We never could trace this scene back to the lived ones and I always suspected that it might have been from a future scene. Sherlock dreaming of Mary’s escape, maybe while slowly connecting the dots in his MP. Maybe as he solved it along, he saw that Mary would be flight risk?
If this whole Canada speculation is true, can that be about that? Remember CAM also said all that “wet jobs” for the CIA. Does she have a past there?
And most importantly, will we see a confrontation moment in the falls? Because in TAB Sherlock hinted that unlike the Reichenbach falls scene in ACD canon, John will be at the falls, maybe it was reality disguised as symbolism because we all connected it to Bart’s rooftop. Was the fall scene in TAB a hint at how Sherlock discovered Mary’s role and envisioned it in his MP? Was Moriarty there Mary coded in reality?

Yesterday’s attack on the Sherlock fandom from Amanda tells me several things, but the main thing is that episode 2 features Mary on the outs and Sherlock and John very much together. AA finds it difficult to separate herself from her characters. She had spent the afternoon at the read through and was not in a happy place, that anger was OTT for the incident with the script and was clearly venting further frustrations. I think Benedict and Martin must have been having a great time with the John and Sherlock scenes!

I realized, after the storm yesterday, that it meant that Amanda was for sure in S4.E2. I really wish she wasn’t. I feel like enough of the precious episodes we have are already all about Mary, which is just totally detracting from the 221B/John and Sherlock vibe for me (platonic or johnlock). I was ready for her to be gone at the end of HLV. (And she should have been after the shooting). But no, all was forgiven and there she was in TAB and now 2 episodes of S4.
The only way this is going to be not awful is if she’s at least fully a villain by E2, or at least an ex, and John has moved back to 221B.
There are hints that might be the case (the door knocker Arwel tweeted). I’m not sure the first page of the script either confirms or denies that, but last I saw the ‘decoding’ it was just a few lines. What did you see in the script that confirms it for you?
Interesting thought that she might have been in a pissy mood yeseterday because of the script and read through. It’s possible and an interesting observation.

His gaze is impossibly fond, his eyes are impossibly blue, he pulls you impossibly closer, your heart beats impossibly fast, the bulge in his pants is impossibly hard, he should maybe get that checked out.
You don’t remember ever working out and yet you look down and see you have a six pack. When you next see yourself in the mirror you have an eight pack. When he takes of your shirt you have ten, twelve abs. You’re scared to look again in case there are more.
His eyes change colour depending on his moods. At first you thought it was a trick of the light, but now you’re not so sure. They switch between blue, green and grey. Once you thought you saw a flicker of red. You make sure to kiss with your eyes closed now.
You’re white, and so is he. Sometimes he’s your enemy, but you still love him, don’t you? Of course, it makes sense. You’re not sure what you like about him, exactly, but there must be something, right? There’s this intangible thing between you, isn’t there? You feel like you may have more chemistry with your non-white friend, but that can’t be right.
You don’t remember taking your clothes off but you’re naked now. Well, all you remember is toeing out of your shoes. You always toe out of them, although you don’t quite know what that means.
Your pronouns mix into a blur and you no longer know where you end and he begins… You reach out your hand to his hand on his arm… your arm… his… You are sitting and he straddles you but is facing away… There are hands everywhere…
