A Kraft Macaroni And Cheese Dilemma

I have a Kraft macaroni and cheese dilemma. I love Kraft macaroni and cheese. I don’t know why since it isn’t real good, maybe nostalgia value, but I do.

Unfortunately, I only like the kind that comes in the usual multi-serving style box. Elbow only, no funny flavors or shapes. My wife avoids this because it is kind of garbage nutritionally. Eating the whole box myself is horrible, and I stop even wanting it about halfway through. However, I don’t like the taste of the single serving little pods they came out with.

I think I’m at an impasse.

Crock-Pots Are The Tools Of The Devil

Crock-pots are the tools of the devil. They are handy, yes. They can make tasty things, yes. It is handy to set a meal up and then come back when it is done without having to be there in between, yes. However, that’s not how it works.

How it works is that you set it up to go and then don’t go anywhere. It would be fine if you left, but you didn’t. The food starts to smell good in twenty minutes. It will not be done for six hours or so. The proof in this is the soup my wife is cooking in the kitchen right now (when I’m writing this, not when the post runs). I desperately want a bowl…but can have none. I am so hungry.

Stupid devil.

Personal Heroes

This man is a personal hero.

If only he’d figured out how to add new Goldfish crackers, he’d have been set. Oh well, got to have room for dreams, I suppose.

This Image Has Nothing To Do With This Post

This image has nothing to do with this post.

Why is it here? What am I doing? I think I’m just hungry. A peanut butter and jelly sandwich sounds good right now.

I’m Craving Ramen

I’m craving ramen.

Or udon. Or pho. It really doesn’t matter. I can be flexible.

Is That Sword Alive?

Fans of the original Legend of Zelda game know the phrase. “It’s dangerous to go alone! Take this.” But…is that sword a sentient being? Is it alive? That would be the only way taking the sword would involve not being ‘alone.’ If not, are those two statements simply unconnected?

I just don’t know. I do know that the phrasing bugs the crap out of me and always has. Perhaps “It’s dangerous to go unarmed!” would have been better.

I Seriously Must Have Been Making Those Maruchan Instant Lunch/Ramen Noodles Wrong

Look at this:

I don’t know if this is supposed to be Maruchan Instant Lunch or ramen noodles (the page for which at the time of this writing actually involved the term “tasty ethnic food flavor”) but I must have been making both wrong. Mine never looked ANYTHING like this.
