Is this Mary sitting in Sherlock’s chair?!

Just an idea, but this is a comparison of the two pictures. On the left Arwel’s new tweet with a blond short haired figure sitting in front of a window. On the right the picture he tweeted of Rachel Talalay on April 18th. Clearly sitting in Sherlock’s chair.

I am wrong, I guess… mainly because certain bits of this theory sound too good to be true but anyway, here’s what I think about s4 rn in this very moment, summed up in a few little points:

Episode 1: The Silver Blaze; adventure

Mary gives birth in a car; turns really freaking weird afterwards

John is not happy about Mary’s life choices
John and Sherlock solving a case together (involving either racing cars or poison or whatever)
John visiting Ella because his life is miserable
Baby’s Christening
Mycroft dies
Mycroft’s funeral, off screen
Sherlock getting emotional
Sherlock gets to pet a dog, this is important to remember
John moves back to 221b
Mary and the baby, which may or may not be John’s, disappear

Episode 2: The Devil’s Foot; romance

John and Sherlock spending together some time at beach (maybe a case, maybe just getting some time off), living together in a cottage, sharing one bed even (maybe?) because this is Moffat

They are a mess
PINING
lot of staring, soft smiles, John making tea and breakfast for Sherlock
John and Sherlock kissing for the first time, idk where or when or what exactly happens before they lock their lips I just hope they kiss
love confessions
cuddling in bed
they return to London as a couple
someone ruins everything

Episode 3: The Three Garridebs; terror

Pain

Angst

Terror
Pain and Angst and Terror

You and I are on exactly the same page!!

I’m in total denial about Mycroft

I love this! I’ve followed setlock enough to get most of where you’re coming from, but what points to these?

John moves back to 221bMary and the baby, which may or may not be John’s, disappear

Please tell me you have links! :-) Fingers fucking crossed on those items.

The Devil’s Foot & SS4 Ep2

inevitably-johnlocked:

sussexbound:

I was rather excited to see the possible beach location for SS4 Ep2, as @welovethebeekeeper, mentioned, it is very reminiscent of the story “The Adventure of The Devil’s Foot”.  The location immediately made me think of the Granada Holmes episode of said story.

This story is interesting, because it begins with Holmes and Watson heading out to the seaside for a holiday (where they rent a lovely seaside cottage, just the two of them).  They are doing this because Holmes is on the brink of complete collapse, and has been ordered by London doctors to take a break to restore his health.  There is a very subtle suggestion by Watson, that the cause of this breakdown was a combination of Holmes overtaxing himself with work, not taking care of himself, and over indulging in drugs.

This would fit in well with what we saw in TAB, as well as what we’ve seen so far for SS4 Ep1.  I suspect that Sherlock (and possibly also John) is going to be taxed to his psychological limits in this first episode.  We already know that he had been indulging in his drug habit throughout HLV and TAB.  It’s likely that if he is trying to back off from that use again in SS4 Ep1, he’s feeling the effects of that.

It’s also interesting to note that in the Granada Holmes version of this episode, as @welovethebeekeeper, also mentioned, there is a lovely scene of Holmes burying his drugs in the sand, as a symbol of Holmes giving them up entirely.  And given what you see between Holmes and Watson in this episode, I always walked away with the impression that Holmes choice to turn his back on the drugs was as much due to his affection for Watson as it was for his own benefit. Watson expresses his concerns over Holmes health a great deal throughout the story.

Finally, this story contains one of the most lovely references to Holmes love for Watson in the canon.  I would put this scene on par with Three Garridebs, if not above it.  And it was beautifully done in the Granada Holmes version.

Ohhh this is good. Especially that line about “who knows what I would do”; this could foreshadow the garridebs in E3 if it hadn’t happened already!

I love this entire meta. Thank you! I forgot how much I loved this episode of Granada :)

Oh, I would dearly love to see this.

Notice how he looks at Sara very briefly, goes “enh” and then turns and looks DIRECTLY at Sherlock?

This always cracks me up.

Tom Hiddleston at the Tribeca Tune In: ‘The Night Manager’ - 2016 Tribeca Film Festival - April 15th, 2016

I’ve been watching “The Night Manager”. And I’ve never been a Tom Hiddleston fan. Nor am I usually that gaga over pretty boy looks. I mean, Martin Freeman does it for me, right? And that’s at least 75% attitude rather than classic good looks.

But Tom Hiddleston in “The Night Manager”? I’m just going to say it: He’s the most stunning-looking male I’ve ever seen. His body is so damn perfect, and those eyes. And his aura/vibe too. Geez. That man won all the beans in the gene lotto. That’s it.

May have got a bit carried away with the color, but I like it. Especially John’s hair. Plus, it smells like chocolate!

“Romance” getting a nice location is it?

Southerndown Beach in Bridgend I think? Dr Who location for Army of Ghosts.

Bit of Devil’s Foot vibe here. Please bury the cocaine in the sand as a nod to Granada Holmes Devil’s Foot. Romance indeed.

A beach scene… could be cool.

aviateurs:

You saw me. What I mean is, you saw me  and you asked if I was okay. And not like most people ask it, like they’ve asked it a hundred times that day already. You asked it as if nothing else mattered to you. And I thought, “How is it that this person who I’ve never seen before, how are they the only person in the whole world who knows that I’m not okay?” And I was sure if I could just find out your name, if I could just find out who you were, everything would be okay.
