What...
What the hell is going on in this ep? She was tweeting before about what seemed to be an unusual burden of costuming. Lots of extras? Giant gala? Fancy dress party? Anything with lots of people and wearing clothes they wouldn’t have themselves. It’ll be a fairytale romance episode of course so what fits with that? Beachwalkers?
Attention, BBC Sherlock fans! Our Meta Library is happening.
Our fandom is an amazingly creative place: We gif, we draw, we write – and we analyse. But unfortunately, meta we write can be lost easily since there is no central archive. There are masterlists, sure, yet how often have you read a post that starts with “I don’t know if anyone’s already written about this”?
We intend to fix that.
Our plan is to create a centralised, inclusive, safe, easy-to-browse archive for all meta created on BBC’s Sherlock: the SHERLOCK META LIBRARY. It will be a place for both ‘veterans’ of meta and complete newcomers - as well as all those in between.
The TEAM behind this endeavour is a diverse group of Sherlockians currently working on building the site, developing a tagging strategy, a marketing plan, a budget, and much, much more. Our chief aim is TRANSPARENCY, which is why we created this ‘official’ Tumblr, and other social media accounts will follow. We will post updates frequently and get you all involved!
How you can help:

Buy a shirt; help old dogs have a home
Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary provides a home for senior dogs that cannot find people to adopt them—a real home, with beds
and couches for them
and love and vet care and a large property to roam on with custom-made boardwalks with ramps to make it easy for the dogs that have trouble with stairs. They also provide temporary and permanent foster homes for many more, with a unique thing called Forever Fostering, where people within 100 miles of the Sanctuary can foster a dog forever, with all veterinary care and medication paid for.
They have around 20 dogs living in the Sanctuary, including blind pug Bugsy, who had to have his eyes removed.

End of block one, so I would say we get a weeks break. Episode one was ADVENTURE; Ferrari cars, embassy siege, ambassadors, cars crash, under water clapperboard, christening, baby bomb strapped onto John, Mary taking lead with the hound, alone Sherlock on Vauxhall Bridge, hints of MI6 and Whitehall, SOCO investigators, delivery in the back of an Audi and missing back shots of Molly and Mrs H. What an episode and what a setlock. Thanks to everyone who setlocked with me, it was an honour. Plus we got some much needed Freebatch.
Focus shifting to block 2 and the recce to the beach, let’s look for AA filming, baby on set, and ring watch. It will be revealing.
Yes to all this! It’s exciting! Can’t wait for more setlock and speculation.
