nunca vas a ganar contra el diablo por tu propia cuenta. Necesitas de otras personas que velen por ti y te ayuden.

La comunidad es la respuesta de Dios a la derrota. Necesitas encontrar personas quienes estén contigo en momentos difíciles y digan, “No vamos a dejar que te desanimes. No vamos a dejar que te deprimas. No vamos a dejar que te preocupes. Vamos a estar aquí contigo”.

Piensa en los momentos que has sido atacado espiritualmente. ¿Cómo el aislarte afectó tu capacidad de resistir la tentación?Cuando empiezas a sentirte atacado por Satanás, ¿Qué puedes hacer para usar el apoyo de tu grupo pequeño o de la familia de la Iglesia?¿Cómo puedes animar a alguien en tu grupo pequeño o a algún amigo que está confundido en su vida espiritual por las circunstancias?Si todavía no has confiado en Jesús y no te has comprometido a seguirlo, ¿por qué esperar más? Your Problems Can Be for Your Good

“God is gently calling you from the jaws of trouble to an open place of freedom where he has set your table full of the best food.”

Job 36:16 (NCV)

Did you know that pain can protect you from something worse? You might face a problem, but it’s actually preventing a bigger issue. Maybe you didn’t get a job you wanted, maybe you missed an opportunity, maybe you couldn’t make it somewhere—but God was protecting you from a harmful situation.

Sometimes, a problem is a blessing in disguise.

Years ago, a friend who is a businessman was asked to do something unethical. He refused because of his faith in Jesus. He was fired, losing his job and pension. A month later, the FCC prosecuted the company, and many people went to jail. My friend thanked God for getting fired, which saved him from a worse fate

When he was suffering, Job’s friend told him, “God is gently calling you from the jaws of trouble to an open place of freedom where he has set your table full of the best food” (Job 36:16 NCV).

Problems often prepare you for success and for God’s bigger and better plan that leads to freedom. It’s a matter of faith, where you must ask yourself a question when faced with a problem: Will you trust God?

Joseph had to ask himself this question. He had a vision of being a great leader, but everything went wrong for the first 40 years of his life. Betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused, and imprisoned, Joseph still ended up exactly where God wanted him. He later became second in command in Egypt and saved the whole nation.

Joseph said, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives” (Genesis 50:20 NIV).

There are people who mean to harm you, but God means it for good. God is bigger than your enemies and critics.

Shepherds sometimes have to break a leg of a sheep prone to wander to protect it from predators. If God has to break your leg to keep you safe, he will. He loves you that much.

Disappointments and detours are often his appointments, designed for your good.

Talk It Over

Which of your failures, problems, or disappointments in the past have turned out to be blessings in disguise?
Why can you trust God’s perspective on your problems more than your own perspective?
God has solved your biggest problem: He made a way for you to be a part of his family forever. How should that affect how you look at all your other problems?

En la Jornada de la Vida, ¡Nos Necesitamos Mutuamente!

“Y cada parte, al cumplir con su función específica, ayuda a que las demás se desarrollen, y entonces todo el cuerpo crece y está sano y lleno de amor”. Efesios 4:16 (NTV)

La Biblia dice en Colosenses 2:6-7: “Por lo tanto, de la manera que recibieron a Cristo Jesús como Señor, ahora deben seguir sus pasos” (NTV). La Biblia compara a menudo la vida con un paseo, porque en la vida no te quedas quieto. ¡Estamos en un viaje! En todo el Nuevo Testamento se nos dice que hay que caminar en sabiduría, en el amor, en la luz, en la obediencia y en el Espíritu.

Pero una de las principales formas que Dios nos dice que debemos caminar es la siguiente: tú nunca fuiste hecho para caminar solo por la vida. Esto no tiene nada que ver si eres soltero o casado. El matrimonio no resuelve el problema; la comunidad sí. Y encontrarás en la comunidad tu familia espiritual —el Cuerpo de Cristo.

Algunos de ustedes dicen, “¿qué hay de malo en caminar solo? Me gusta despertarme solo. De hecho, yo lo prefiero. Puedo ir a mi propio ritmo. Yo no tengo que esperar a nadie”.

Puede que te guste caminar solo, pero necesitas a otros para que caminen contigo a través de la vida. Déjame darte tres razones.

Es más seguro. ¿Alguna vez has tenido que caminar por un callejón oscuro por la noche o por un largo camino en el campo por tu propia cuenta? Puede ser un poco temeroso. Es más seguro caminar por la vida al lado de otros.Es más favorable. Hay un proverbio viejo zambiano que dice que, “cuando corres solo, corres rápido. Pero cuando corres con otros, corres lejos”. La vida no es una carrera de 50 metros; ¡es un maratón! La única forma en que vas a terminar bien la carrera sin desgastarte es teniendo otras personas involucradas en tu vida a través de relaciones significativas.Es más inteligente. Se aprende más caminando con otros que solo. Proverbios 28:26 dice: “Los que confían en su propia inteligencia son necios”. En otras palabras, si eres el único que piensa algo y nadie está de acuerdo contigo, puede que estés caminando en la dirección equivocada. Cuando caminas solo por la vida, no tienes a nadie que te diga: «Estamos fuera del camino. Tenemos que volver al camino e ir en la dirección correcta».

Efesios 4:16 dice: “Y cada parte, al cumplir con su función específica, ayuda a que las demás se desarrollen, y entonces todo el cuerpo crece y está sano y lleno de amor” (NTV).

Tienes que tener otras personas en tu vida para que te ayuden a crecer y ser la persona que Dios quiere que seas. La vida se trata de relaciones. Dios es amor, y Él quiere que aprendas a amarlo y amar a los demás. Esas son las dos mejores lecciones en la vida.

God Uses Problems to Correct You

“God corrects all of his children, and if he doesn’t correct you, then you don’t really belong to him . . . God corrects us for our own good, because he wants us to be holy, as he is. It is never fun to be corrected. In fact, at the time it is always painful. But if we learn to obey by being corrected, we will do right and live at peace.”

Hebrews 12:8, 10-11 (CEV)

Correction is essential for growth. Did you benefit from correction growing up? Of course you did. It’s how we all learned to walk, talk, eat, bathe, read, write, and everything else. A parent that doesn’t correct their children doesn’t love them.

Sometimes God shakes things up in your life not just to refine you but to correct you. Just like a loving earthly parent, God wants you to understand when you are off the path and how to get back on it. His correction proves you are part of his family.

“God corrects all of his children, and if he doesn’t correct you, then you don’t really belong to him . . . God corrects us for our own good, because he wants us to be holy, as he is. This happened to the nation of Israel 2,500 years ago. They had fallen into deep idolatry, and God essentially said, “I’m going to cure you of that addiction.” When they were conquered by the Babylonians and hauled off to a foreign country for 70 years, they finally started to listen to God. Israel never reverted to idolatry again.

Why does God shake things up? Because he wants to help us become unshakable, “so that only unshakable things will remain” (Hebrews 12:27 NLT).

We often change only when the pain of staying the same exceeds the fear of change. Sometimes, God has to lay us flat on our backs before we look up to him. Some lessons are only learned through correction after failure or adversity.

“So, what a blessing when God steps in and corrects you! Mind you, don’t despise the discipline of Almighty God! True, he wounds, but he also dresses the wound; the same hand that hurts you, heals you” (Job 5:17-18 MSG).

You’ll go through difficulties to sift out temporary things in your life, keeping only what lasts forever. God wants you to trust that his way and his purpose are better. His correction is proof of his love.

When God corrects you, ask him what you need to learn so you can keep growing.

Talk It Over

What problem are you facing right now? Instead of asking, “Why me?” what happens when you start asking, “What should I be learning?”
Have you ever looked at God’s correction as a blessing? Why do you need to change your perspective in this way?
What does it look like to remain unshakable through adversity?

Jesus is your unshakable foundation.

Jesus is your salvation, a fortress where you won’t be shaken.

He said, “These words I speak to you are not incidental additions to your life. . . . They are foundational words, words to build a life on. If you work these words into your life, you are like a smart carpenter who built his house on solid rock. Rain poured down, the river flooded, a tornado hit—but nothing moved that house. It was fixed to the rock” (Matthew 7:24-25 MSG).

Jesus’ love is unconditional. He promises to be with you forever. He is the unshakable foundation who will help you become unshakable. But the first step is to accept his promise of salvation.

If you’re ready to commit your life to Jesus, then pray this prayer:

“Dear Jesus, you have promised that if I believe in you, everything I’ve ever done wrong will be forgiven, and you will accept me into your eternal home in heaven one day.

“I confess my sin, and I receive you into my life as my Lord and Savior. I trust you when you say salvation comes by grace, through faith, and not by anything I do. Today I’m turning over every part of my life to your management.

“I’m grateful for your unconditional love. I want to use the rest of my life to love and serve you instead of serving myself. I commit my life to you and ask you to save me and accept me into your family. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.”

Necesitas la Ayuda de Dios para Cambiar

“Gracias a la acción de su Espíritu en nosotros, cada vez nos parecemos más a él”. 2 Corintios 3:18 (TLA)

Hacer un reinicio en tu vida no es algo que puedes hacer solo con energía humana. Solo Dios puede producir ese tipo de transformación en tu vida.

Piensa en esto: Alguien puede hacer una ley que diga: “No más perjuicios. No más racismo. No más fanatismo”. Pero ninguna ley va a convertir a un fanático en un amigo. Solo Dios tiene el poder de hacer eso —porque requiere un cambio interno, y solo Dios puede producir una verdadera y permanente transformación en nuestros corazones.

De la misma manera, puedes decirte a ti mismo que estás listo para un cambio, que quieres un cambio, que puedes cambiar, y que eso te cambiará. Pero nada sucederá —nada que permanezca o tenga un significado eterno— sin la ayuda del Espíritu Santo.

La Biblia dice en Zacarías 4:6, “«No por el poder ni por la fuerza, sino por mi Espíritu» —dice el Señor de los ejércitos” (LBLA).

Así como no puedes transformarte en un tigre o un leopardo, no puedes transformarte para ser como Cristo. No puedes cambiar tu vida en tus propias fuerzas. La fuerza de voluntad no es suficiente.

No obtuviste tus heridas, hábitos, y complejos durante una noche, y no los vas a eliminar de la noche a la mañana tampoco. Te tomará tiempo. De hecho, ¡Te va a llevar el resto de tu vida! Es un proceso lento. Y por tu cuenta, no tienes la paciencia suficiente y determinación para terminar fuerte.

Pero hay buenas noticias. La Biblia promete, “Gracias a la acción de su Espíritu en nosotros, cada vez nos parecemos más a él” 2 Corintios 3:18 (TLA).

Hacer cambios involucra un proceso durante toda tu vida que requiere el poder del Espíritu Santo. Mientras el Espíritu trabaja en ti, Dios te transforma en aquello para lo que fuiste creado y te hace más como Cristo.

Cuando Dios quiere hacer un champiñón, le toma seis horas. Cuando Él quiere un roble maduro, le toma sesenta años.

¿Quieres ser un champiñón o un roble? Dios quiere que crezcas como una mujer u hombre de Dios emocionalmente maduro, espiritualmente fuerte, feliz, y saludable.

No sucederá rápido. Pero sucederá con la ayuda del Espíritu Santo.

Reflexiona sobre esto:

¿Cuándo has intentado hacer un gran cambio de vida por tu cuenta? ¿Cuál fue el resultado?¿Por qué crees que Dios quiere algunos cambios en nuestras vidas tomen más tiempo?Algunas veces los mejores pasos que podemos tomar hacia un reinicio son los pequeños. ¿Qué pequeños pasos tomarás hoy para hacer un cambio en tu vida que te ayudará a ser la persona que Dios quiere que seas? ¿Cómo necesitas confiar en el Espíritu Santo, incluso en esos pequeños pasos?

¿Cuál es tu elección sobre Jesús?

La Biblia nos dice que solo puedes ir al Cielo confiando en Dios a través de su Hijo, Jesucristo. No puedes comprar tu entrada al cielo: “Porque por gracia ustedes han sido salvados mediante la fe. Esto no procede de ustedes, sino que es el regalo de Dios y  no por obras, para que nadie se jacte” (Efesios 2:8-9 NVI).

Si estás listo para entregar tu vida a Jesús, comienza con esta oración:

“Querido Dios, has prometido que, si creo en tu hijo, Jesucristo, todo lo que he hecho mal, será perdonado, aprenderé el propósito de mi vida, y tú me aceptarás en tu hogar eterno en el cielo un día”.

“Confieso que he pecado, y te pido que me perdones. Creo que Jesús murió para quitar mis pecados y que tú lo levantaste de los muertos. Quiero confiar en Jesús como mi Salvador y seguirlo como mi Señor, de hoy en adelante. Guía mi vida y ayúdame a hacer tu voluntad. En el nombre de Jesús, te lo pido, Amén”.

God Uses Adversity to Refine You

“I, the LORD, examine the mind, I test the heart to give to each according to his way, according to what his actions deserve.”

Jeremiah 17:10 (CSB)

Anytime your world is shaken up, look for how God is at work in the situation. He wants to bring good out of even the bad things as he teaches you how to be unshakable.

God often uses the shake-up times in your life to refine you—to mold you more closely to his image. He wants to show you any wrong motivations or misconceptions, any flaws or fears that may be keeping you from growing deeper in your faith.

God says, “I, the LORD, examine the mind, I test the heart to give to each according to his way, according to what his actions deserve” (Jeremiah 17:10 CSB).

God examines your motives because the “why” is always more important than the “what.” He values integrity over image.

It took the Israelites 40 years to cross the desert. They were in the desert that long because God kept testing them to show them that their faith was insufficient, and that they weren’t ready to go into the Promised Land.

The Bible says, “Remember how the LORD your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands” (Deuteronomy 8:2 NIV).

Over those 40 years, God gave them seven tests, and every time they failed, he would, in a sense, say, “Okay, take another lap around the desert.”

Sometimes God will take you to a desert too, to see if you will trust him. What matters in these desert times is not how much you feel God’s presence but how you walk according to his Word, even when you don’t feel he’s with you.

The Bible compares problems to a refining fire, burning off impurities: “Gold and silver are tested by fire, and a person’s heart is tested by the Lord” (Proverbs 17:3 GNT).

God tests you to see if you believe what you claim. When the heat is on, do you turn away or turn toward God? Do you lower your standards just to be popular? Are you totally committed to God, even when the pressure is strong?

When your life is shaken, always remember that God wants what is best for you. In the Message paraphrase, he says, “I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for” (Jeremiah 29:11 MSG).

Talk It Over

What does it look like to walk with God even when you don’t feel his presence?
When have you experienced problems that became a refining fire? What impurities did that fire burn off in your life?
God says, “I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for” (Jeremiah 29:11 MSG). How does that promise give you hope for yourself or for someone you love?

Cuatro Formas en las que la Biblia te Ayuda a Reiniciar tu Vida

“Toda la Escritura es inspirada por Dios y es útil para enseñarnos lo que es verdad y para hacernos ver lo que está mal en nuestra vida. Nos corrige cuando estamos equivocados y nos enseña a hacer lo correcto. Dios la usa para preparar y capacitar a su pueblo para que haga toda buena obra”. 2 Timoteo 3:16-17 (NTV)

Jesús dijo en Juan 17:17 “Santifícalos en la verdad; tu palabra es la verdad” (NVI).

¿Qué significa Santifícalos? Simplemente significa crecer y ser hecho más como Cristo —tener un reinicio. Después de que eliges seguir a Jesús, no eres la misma persona. Eres diferente. Estás siendo santificado.

¿Cómo eres santificado? Por la verdad de Dios. Entre más incorporas la Palabra de Dios en tu vida, más vas a ser transformado y hecho nuevo. Con la ayuda del Espíritu Santo, serás capaz de reiniciar las áreas de tu vida donde quieres experimentar un cambio.

Hacer un cambio siempre requiere que conozcas la Palabra de Dios. ¡Es el manual para reiniciar tu vida!

Cuando decides que no te gusta la forma en la que estás viviendo y las decisiones que has hecho simplemente no están funcionando, entonces necesitas ir a la Palabra de Dios. Te va a ayudar de formas muy prácticas:

“Toda la Escritura es inspirada por Dios y es útil para enseñarnos lo que es verdad y para hacernos ver lo que está mal en nuestra vida. Nos corrige cuando estamos equivocados y nos enseña a hacer lo correcto. Dios la usa para preparar y capacitar a su pueblo para que haga toda buena obra” 2 Timoteo 3:16-17 (NTV).

La Biblia te muestra el camino que tienes que andar. Te muestra donde te saliste del camino. Te muestra como regresar al camino. Y te muestra como permanecer en el camino.

En su Palabra, Dios te ha dado todo lo que necesitas para hacer cambios y entonces mantenerte en el camino correcto. Este es el por qué un tiempo diario devocional de estudio Bíblico y la oración son importantes. Si vas a cambiar, entonces tienes que enfrentar la verdad. ¿Y dónde está la verdad? Está en la Palabra de Dios. Cuando no estás en la Palabra de Dios, no estás aprendiendo y enfrentando la verdad a diario.

La Biblia es un espejo que reflejará lo bueno, lo malo y esas áreas que necesitan un cambio. Permítele a Dios que te muestre la verdad que Él ofrece en su Palabra para que puedas hacer cambios que te lleven a una vida con propósito y alegría.

Dios te muestra en su Palabra el camino correcto y como permanecer en él. ¿Dónde obtienes el poder para seguir ese camino?¿Tienes un tiempo devocional regular cuando lees y meditas en la Palabra de Dios y pasas tiempo en oración? Si no, ¿Qué evita que seas disciplinado en esta área?¿Qué ya te ha mostrado Dios en su Palabra que necesitas poner en acción? ¿Cuáles cambios necesitas hacer?Si todavía no has confiado en Jesús y no te has comprometido a seguirlo, ¿por qué esperar más? Don’t Be Surprised by Adversity

“I’ve told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I’ve conquered the world.”

John 16:33 (MSG)

You are going to experience problems in life. You’ll have times when your world is tossed upside down and everything is shaking and you don’t know which way is up.

These hard times aren’t a “maybe.” They’re guaranteed. Jesus said we shouldn’t be surprised by them. In the Message paraphrase, he said it like this: “I’ve told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I’ve conquered the world” (John 16:33 MSG).

He’s saying shake-ups are a normal part of life in a broken world. In heaven everything is perfect, but on earth everything is broken because of sin. Every relationship is broken, and every person is broken. The economy is broken. Even the weather is broken.

Because everything on earth is broken, we shouldn’t expect things here to be perfect. In fact, when something bad happens in your life, instead of saying, “Why me?” you could just as well say, “Why not me? I live here on earth.”

But no matter what adversity you face, you can know that Jesus is in control. He said, “Take heart! I’ve conquered the world.” When you trust him, you can rest in that truth.

Romans 8:28 shares the same truth: “God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them” (NLT). Does that mean even the worst things? Yes. Even your own sins? Yes.

God can turn crucifixions into resurrections. He can bring good out of bad. Anybody can bring good out of good, but only God can change even bad things into good.

Whatever is causing a shake-up in your life right now, you can trust that God will use it for good. And because of that, you can respond with acceptance and hope rather than surprise and despair.

The Bible teaches, “Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. Instead, be very glad—for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world” (1 Peter 4:12–13 NLT).

Talk It Over

When you experience difficulty, do you tend to say, “Why me?” or “Why not me?”
When have you seen God bring good out of a bad situation in the past?
What difficult situation is tempting you to despair right now? How does knowing that God can bring good out of any situation give you hope?

El Amor nos Ayuda a Enfrentar la Verdad

“Al contrario, el amor debe hacernos decir siempre la verdad, para que en todo lo que hagamos nos parezcamos cada vez más a Cristo, que es quien gobierna la iglesia”. Efesios 4:15 (TLA)

Cuando crees una mentira, no puedes hacer los cambios que realmente necesitas —lo que te lleva a la autoderrota.

Tal vez estás creyendo una mentira sobre lo que te hará feliz, sobre lo que Dios es realmente, o sobre cómo se ve el verdadero éxito. Puedes estar creyendo una mentira sobre ti mismo, sobre tu pasado o sobre tus presentes circunstancias.

La Biblia dice en 1 Juan 1:8, “Si afirmamos que no tenemos pecado, lo único que hacemos es engañarnos a nosotros mismos y no vivimos en la verdad” (NTV). Este es el primer paso al cambio: Tienes que admitir que hay un problema y que el problema está en ti. Cuando culpas a otros o niegas aceptar la verdad, solo te estás engañando —y estableciendo hábitos peligrosos.

El cambio personal requiere que no solo aprendas la verdad sobre ti mismo sino también a enfrentarla y tomar los pasos necesarios para avanzar.

De hecho, aprender a enfrentar la verdad sobre ti mismo es la cosa más amorosa que puedes hacer por ti, por otros, y para Dios. Efesios 4:15 dice, “Al contrario, el amor debe hacernos decir siempre la verdad, para que en todo lo que hagamos nos parezcamos cada vez más a Cristo, que es quien gobierna la iglesia” (TLA).

¿Quieres crecer? ¿Quieres cambiar? ¿Quieres una vida nueva? ¿Quieres un reinicio o nuevo comienzo en alguna área de tu vida?

Mira de nuevo Efesios 4:15, “El amor debe hacernos decir siempre la verdad” si te amas, y si amas a Dios y si amas a otras personas, entonces necesitas enfrentar la verdad sobre ti mismo.

Así cuando la pregunta llegue, ¿Cuál es la mejor fuente para encontrar la verdad? Consulta el manual del propietario —tu Biblia. La única forma en la que puedes aprender tu propósito en la vida es conociendo a tu creador y leyendo la Biblia.

Para vencer tus debilidades —ya sea que vengan de circunstancias, genes, padres o tus elecciones— necesitas enfrentar la verdad sobre ti mismo.

Y esa verdad se encuentra en la Palabra de Dios.

Reflexiona sobre esto:

Hay algo en ti que sabes es verdad y necesita atención y arrepentimiento, ¿Pero te niegas a enfrentarlo? ¿Qué crees que deberías hacer al respecto hoy?¿Crees que es más fácil enfrentar tus debilidades o pretender que no existen? ¿Por qué?Si sientes que la Biblia no tiene mucho que decirte, entonces pídele a Dios que te muestre a través del Espíritu Santo lo que Él quiere que aprendas sobre Él y ti mismo. Pídele que te aumente el amor por su Palabra.Si todavía no has confiado en Jesús y no te has comprometido a seguirlo, ¿por qué esperar más? God Will Make a Way

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)

You may be facing a dead end right now—financially, emotionally, or relationally. But you should keep on trusting God and moving forward in faith, even when you don’t see the next step you should take. God will make a way!

God’s plan becomes more understandable as you head down the path he sets before you, but understanding is not a requirement for you to start down the path.

Proverbs 4:18 says, “The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day” (NIV).

Right now, it may feel like there’s not enough light to see even one step in front of you. But when you trust God for the road ahead, he will make a way, one step at a time. Then, one day you will stand in the full light of eternity and view the big picture. You’ll see God’s purpose behind the path he chose specifically for you.

In the meantime, do what Proverbs 3:5-6 says: “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” (NIV).

That is not as easy as it sounds! We usually want to trust in ourselves and what we understand about the situation. We don’t want to submit to anyone. We want to go our own way, and we especially want it to be on our timetable.

Be patient. God knows what he’s doing. He knows what is best for you, and you can trust him because he is good.

You may not be able to see the end result, but God can. All those problems, heartaches, difficulties, and delays—all the things that make you ask “why?”—will one day be clear in the light of God’s love.

But for now, you’re learning to trust God. So go ahead and take the next step, leaning on God’s wisdom and his promises. Keep heading down that path he’s laid out for you, and he’ll keep making a way.
