That Was Fun

Well, that was fun. We used to drive back and forth between Omaha and Denver several times a year. That takes 7-8 hours and we eventually decided just to fly instead and save time. However, we hit delays on both flights out and back for this last weekend. One of them was almost enough time just to drive instead. When you factor in $200-400 per person for a ticket, $100 for the parking garage, a couple hundred or whatever for the rental car, we paid a pretty good amount to shave off just a few hours for the total round trip.

I’d still do it, but I’m feeling pretty grumbly about it.

We’re Finally Going To Try That Ramen Place A Block From Our House

We’re FINALLY going to try that ramen place that’s a block from our house. I’ve been trying to get my wife to go there for almost six months. I love ramen restaurants, but she isn’t that big on them. Still, only a block from the house? How could we not? She FINALLY gave in though and we’re going to go try it tonight. It looks a little strip mall-ish and doesn’t appear busy often, but we’ll see. I’ll have formed an opinion by the time you read this.

Of course, I’ll probably forget to mention the results. That tends to happen on here to things I’m anticipating.
