Anyone Remember This? It Was Awful.

Anyone remember this? It was terrible.

Seriously, absolute Hanna-Barbera garbage. I used to watch it all the time.

Conclusion? It Doesn’t Matter.

My wife and I came out of a store the other day back to our car and my wife started examining a dent on the side of our car. She asked me if it looked worse than before. I honestly couldn’t be sure. She was fairly certain someone had hit it, making it bigger, but wasn’t sure when it might have happened.

Then I thought about it.

We drive a 2003 Corolla. I bought it used in 2006. It has hail damage we never bothered to fix as well as a bash in one side and some bumper damage we also never bothered to fix from when I ran off the road in a snowstorm back in 2007-2008. Why did we fix none of that? Because it’s a 2003 Corolla.

Honestly, what did it matter? Was the dent bigger? Who cares. Did it affect anything? Was anyone going to pay to fix the damage? No, and we weren’t either.

I think she was just making conversation.

I’m Tempted To Buy Anything That Levitates

I don’t know what it is, but I’m tempted to buy anything that levitates. That spinner thing that floated on magnets they used to sell at the “nature” store in malls? I was tempted to buy it. Magnetic floating globes? Tempted to buy it. That magnetic floating drink thing from Kickstarter? Tempted.

I don’t know why. I know it’s just some magnets. I know it isn’t that special. I know there’s no chance I’d ever actually use any of it…but still.

IT FRICKIN’ FLOATS!!!!

I Will Refrain From Going Out Shopping Anywhere In The US On Black Friday

I promise here and now that I will not go out and shop anywhere in the US on Black Friday this year. I will not change my mind, I will not compromise on this.

Of course, I may not be ABLE to shop in the US on Black Friday this year, so maybe this isn’t much of a sacrifice on my part. I’ll reveal why this is more of a joke later, though it does still seem better to me to stay home with family rather than go out and bother other people at US stores today.

I might cut this out eventually. Honestly, I’m even starting to bore myself with this.

One Of My Friends Didn’t Know What Dr. Tran Was

One of my friends didn’t know what Dr. Tran was. I couldn’t believe it. For one thing, it ruined the Dr. Tran joke I made at the time. Regardless, I can’t take the chance that more of you don’t know about Dr. Tran:

So now you know, and knowing is half the battle. How could you live without knowing about this?

I Still Can’t Believe That Was Supposed To Be Real

I spent a few Thanksgivings hanging out with a group of good friends who celebrated the holiday by eating and watching terrible movies. One year brought a selection that was much worse than average, Billy Jack.

Seriously, it was awful. It was hoaky, awkward, low-budget, and all the rest. I laughed about it later to my parents…only to find out that it was apparently a big deal movie when it came out back in 1971. It was a big thing to them, they went out to see it in the theater special. I couldn’t believe it though, there was just no way. It was too awful.

I still can’t believe this was a real movie.
