Fear of the Unkown
Will Ebola sweep the USA? Will the Islamic State send its agents of destruction into the USA across the Mexican border? Why not across the Canadian border? Would the unemployment rate go from around 10% when Obama took office, to its present 5.8? Would the stock market go from around 9,000 to its present above 17,000? Would gas prices drop from around $3.49 per gallon to their present $2.89; will they drop further? Would 7 million Americans without health insurance be insured? Would any of this matter to the electorate in 2014? Why does the beleaguered, shrinking American middle class vote for the very people who don’t care about them? What accounts for the persistence of fear, ignorance and racism that makes these facts irrelevant? Could fear of the unknown cause people to ignore facts?

Gratitude Without Objective
What does that mean? It means appreciating, realizing and knowing in our guts that despite appearances things are unfolding as they should. That’s very difficult for me to do given the recent election results, but if I don’t want to spend my time angry, paranoid and miserable, knowing that despite appearances things are unfolding as they should is the only choice. How often did you fall when learning to walk and ride a bike? How many tries does it take to learn something new – your computer, phone, GPS? In the bigger picture, there are no mistakes, and despite appearances things are unfolding as they should. But damn, the election results are so difficult for me to accept.

Gratitude as Spirit Tech
Are special training and equipment necessary to use Spiritual Technology – Spirit Tech? No. We’re all using it all the time, usually unconsciously. The more consciously we use it, the better the results. Gratitude, for example, is a form of spirit tech. Gratitude directs the energy in and around us. Sincere gratitude raises the level of our experience so that the highs are higher and the lows are lower. Just conscious gratitude – a spiritual technology – can enable you to make your own unique contribution to a world that works for everyone and everything.

Flat Earth Thinking
When nearly everyone thought the world was flat, was it still round? How much weight do we want to give appearances? Do our five senses give us all the information available to us? What if there’s a sixth sense beyond appearances? A sense that shows us more of the whole, the roundness, instead of just the flatness? “If a person could pass through Paradise in a dream; and have a flower presented to her as a pledge that her soul had really been there, and if she found the flower in her hand when she awoke, what then?” Samuel Taylor Coleridge.

New Spirit-Tech Image
The new Spirit-Tech visual presentation incorporates a background line illustration of the golden ratio, a mathematical diagram of the divine proportions as demonstrated in nature.
It is displayed as a mirrored image on a blended background of steel blue (tech) and soft rose pink (spirit) to indicate the harmony and balance created when you understand how to effectively use the power of SPIRIT-TECH in business and personal relationships.

A Big Bummer
No one came to my book reading Saturday. Bummer. Big bummer. At times like this I forget how truly blessed I am and what a wonderful life I live. I feel sorry for myself, like a victim instead of the co-creator I truly am. My life freezes up and if I’m not careful, other things will start going ‘wrong’. But what if ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ are just ego tricks to keep me from remembering who and what I am, who you are, and what life is for? Yes. And when I think about the truth and not the trick, I smile; like I’m smiling now.
