The wheels on the bus go round and round….
“The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round,
round and round. The wheels on the bus go round and round, all through the town.”
Oh wait, no, they stopped.
My, I’m in an odd mood today.

It Takes Two Weeks To Delete Facebook Pages
Remember how I was going to delete the individual Facebook pages for my books Bones Buried in the Dirt, The Garden of Good and Evil Pancakes, Not Quite so Stories, and Apocalypse All the Time and move any news for them to my Facebook author page instead? Yeah, I tried to do that Saturday. Turns out Facebook won’t make that final for 14 days, no way around it. I had to delete and unpublish all the pages to get them not visible, and hopefully to where they won’t bug me about them over and over again for those 14 days, and even then they still clutter up my various menu lists.
I really have to wonder about why Facebook structures things the way it does. It just doesn’t seem to make any sense.

Well, I Managed To Hit 41 Before I Had To Get My First Crown
Well, I managed to hit 41 before I had to get my first crown. I suppose that’s something.
Not as good as never needing a crown at all, but something.

This Month’s Book Plug Post
I’m trying to start doing a book plug post once a month now. Here’s the one for April, just to get it out of the way early:
Apocalypse All the Time is post-post-apocalypticism. The apocalypse happens on a weekly (if not daily) basis and Marshall is sick of it. Life is constantly in peril, constantly disrupted, but nothing significant every really happens as a result. It’s always handled. Marshall wants out; he wants it all to end. In short, the book explores what about the end times holds such fascination for humanity and what impact such a fascination has on the way we live our lives.
Life is absurd, ultimately beyond our comprehension, in [some awesome accomplishment] David Atkinson’s latest short story collection Not Quite So Stories. Themes of adolescence, marriage, work, and death intersect in stories that will leave the reader at times amused, sorrowful, pensive, hopeful, and marveling at the bizarre things that make people tick.
Don’t you hate it when you may (or may not) be trapped endlessly in a Village Inn with your ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend, coincidentally your ex-best friend? That’s the kind of day Cassandra is having. In a homogenized world that is left mostly empty so everyone can feel comfortable, The Garden of Good and Evil Pancakes explores the fictions we tell ourselves and the fictions we tell ourselves about the fictions we tell ourselves. See the trailer on EAB Publishing’s YouTube page.
Bones Buried in the Dirt features a young boy named Peter. Ranging from ages four to twelve, Peter’s stories focus on the sort of moments in childhood that get buried in the mind but never fully get absorbed, the moments that constantly come to the surface later in life and shape identity. The result is a sonar picture of the individual Peter will become.
Reviews on Goodreads and Amazon are always appreciated.

We Haven’t Done A Hot Dog Animated Gif In A While
We haven’t done a hot dog animated gif in a while. Let’s do one now, and a presidential one at that:
There. Didn’t that hit the spot?

The Elevators In My Office Building
The elevators in my office building sometimes open right as I walk up even though no one had pushed the button yet. The elevator doors don’t just open from time to time and this only happens once in a while. The building does not seem fancy enough to have motion sensors or anything. Clearly what has happened is that the machines have achieved sentience and simply have not decided to take me out thus far.
We’ll just have to wait and see how this develops.

Two More Days
Two more days. Then I’m deleting the individual Facebook pages for my books Bones Buried in the Dirt, The Garden of Good and Evil Pancakes, Not Quite so Stories, and Apocalypse All the Time and moving any news for them to my Facebook author page instead.
Facebook would be less hassle if they scaled their push to get you to spend money based on what kind of page you have. Not every page is suited to them pushing/harassing paid advertising on every single post. They’d do better if they could alter at all based on targeted information. Given that’s their thing really, it’s surprising they’re so ham-handed and clumsy about it.

Book Review Beg
Authors love reviews. Good, bad, indifferent…we just need to know people are reading. Have you read one of my books and not yet left a Goodreads or an Amazon review? Would you consider leaving one at each? I’d sure appreciate it.

This Is What I’m Thinking About Every Time One Of You Says “Stormy”
I keep seeing people talk about “Stormy.” Just so you know, I don’t think of what you think of when you say that. This is what I think of:
I think my world is more pleasant.
